Detailed Reviews
So we spent 3 weeks in curaçao this year. We stayed the first week at Curacao Suites. We found the location excellent for being able to walk around Willemstadt. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was in spite of being off a busy street. The rooms were nice size and the beds were comfortable. The morning breakfast was excellent. The best thing was the staff and terrace on top of the hotel. The staff were pleasant, accommodating and went out there way to assist us with our needs. After our initial week here, we went to stay at an apartment that was totally unsatisfactory and the staff found a room for us on short notice to finish our stay on the island. The terrace was a wonderful place to view the city at night and was a great place to catch some sun or just sit and talk under the covered area. In conclusion, I will definitely consider staying here again in my future stays on curaçao.

I had an excellent stay, the people were great , Both friendly and attentive. The room left nothing more to be desired, all the usual amenities and outlet converters. The hotel itself seems pretty new and the location is great many of the tours and cabs etc everyone knows where the Keru Hulanda is and the curaçao suites and hotel is located directly adjacent to it.
It makes it easy to wander around town without ever feeling lost as there are two back alleys that lead from the hotel directly to the bus stop and the main shopping street.

We spent the first 3 days at Curacao Suites in Willemstad and found the hotel good for our price range. Walking distance to all the central city attractions. Our main-floor room was large with two queens. Breakfasts were abundant and good - all you would expect and more - eggs, meat, breads, fresh fruits, juices, etc. The outdoor plaza was lovely for breakfast and views. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only unfortunate things for the hotel is that it is right next to a busy overpass. I'm not used to noise so I wore earplugs while sleeping.

We had a good stay. The rooms are large, and the kitchenette is well stocked. There was even a hotplate in one of the drawers that we didn't expect. The location is good, it's a quick walk through the Kura Hulanda hotel to the Brion plaza and the pedestrian bridge. It's close to Punda but far enough away from the action to be reasonably quiet other than some road noise. There is a fairly substantial grocery store just under "Aruba street".
The staff we always welcoming and friendly. The kitchen staff kept a close eye on the breakfast situation and would make more if things were running low.
For the price it was a a good value. It's not a 5 star resort hotel, but that shouldn't be expected for the price. We'd probably stay there again...we just might try the other wing of the hotel to be a bit further away from the road.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel that's walking distance from all the lovely spots, this is it! The rooms are outfitted with a kitchenette so if you buy food you can reheat or chill it as necessary. The staff was friendly. If i'm ever visiting Curacao again i'm definitely staying here. I even got a discount for my stay!

This hotel is one of the best hotels in the city. It is about a 5 minutes walk from the city and it is not very crowded. It is very chill and relaxing. The crew is very nice and on point. Always attend and ready to help. If you are looking for a place that is nice and chill and close to everything, I highly recommend this place!!!!

first room with water coming from the top… after room change a damaged TV because of water coming out of the air-condition above the TV… last night was a extremely loud party music session straight behind the hotel… the people who manage this location are nice and helpful. maybe it is the difference between the standard we are used to know from Europe. it is totally different in Curaçao. Breakfast is also poor in comparison to European standard.

The Staff are very helpful, conscientious of clients needs and handle promptly.
Breakfast is ample and of wide choices. The service was extremely good. Have no idea where two of the travelers' stayed. Probably unfortunately met a subpar hostess who is no longer with the Hotel. It is a great value. I will definitely stay there again Above most hostels in its class...Al

Just terrible, the worst hotel we stayed in, EVER. No pool, although the search in Google suggests there is one. No elevator so you need to drag your baggage up the stairs. Everything is falling apart, dirty and old. We stayed in one room with our 11 year old, 3 people, only 2 towels. When calling 24/7 reception, no one picks up. We picked the hotel because of the location, which was the only positive thing about it. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, but you'll be lucky if there's any food available. The staff only cooks breakfast for 2, 3 people at the time. You expect to see some food offered, but plates are always mostly empty, regardless if you come for breakfast very early or at any other time. Disgusting place, stay away. No curtain in the bathroom window for privacy. Safety hazard when you enter the bathroom, I managed to hurt my toe. No shower door so you splash water everywhere. Only lukewarm water when showering. Electrical hazard wherever you look.

+1
Stayed 1 night. Check-in was smooth, staff friendly. Hot Buffet breakfast was adequate. Wifi ok, room spacious with refrigerator and magnetron, but some wear & tear noticeable. My room was adjacent to a main road and sound of cars could be heard when in bathroom. Some tripping hazard when going to bathroom. There is free parking, but only limited space. Hotel is a good budget friendly option if you need to be in that area. It is Walking distance to Renaissance hotel, but when walking alone at night not everyone might feel safe doing so.

As others have stated, there is a small grocery store just down the steps and across the street, however there are 2 small grocery stores I used probably about 5 miles away.
As for a pool, I would not know as we went to the beaches everyday, I think we were at about 12 beaches in 7 days.
VIP Room we stayed in was great. # 101
