Perfect place to relax! On weekends, it get really busy just like anywhere else due to locals visiting, but weekdays are perfect! We stayed by the beach everyday. It is well maintained and lots of coconut trees. Many thanks to Evelissa, Yudy, Margarita, Vianelka at the front desk go are always smiling and happy to greet everyone. Raul who is genuinely helpful to anyone he meets. Shout out to Julio at the Italian restaurant and Salvador at the buffet for being sincere and kind (reminds me of my sweet uncles 😆). To Radelmy, Chocolate, Spaghetti for a good laugh and Evelyn who cleaned our room. We cannot thank you enough for making our vacation flawless! We will be back soon 🌊☀️🏝️

The entertainment staff are the best. Frujolito, donkey and spaghetti were outstanding. They kept us entertained our entire stay. Accomodation could’ve been a little better but overall it was pretty great.

All the bad reviews freaked me out but I was pleasantly surprised. The property itself was very nice and well-maintained. The beach was lovely but there is a lot of dead coral so take some water shoes. Staff were friendly and housekeeping did an amazing job on our rooms. We did not bring 220-volt adapters but our housekeeper brought us two within a half hour of our arrival. The pools are nice though we preferred the beach. Put a towel on your lounger early in the morning before breakfast or you will not get one!!! The food is the food. We did not starve. Do not go expecting 5-star cuisine. The beds were clean and comfortable bathroom is older but clean. Our toilet stopped flushing but was fixed very quickly. It was not until our last day there while removing items from our safe that I realized the whole mechanism where the key goes just popped right out!! Nothing went missing from our rooms but keep an eye on that. The worst part of the trip and my only real complaint is the pressure from the Timeshare people. They got mad at me when I did not want to purchase anything. Put a bad taste in my mouth. If they are offering you an exclusive breakfast at the Senator and a ride in a golf cart...RUN!!! Took five hours out of my vacation. If you're into timeshare and buy a package I think they upgrade you to the Senator resort. The timeshares are beautiful but I don't go there for the room I go for the warmth the beach and the drinks!! This is a good budget resort and I think good value for the money we spent.…

I love how kind and helpful was every single employee specially the buffet staff, the chef Rafael Pena he always make us feel like home!!! thank you for everything, also the housekeeping staff was amazing everyday they will clean the rooms with some special design!

Cons: The food was not good. Not sure what kind of meat is being used.. No Wi-Fi in rooms, Wi-Fi is only in curtain parts of the lobby, Rooms do not look like the internet, water is brown, you’re warned not to drink it. Tv only in Spanish except TNT and the USA network, Timeshare people will be waiting on you.. Pros: Property itself is very beautiful, Beach is beautiful, Rooms are kept clean, Staff was nice. When reading the other reviews I got a little nervous leading up to my trip. While this wasn't the best resort it was not the worst. The resort was very clean, you would see someone sweeping or mopping all the time. The rooms were out dated and smelt musty but not un-livable. Internet only in lobby, AC only in rooms. Room keys were physical keys bring a wrist band and key ring to keep key from being lost and that 2 people can carry a key. As for the food the variety was good but nothing special or to die for. By the end of our trip our stomachs couldn't take much more Dominican food. Only went to the A La Carte restaurant once as the once time we did one of our party members got food poisoning. On weekends the resort gets very busy. Line up 15 mins before lunch/dinner time to prevent waiting in long lines at the buffet. The entertainment team was good, we were there during off season and a lot of the guest were locals so most entertainment was mostly in Spanish. Espaggetti was cool! A huge shoutout to Fabio! He was the best bartender on the resort, always serving us first and made the best drinks! Overall this is a good budget resort!
