1st thing, 1st. We read all the negative reviews about the food poisoning, French attitiudes, lousy service, etc. etc, and naturally had our concerns before arriviing. Well, take it all with a grain of salt. It's a huge, beautiful resort with as a much ( or as little) to do as you want. Our children (daughter 14, son 12) did...

My family and I (2 adults, 4 kids - 12, 10, 4 &1) have just returned from our trip to Club Med Punta Cana and are very sad to report that all the reviews warning of stomach issues at the resort are true. Five out of the 6 of us got vomiting and diarrhea (with the 6th, me, only getting...

This resort provides such a variety of activities while allowing those of us who wanted to just relax do that undisturbed. Children of all ages have organized activities and meet children from around the world to interact and socialized with. Eyal, the director of the resort (Chef the village) is a true host! May the fitness instructor is outstanding in...

To me, Club Med used to mean safe food to eat. I've been to other Club Meds before, and never got sick, nor did I ever see or hear of someone getting sick from eating Club Meds food. But in Punta Cana, it's a different story. Maybe because it is a kid's club, maybe because it's one of the largest...

We returned yesterday from six days at this resort. It is our fifth visit over eight years, and our second Club Med experience (the first being Sandpiper in Florida). During our visit, I heard people say how this resort was receiving many negative reviews on TripAdvisor that ranged from vermin to language barriers. I couldn't believe it so I had...

My husband and I joined 4 friends whom we see rarely and needed to catch up. We lunched and dined together, did different sports and no sports during the days and had a wonderfully relaxed time. Food was good. We drank only bottled water or their club soda and did not eat salads -- but found enough cooked veggies to satisfy....

Our first time to a Club Med resort was great... The food was excellent - many choices for adults and kids - The kids liked the Kids Club activities. Enjoyed being exposed to many new languages and new experiences. The Kids Club allowed us to have some fun time for parents as well. Would do it again.

I am not really one to write reviews, but I feel compelled to write one here because I was very nervous about going to Club Med Punta Cana after reading some of the reviews here. I have to say for those of you that might be worried - do not be! It is a wonderful place. Full disclaimer - we...

I just returned from a one week stay. This was our third year in a row at this resort. We vacationed with two other families. It appears that Club Med has cut costs over the past year. I noticed significantly fewer western G.O.s and more local staff. That’s not necessarily bad, but the local staff doesn’t appear to create the...

We traveled with our children and grandchildren and it was everything we hoped for. Tennis - snorkeling right off the beach - kayaking - the covered kiddie pool and playground right next to Hispaniola so when the little ones were tired of the restaurant we could just stroll over and let them play. We ate and drank everything - one...
