My first time in the Dominican was a huge success. Our butler, Randy was very nice and made sure our stay was an excellent one. He was in constant contact with us and gave us his personal number so we could ask for something if we needed it. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Also, Portofino was my favorite restaurant!

We visited this beautiful resort in July and received a warm welcome as travel club members. Check in was very smooth at the travel club lounge.Cecelia was a great concierge. I would like to thank Elvi at the travel club who was always there with a smile to help us with anything we needed. A big thank you to Wanda too for her wise words of advice. Restaurants We were very impressed with the restaurants at the TRS. We loved having breakfast and lunch at Helios every day. The buffet options are tasty and you can also order from the a la carte. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food at La Boheme. I liked how the dancers would sometimes come in too. Loved the steak at Helios, and the pasta. Kusko was also excellent. We enjoyed the lobster at Caprichio. The staff at the restaurants are wonderful and I cannot praise them enough. A huge thank you to Wilkin, the food manager at Helios at breakfast. He arranged a wonderful anniversary meal for us at La Boheme, he is a real credit to the TRS. The chef Marc was so attentive, he came out to talk to us and cooked us a delicious meal. Also a huge thank you to David the food manager, I enjoyed our Amy Winehouse chats, and you always looked after us at Helios and Caprichio. We looked forward to seeing you. Thank you to Andres the food manager at Kusko. We would like to give a special mention to the sommelier Gustavo who was fantastic and made sure we had a wonderful bottle of wine with our meal at La Boheme, we also loved how he presented the wine it was very theatrical. Your special medal and apron were lovely. Thank you to the wonderful staff , Ramoncita, Chavely, Kiomara, Daniel, Angel, Anito, Emilio and Luis, at Helios and other restaurants in the evening, thank you so much. You made every meal a pleasure. Thank you to Dolores the TRS pool server, for her lovely welcome every time she saw us. Thank you also to the lovely ladies who greeted us every morning, I miss you Stephanie and your team. We enjoyed the facilities at the spa, especially the hot tub, cold pool, and mud treatment area. The pool was beautiful. Thank you to the ladies in the juice bar who always served my husband Vincent. The reception staff were also great. The massages are wonderful. We had an amazing ambassador suite in building 50, which had a beautiful view of the TRS pool. Our butlers were fantastic, thank you Felix, Francisco, Rosa, Melkhi and Margee you are amazing. Thank you for everything, you were always there for anything we needed. Thank you also to Juan in building 51, who we met, he is so smiley and friendly. It was also lovely to meet Patricia the lady in charge of the butlers, she also gave excellent service. A huge thank you to our special friends Joel and Stalin at reception, you made every day special. We loved talking to you and thank you for your excellent friendly service, you are a credit to the TRS, we can’t wait to see you again. Thank you also to Merlin. We just returned from a one-week stay at TRS Turquesa to celebrate our anniversary and we loved it! We had a swim-up room, which I highly recommend. The seats at the main pool do tend to fill up very early and the pool by our room was always quiet and relaxing (and the bartender, Angel, was the best)! The Secret Pool is also a fun option when the main pool is full - we were always able to find a spot there and ended up there much more than the main pool. All of the pools and pool bars are gorgeous and the main pool has activities and workout classes throughout the day. If you are hoping to spend most of your days at the beach, this may not be the place for you - the beach seating is very packed and also fills up pretty early. We never actually sat on the beach, so I can't speak to the service or anything, but we did like the beach bars. We liked Helios for breakfast and the grill outside Helios for lunch (typically had chicken, burgers and hot dogs). We liked every restaurant we went to for dinner, but did notice that the service was much better at the TRS-only restaurants than those at the main resort. Kusko was hands-down our favorite, and we really liked Caprichio too. The room service food we found was hit or miss - but it always came right on time which we appreciated! We were surprised to see that so few people tipped the bartenders - we just gave a dollar or two each time we ordered, and all of the bartenders were very appreciative. This also helped us get to know the bartenders better (which led to quicker service and stronger drinks, although these were both already good to begin with) If you get a swim-up room, I highly recommend getting the floating breakfast one morning. It does cost extra but we loved it and actually wished we had done it a second time. All in all, while the resort was not perfect, we had the best time and are already planning on coming back! Our butler, Providencia, was also the best and even decorated our room and gave us cake and champagne the day of our anniversary! …

Lovely place to stay. All staff very helpful. We would like to thank our butler, Carlos. All the gardens are kept immaculate. There is a great choice of food. The buffet restaurants cater for everyone and the food is always presented well.

Service was excellent starting from the time we arrived. We were greeted and got to our room quickly. Butler service was outstanding. Providence has been our butler several times and we are so pleased when we have her as a butler. She goes above and beyond. The room was great and so was maid service and mini bar service. The restaurants all had great food and service. Jose Luis and Juan at Capricho are our favorite people. They are very attentive and make you want to return night after night. We have been coming to this resort for 20+ years and will return next year.

Great time! Food was very good & varied, fun daytime and night time activities without being annoying, butler service was great (props to Deifrey), would recommend Chic Caberet (worth every penny of the upcharge) & the pool service was outstanding! Special thanks to Delores who took great care of us from Day 1 around the pool! I watched her handle a couple of really drunk obnoxious guests with such kindness and professionalism! Would highly recommend this resort!

TRS will fondly be remembered for it's beach access, restaurants and manicured grounds. The highest praise however, goes to their staff. We had butlers Rosmilka and Eury at our service. Rosmilka ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. As this was my first trip to the Dominican Republic, Rosmilka made sure that I had my eticket, met with my AirTransit Rep, and even met us at our checkout time to ensure we had our bus booked for our return trip to the airport. Eury, bless his soul, would get up from his chair every morning to greet us as we left our hotel complex for the beach. He asked us if we were enjoying ourselves, if there was anything we needed or wanted to ask. TRS staff are pleasant, jovial and always helpful whether they are your butler, chambermaid or waiter. They made our stay enjoyable. Heads up, don't wear your sunglasses in the ocean; you might be buying a new pair.…

We had such a wonderful stay at TRS Turquesa! Blikenson was a fantastic host of lots of great games and aerobics. Dolores was our server around the pool all week and she was incredibly attentive and kind. Our butler Deifry was so helpful, even texting us on her day off to make sure we were taken after (not expected of course, but really showcases her above and beyond service!) Jose-Luis makes the best mojitos at the pool bar. The food, pool, and landscaping were all gorgeous but the service is truly what sets this place apart!
