If you don't need all the frills, then this hotel is good for the price. I wouldn't say it's appropriate for a family hotel because of the location. It has a great location in the middle of the historical district. The staff was friendly and helpful. They check all guest coming into the room which I don't mind. It doesn't...

I don't want to repeat all positive reports - they are all correct. The place is not that posh, but very nice, comfortable, in a very good location, a number of shops, food stores, bars and eating places nearby. What I want to strees is the staff, especially the guys at the recepion! Very friendly and helpful! Thank you guys....

The other reviews from 2014 very accurately describe this hotel so I won't repeat. I only want to add that I stayed here with my two sons and found it to be family-friendly. This can be a concern in RD where there are many budget hotels for lovers and/or that allow guests to bring back their own "guests". At this...

I stayed here for two days and really liked it. The hotel is right on Calle Conde, which is the main drag/pedestrian only street in the heart of the Zona Colonial. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable, with good AC, excellent WIFI strength and TV with many channels, including U.S., British, French and German channels in addition to...

I stayed here for ten days. I took a room with no window. The air con was PERFECT. freezing cold and it worked all the time. The bed was perfect as well. The staff are very helpful. The morning breakfast was simply a piece of toast with some cheese on it and some GREAT coffee with warm milk. There are...

Nice little hotel in the middle of all the activity in Zona Colonial. Despite the activity outside the hotel, inside the room is quiet and peaceful. Free breakfast was good when you felt too lazy to go out in the morning. Moreno, Isaiah, and Nancy were very helpful; even the owner, Baldemiro, once in a while stopped-by and gave good...

perfect if you want to see Zona Colonial. Very pocket friendly, Internet, cable TV. No restaurant but right in the middle of Zona Colonial so you get to shot, eat out and see around with ease.It might be noisy a bit from the reception but the noise doesn't get to the rooms.
