The hotel its self was fine , clean enough room. A lot of maintenance issues though. Our toilet didn’t work and they couldn’t move us rooms as the resort was too full. Food was good. Entertainment was good. All in all resort doesn’t have a wow factor so wouldn’t return. It’s not terrible , just “meh”. DO NOT do the time share tour , it takes up half of your day & they ask for anywhere between three and thirty thousand USD. “Ask” is a light way of putting it “badger” you is more like it.

The place is very beautiful and luxurious. One of the nicest places I’ve been to. Saw flamingos and the food was pretty good. Service is excellent . Beach front property. Time share salesman are pushy.

Today experience changed my overall view of lifestyle. Today at 11:30 am as exciting the resort, my guess a local had made it from the grounds without her cutting of plastic braclet. Conversation took place where the managers and I could not agree. I proceeded to move towards my bags and 1 security guard grabbed my suitcase and tried to threaten me with physical Violence. Believe it. I pray there are cameras , so it can be seen and brought up. I did not back down or move away as I told the security , do not make treats because fear is not what I have of him. I was told I must give up 200 american dollars to take my luggage with me as it was my last day to be on the grounds of lifestyle hotel confiesa palm. If any has any questions, please post and ask me as this should not be allowed

Let's first start off with the hotel telling me that I needed to schedule transportation from the airport to the resort 14 days before travel. It was kind of interesting because it was in very small, fine print. When I finally realized that,I emailed the transportation services and let them know that I will be landing in 12 days. They sent me a confirmation that the resort will be able to be pick me and my spouse up from the airport. They also informed me that if my flight got delayed to let them know 24 hours of my flight being delayed. Well my flight ends up being delayed and I messaged them right away which I was within the 24-hour time frame and they told me that transportation services could not pick me up. They informed me that I will have to find my own way from the airport to the resort. The resort is 45 minutes from the airport. It was such an inconvenience because we had to pay a lot of money from the airport to the resort when indeed I was confirmed for a pickup in the beginning from the resort. The next incident I accidentally spilled a glass with some alcohol in it in my room and instead of bothering housekeepers at 2:00 a.m. I decided to use a towel and get it up off the floor. The next day I told housekeeping that if they could come up because I had spilled a glass with some alcohol in it and word got back to the front desk immediately and they wanted to charge me $40 for a towel. Stating that the stain will not be able to get removed. I've never heard of such a thing. I'm not sure what they wash their towels with out here but where I'm from we wash them in a washing machine. Housekeeping came to the room and mopped the area where I had spilled the alcohol when I came back to the room, I noticed that it smelled like tons of alcohol in the room. Well, the housekeepers had left the towel full of alcohol in the corner . So I went to the front desk and ask for more towels as my husband and I went to the beach and did some outdoor activities and was real sweaty and needed to shower. So we needed new towels for our showers. So I proceeded to asking the front desk if someone could drop some towels off to my room. Someone came to drop the towels off but they only gave me one towel. They were refusing to give me more towels unless I traded in the old ones. So I end up trading in the old ones and then they were not trying to give me new ones. So literally me and my husband were using one towel to share between the both of us. It was so bad that we didn't even have a towel to put on the floor and once I got out the shower I almost slipped and fell because of the wet floor from the shower. It just shows that this resort is not a good one and you should not waste your money coming here because their customer service is horrible!

Let’s begin with the most unfriendly receptionist at the front desk. Elizabeth Garcia should take a course or two on how to greet incoming guests. I was traveling with 3 small children, We arrived at 1:30 to hopefully try to use the facilities earlier even though we know rooms are normally given at 3pm. We were told that we couldn’t go eat or use the pool even thought we had our reservation confirmation because we had to wait for the wrist band to be given. We were told we had to wait until 3 pm , and we did, but even after waiting past 3pm our rooms were still not ready. But let me just give you a little background. The reception area was uncomfortably hot full of guests also waiting to be called to be able to check in. And after waiting 2 hours to be told out rooms were still not ready. I wanted to loose it! And then once we finally arrived at our room, I was transported back to the 80ties . Very Old looking room. The bed is hard the floors are cracked, the bathroom are moldy and mirrors are stained . The room only had 2 towels I called receptions to ask for more since I also have my kids . They couldn’t even give me enough towels for everyone. Oh and before I forget the pool closes at 6:30pm. So check in is past 3:30 by the time you finally get to your room change and eat there is no time to even enjoy the pool because they close. I’ve never been to a tropical hotel where the pool closes so early. The 1st day is a total wast of time . One thing is for sure I will never stay here again or will I ever recommend this hotel. By far the worse hotel experience ever.

About the timshare. They will take you all around. Show you all this nice stuff but when they get you to the office and some higher up person comes to talk to you. The minute you stand your ground and say no and mean no. They will get up and leave you to get back to your room on your own. I went a couple years ago. By now I hope they upgraded them old rooms.

Worst resort I’ve ever been to. The service was horrible, food was nasty and very limited. No free internet! Have to pay for the Safe box! My room phone never worked. The shuttle bus from one hotel to another dropped us on the street and made was walk. If you are not a club member, you are made to feel insignificant . I am Dominican, and I am ashamed to even write about this place.

I absolutely loved this resort! Traveled as a group of 6. Four of us through our friends RCI the other 2 in our group booked through red tag. Stayed in a junior suite building 5 room 5112 the week of April 17th to 23rd. Our room was spotless spacious with a beautiful wrap around balcony facing the adult pool. I was impressed with the cleanliness and sanitation at this resort. The main dining hall the Casablanca is where we mainly ate at. The staff constantly sanitizing the table before and after you eat. The buffet is well laid out. The servers serve you food way more hygienic than other resorts I have been to. The food was served hot and fresh and plentiful. Fresh carved roast beef, quarter chicken, Turkey and pork. The pasta and pizza station delicious! Beautiful breakfasts with fresh omelettes and bacon whatever one could desire. Heinz ketchup, mayo, mustard packets available upon request. There are different themes there throughout the week. We dined at the Asian, Blue lagoon, Mexican and Moonlight restaurants. All where excellent. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had and the margarita and sizzling fajitas at the Mexican restaurant delicious! Beautiful pools with lifeguards watching the children all the time. Pool side activities where so much fun. We really enjoyed Dominican day. What I really liked about this resort where all the beautiful shaded beds at the adult pool and beach. We never had a problem getting a bed or pool lounger. Great for little ones you can let them lie down for a nap. They will bring you drinks and food to your bed. There are steps down to the beach. Beautiful beach but the waves can be powerful when you come into shore so be cautious with little ones. Fresh towel’s brought to you as soon as you arrive at the beach and clean fresh smelling towels readily available pool side. A couple of us used the spa services. They raved about the service and massages. There’s a duty free store, a little gift shop, and a small casino there as well. Photo shoots are also available. We saw lots of families having photo shoots. We did 2 birthday celebration dinners. The staff went above and beyond for us. They brought out a beautiful sparkling candle and sang happy birthday. One night at the blue lagoon they even came n played music for us. I almost teared up watching the video afterwards to see the sincerity of the staff with their birthday wishes. One of them gave my sister in law his blessings. I Wish management could of saw it! I never once felt tips where expected at this resort but we tipped generously as the services where so good! There is a shuttle bus that will take you to the other adjoining resorts. We went to 2 shows they where good. We spent most evenings hanging out at the pool bar. The cosmopolitan drinks there where so good. My only recommendation for management would be that more table chairs and bar stools would be nice as there’s limited seating next to the main lobby as well. And mimosas for breakfast would of been nice. Thank you Lifestyle Tropical resort and Spa for the most amazing week and to your staff for their hard work and excellent customer service! I can’t wait to come back again.

Words cannot describe on paper how terrible this resort truly is. Where to start? About a decade ago, my family decided to buy into the lifestyle vacation package. At first, when the resort initially opened, it was halfway decent. At the time was on the walls. I remember being very vocal about telling my family the future projection of the negative aspects would only amplify. I could instantly tell the business model is predicated on upselling at every opportunity, false promises to close deals, and closing parts of the resort off to you unless you have bought in. 10 years ago it was present, but wasn't overly apparent as it is today...Fast forward to July of last year. I brought my wife with me to celebrate my grandma's birthday at the property with the entire family and all i can say is wow. In the worst imaginable way possible. I was truly living what is nothing short of a vacation nightmare. From the shuttle disorganization to the check-in process which literally took 3+ hours for some odd reason. The guy who ran the villa check-in, was the same guy delivering a pizza halfway across the resort. Total lack of resource mangement. The waiters and waitresses are visibly burned out and they do not want to serve you. The working conditions are not the best for these workers as well as they are forced to work through the humidity and heat in long sleeves and pants instead of flowy attire. It feels very inhumane to be served at this property at times. I remember handing several workers water throughout my stay to ensure they didn't pass out from heat stroke. The resort grounds were in shambles. There were potholes, and a heavy lack of A/C through the property. The only area they sink revenue into for reinvestment would be the main center of the property where they bring clients to upsell them. I hope you're catching the drift of this place by now. The rest of the property was in shambles. I remember my cousin turning to me during a dinner and saying "what happened to this resort". The last night tops the whole vacation off when we were trying to enjoy cocktails by the pool with family and a lady comes flying out of her room balcony (floor level) and proceeds to hop into the center of the pool area and cause the most insane scene imaginable, stating somebody stole items from her room. Of course, management and workers did not try to stop the scene from ensuing or calm the lady down. It was basically on par with the classiness of the resort, so we weren't surprised. My favorite part of this resort was when I was actually able to leave. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, please take your hard-earned money and look elsewhere. There are many other resorts that charge about the same and offer 2x the value.
