A fairly nice resort with a well meaning staff but inept management and poor service for the price. A drink ordered on the beach can take 45 minutes to arrive. The waiters don't seem to know the menu and although they try hard, they really are not trained in good service. The beach is alright, but is bordered on both...

Dear Sir/Madam, As the general manager of Casa Colonial first of all let me apologize because evidently you did not have the experience you expected during your stay in our resort. On the other hand I have to disagree over many of the events you wrote about. Please believe me when I say that we invest a lot in the...

My boyfriend proposed to me on a catamaran and surprised me by booking a room in this amazing hotel to spend an incredible honeymoon-like night. We were welcomed by Freddy who did everything to make our stay the most enjoyable. I had no idea we were going to this fancy hotel and even if we arrived in our soaked short...

My wife and I were originally booked to stay at the Sivory Punta Cana Hotel, another Small Luxury Hotel of the World, but after reading many negative reviews on that hotel and not getting anyone to return my calls after 3 times leaving a message, we were able to get our travel agent to change our reservation to Casa Colonial....

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Colonial for 5 days, as a part of a 2 weeks stay on the island, and we wished we had booked the entire stay there.... This hotel is a little and unknown Gem in the middle of the "all inclusive factories" of the island. although not managed by any of the usual...

This hotel really IS a destination in and of itself. My husband and I and our 8 month old daughter visited for 8 days, and barely felt the need to leave the property! The staff was warm and friendly, the rooms airy and beautiful and the public spaces (pool and lobby/dining area) an invitation to total relaxation. Just half an...

Excellent hotel with a charming beach - although cramped between neighbouring hotels (one of which was fond of loud music and entertainment at night). We can only confirm all the great things written previously about this hotel. However, there was one pro too many for us. We were fortunate to stay when the hotel was relatively quiet. Perhaps as a...

From the moment we stepped off the plane, we knew this was going to be a fabulous holiday! As established with the reservation manager, a driver was waiting for us to whisk us away to the beautiful Casa Colonial. We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we arrived and offered warm towels and a beverage, as a "freshen up"...

We just got back from a great vacation at the Casa Colonial Hotel. I did some investigating on many travel sites. I was looking for a small, great looking vacation hotel with character. I love to walk around, and be part of a beautiful space. Also a hotel that was not to far away for easy traveling. Of course a...
