Close to Everything. Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village is conveniently located in front of Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). Situated in the heart of a busy commercial area, our full-service hotel in Punta Cana, Domincan Republic provides direct access to the broad range of shopping and dining options of GalerĂas Punta Cana. It’s an easy drive to the pristine Playa Blanca, to world-class golf courses, or to Santo Domingo along the nearby Coral Highway.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay here and there were many options for eating across the street in the village. The rooms were clean and neat. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Not much for options for TV in English with the only US news channel was Fox News( which I no longer consider news at all) The food was ok but unless you ate there immediately after it was cooked the food was cold. (Too large of containers and too small of flame) Seemed the bacon and sausage was over cooked and dry but I think that is perhaps the Dominican way as we found this at other restaurants as well. There is a shuttle that goes to the beach but ask for a schedule each day for pickup and drop off times. We did have to wait for over an hour to be picked up by the shuttle and airport personnel didn’t seem to know where we were to be picked up as there is no place that tells specifically where the pickup is. Recommend you take a $10 taxi ride from the airport as it is just a short distance from the airport.

This convenient hotel is an ideal stay if you have just landed or about to embark upon a long haul flight to or from Punta Cana. As close as it could possibly be to the airport it is a welcome haven of efficient accommodation. Our room was clean and comfortable but very basic. You wouldn't wish to stay for long. The service is friendly yet coolly efficient. Fair value. About half a mile away is a modern shopping mall with a good array of shops, local and international brands. Especially handy is a Claro telecoms outlet where you can pick up a local Sim card, although it doesn't open until 10.00am. There is close by a very large and quite upscale supermarket where you can pick-up any necessary provisions to equip you for your upcoming vacation. This supermarket reputedly opens at 7.00am.

Located in an area comprised of some new residential condominiums, two shopping centers, a service avenue and airport. 30 minutes from Bávaro Beach - transfer for couples 25 dollars. Modern building, well maintained. Staff with cold service. Good size room, clean, ceramic floor, but with completely unnecessary carpet, it didn't smell good. Even next to the airport and road, the room was very quiet. Good bathroom, with shower, amenities and hairdryer. Complimentary water, as drinking tap water is not recommended. Buffet breakfast for 25 dollars. In front of the hotel is the Village Mall with great coffee options and a very pleasant open environment. The hotel offers airport transfers until 10pm. There is a telephone with a direct line to the hotel to request a transfer in the arrivals lobby. Taxis are available at the exit. The uniformed driver approaches the passengers. The vehicles do not have any identification and are parked in a public place. Cost to the hotel 15 dollars. It's very close, but difficult to walk.

Leidy and Mariana at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and professional. However, the gentleman who answered the phone when I called for the shuttle service to pickup me up at the airport needs more training in customer service (unfortunately, I did not get his name.) So I requested the shuttle and the gentleman informed me that it would be there in 5 minutes to pick me up. I said “great, but where exactly should I wait for the shuttle,” and he said the VIP area of the airport. He didn’t provide specific details about the vehicle so I assumed that a clearly marked shuttle with the hotel’s name or logo would be picking me up. After 30 minutes of waiting I called the hotel again to inquire about the status of the shuttle and the same gentleman answered. Again, he failed to give me details about the vehicle and assured me it would be there in 5 minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes I tried calling again but couldn’t get through, so I decided to get to the hotel on my own and not waste any more time waiting. (While waiting never did a driver get out of a vehicle to announce they were from the hotel.) The hotel is only about a mile away from the airport and thankfully I found a reliable taxi company and I arrived well at the hotel, but frustrated. This seems to be a recurring issue with this hotel. It is unfortunate and very inconsiderate to the customers, whom after a long trip, just want a reliable way to get to the hotel. I was able to take the shuttle to the airport for my returning flight. The shuttle is not clearly marked with the name or logo. This should be communicated to the customer, and given a clear description of the shuttle so one knows what to look for. I should also mention that weeks prior to my arrival I emailed the hotel directly to get more information such as specific pick-up instructions, including the shuttle stop location, shuttle schedule and meeting point upon arrival. I never received a response from the hotel, and yes I checked my spam folder and verified their email just to make sure. I resorted to messaging them and commenting on social media, I had other questions about their amenities and things to do around the area, and they didn’t respond either. I would never stay here again because of the lack of communication with the customers.

Response from Customer Experience, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village
Responded 4 weeks ago
Dear Mrs. U, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We deeply regret the experience you had with our shuttle service and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand the frustration of waiting after a long trip, and it is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Your comments about the lack of clear communication regarding the shuttle’s location and the issues with customer service are concerning to us, and we take them very seriously. We will be sure to review the situation with the staff member involved and reinforce proper customer service protocols and communication to prevent similar issues in the future. Additionally, we will make sure to enhance our shuttle information, both at the time of booking and on the day of arrival, so our guests have clear and accurate instructions. We also regret the delay in responding to your email and social media messages. We strive to be responsive to all inquiries, and we will review our communication procedures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We truly value your feedback as it helps us improve our services. While we are disappointed that your stay did not meet expectations, we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the experience you deserve. Thank you once again for bringing these matters to our attention. Warm regards, Customer Experience Team

This hotel is very conveniently located to/from the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle that goes approximately every 20 minutes to and from the airport which is great, and just a couple of minutes drive away. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and is situated just across the road from restaurants and bars.

Four Points by Sheraton is an executive hotel, ideal for travelers that prefer to stay away from noise and many kids spreading sand all over the place. We stayed as a family and while it's not close to the beach, it's possible to to to a portion of Punta Cana beach monitored by this and other hotels. We didn't bother going to the beach, as we enjoy more the peace and tranquility. They have a small pool (both in size and in depth), enough to entertain your small kids and take some sun rays. They have a gym, Wi-Fi is strong everywhere so you can work as well in your room, in the lobby or by the pool.
Personnel is extremely helpful, friendly, very diligent, easy to get help from. This is always a plus, trust me.
Four Points is located just in front of the Punta Cana Village, a cozy plaza with many small shops and restaurants that really have an overall nice atmosphere. The Village is a great place to have dinner and lunch (Four Points only offers breakfast buffet, up to noon on weekends, 10am weekdays).
If you are on the tranquil side and prefer to wander around doing your own stuff instead of having everything offered by an All-Inclusive (which quality is not usually the best), the Four Points is as good as it can get.

Very nice reception staff. Was given a smoking room initially, even though stated non smoking. TV shows terminal B airport departures, why not terminal A? Rooms require maintenance/ upgrading. Shower shampoo requires walking other side. TV channels - poor reception. Breakfast very poor. Rude, unprofessional and uncaring waiters, esp. the person who takes room numbers like being asked prison number. No eye contact. Manners need much improvement. Giving instruction by hand gestures! Good free transport to airport, shopping centre and beach. Be aware of USD 20 tax to pay at check in! Can get suddenly busy due to wedding events/ airline staff stay.

Everything was perfect! The staff is welcoming and the hotel is clean. Lunch is good and can be taken on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool is well maintained. The hotel is well soundproofed, being close to the airport, I expected to hear noise from planes but nothing! The location is perfect, close to everything! The hotel provides access to Playa Blanca beach! White sand and palm trees! In short, very good hotel for a short or long time.

Arrived late from Canada so took their free shuttle and stayed here for one night. (Headed to "beach" hotel next day with E Transfers, also highly recommend!) Was a bit confusing to find shuttle, but once did, rep was extremely helpful. Right as you leave Customs , you enter a long room with vendor desks on either side. On right we found the BD Experience / Travel rep who called us the free shuttle to the Sheraton (less than 5 minute drive away.) All Front Desk staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent accommodation and hotel staff!

Our plane arrived in Punta Cana around 8pm. Rather than "wasting" a day at our all-inclusive resort, we stayed here for a night and then went to the resort in the morning. Hotel was quite new, very close to the airport (10-15 minute walk) without being too loud, rooms were clean, service was cheerful, and best of all, you could walk out the front doors to find things to eat and see. Had a fab meal at La Cava in the open-air mall, and enjoyed taking pictures beside the mural wall. Would definitely stay here again!
