The completely renovated 18th century Bona Vista estate characterizes itself by the tropical atmosphere and relaxed living. It is situated in the old residential area of Mahaai which is one of the greenest and safest areas of Curacao. Because of the central location of the estate you are only 10 minutes away from the most popular beaches, beautiful bays and popular attractions. Supermarket, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. We offer 4 fully furbished houses. 2 houses have 2 bedrooms and private gardens, 2 houses have 1 bedroom and are situated by the pool. Car rental, breakfast service, airport shuttle and grocery service are also possible.

We recently spent a week at Landhuis Bona Vista, staying in the two-bedroom coachhouse. We loved our time there, relaxing on our terrace and spending time on the tranquil property. The pool was great, as was the outdoor sitting area. Room itself had plenty of space for two adults and two small children. Mirjam and the rest of the family were wonderful, communicating quickly and helping us out with a variety of needs (babysitting, groceries, etc). We'll definitely stay here again next time we return! Our kids miss the doggies ;)

Just love this place, pool and people. Beautiful surrounding and prefect to start touring around the island of Curacao. Will certainly go back and try to stay a little bit longer than we did this time.

Our family of 5 returned to the vibrant island of Curacao for a short visit. We arrived on the last flight of the day to be met by Mirjam at the airport just as we exited the airport. She provided a quick, informative tour on our drive back to the Landhuis where we found our private, well-appointed accommodations. We stayed in a converted shipping container that slept the 5 of us comfortably. We really enjoyed learning about how they reused the materials there on Curacao to create a cozy, functional 2 bedroom and one bath space. The beds are comfortable with AC and fan if needed and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Our favorite aspect was the outdoor kitchen that was well stocked and looked out onto a private garden with hammock and picnic table. Mirjam kindly had breakfast foods stocked in the fridge so we could prepare a leisurely breakfast the next morning. Kids and adults enjoyed cooling off in the clean, refreshing pool which is well stocked with floats and lounge chairs. Their two friendly dogs were comfortable around our energetic and often loud children. The location of Landhuis Bona Vista is ideal for easy access to many beaches, restaurants or visits to Punda/Otrabanda. In addition to a convenient location, we enjoyed privacy among the mature trees/gardens and felt very safe in the neighborhood of Mahaai. We have stayed at or visited many hotels, rentals and landhuises on Curacao. Without hesitation, Landhuis Bona Vista was our favorite destination!…

I stayed here for 1 week in December and I couldn’t have made a better choice. A nice, quiet and cozy place with a perfect location and great wifi. It also has a nice swimming pool. I stayed at the coach house which was clean, modern, spacious with all the facilities I needed. They also offer car rental service so I didn’t need to worry about that. The hosts, Mirjam and Folkert, were also really attentive and always helpful.I definitely would recommend this place. Overall, I had a great experience and will come back here again with my family!

We stayed here for 1 week to enjoy the island. What a fantastic place to stay: a very central location (nearby Willemstad Centre as well as the main beaches), a great swimming pool and a very friendly and customer service oriented family. We stayed in the Coach House which was very clean and spacious. The terrace of the Coach House was big and offered a lot of privacy. Mirjam and Folkert gave us a lot of sightseeing tips and we explored the island extensively. The place is very intimate and personal. We really felt at home. We rented a car at the B&B as well which was great and easy. We will definitely stay here again next time. Mirjam and Folkert, thank you for your hospitality.
