great friendly staff, do anything to help, offered us to sit in the courtyard because of the heat, nice cool cold beers, loved my time there, if you're coming off a cruise boat, just head straight across at the pier, you won't regret it

Georgiana will greet you with a smile, a nice cold beer, and discussion of American politics, the proper way to say the islands name and what to see and where to go! Just steps from where the cruise ship docks, there is a welcoming space! Free unlimited wifi makes a nice perk, as we have been charged for wifi elsewhere!

Fort Young was full so I had to use this hotel. Very basic rooms. Breakfast was not satisfying and no amenities to speak of. The service from the staff and the water views are the best part of the hotel. It's dated and really only recommend if you are on a budget and need to be in town for a... More

I am not going to tell you this hotel compares to a big city hotel but I will tell it was clean. It had no damp or mildew smells. The room was actually on the large size and the area is near a market and the cruise ports. The restaurant was nice, I had jerk ribs they were ok but... More

I was very impressed by the staff hospitality - front desk, room service, dining. A shout out to Nigel and Sylvester. They went out of their way to make my stay a satisfactory one. Service with a smile. There is no doubt that the hotel needs refurbishing but the rooms are clean. If you are looking for a hotel with... More

The staff was very nice. Nigel and Sylvester will help with whatever you need and if they don't have the answer it's a quick phone call to get you what you need. The air conditioning went off a couple of times but it was quickly dealt with. The 5th floor terrace was a great comfort as we sat out there... More

The guys on the reception were nice but the continental breakfast on the next day was like a bad joke. 2 slice of bread for two people a lil jam not enough for two breads. (One of us male and 2m hight) and the women who are working there unbelievable unmotivated. The room is an adventure and more or less... More

The adage, "Location, location, location" is perfect for this hotel. And the reason I recommend it! Nothing in the room stands out for me as exceptional. Big bed, pull out couch, A/C, ceiling fan, hot water, kettle, fridge. All nice things for two weary travellers to have in a hot and humid country. But the service was great. Everyone was... More

The Garraway Hotel isn’t as nice as the management photos indicate. It’s an older building. The bar inside extends outside and they sell beer and sodas on the patio. Pay for a drink and you get wifi. Signal is awful though and there are a ton of people trying to use it. Restrooms are yucky. You have a street view... More

We always appreciate comments which are balanced and constructive. Wifi signal can be low especially when hundreds of people are trying to get on as it is free which is a service provided to clients by the hotel. More

Facilities are basic and run-down as others are saying - for the cost per night you would think they can spend some money fixing it up! Shana on reception was extremely helpful when we were stranded after missing our cruise ship. Wi-fi worked but there were no iPhone charging options. The food in the restaurant was below average and the... More
