This property is not a guests friendly. Not worth it if you’re about to enjoy a vacation. Not worth it if you’re about to enjoy a vacation. Took 3 days to fix an elevator, now there is no air conditioning in the main building (26F inside the room). Food is so so and not much of a choice. Pool is not clean and no showers available. The list can go on and on… can’t wait to get back home.

OMG I AM NOT SURE WHERE TO START AND FINISH… Never’ve been in such a place in my life. No one meet and greet you upon arrival so go figure what to do yourself. There is no actual beach but small man made lagoon, the pool is dirty and NO-ONE ever take a water test so it is very uncomfortable to swim. Service? Haha there is no such a thing especially at the beach bar and food court. No liquor….available to purchase only (all inclusive package). There are no restaurants- as they consider the one on the sand to be a restaurant- this is a joke as everything else. To get tested for COVID needed to return to USA you have to take a taxi to the lab…additional $50. No bath towels, hair shampoo/conditioner in the room and you have to request it….. I guess this is for European tourists only, not for Americans….sorry

We decided to book the hotel in advanced after reading various mixed reviews from different sites. Why is checkin time so overwhelming delayed and no reservations for restaurants to book during our stay?! People come here to enjoy and celebrate occasions and have to end up eating at the boring buffet everyday day of their trip?! Where is the customer service for a hotel that is supposed to be 5 star rating! If that’s what you want then come here!

This hotel seems to still be fairly new with a lot of kinks still being worked out. Check in was long process because of limited staff and we were glad we arrived on a off peak day. While getting our room keys I inquired about dinner reservations and I was told all restaurants were booked already. So I made a fuss about it because there was no way I was going to eat buffet food for 4 days so they were able to give us one night at the Italian restaurant. I checked into my room located in building 2. My room was okay. It had a sea view and a very large large terrace facing a smaller quiet pool. It appeared clean but the bathroom had a lot of hairs on the shower walls. I was grossed out by this. The bed was very comfortable and there is a welcome plate of fresh fruit and wine. However the inside of my mini fridge was dirty so I didn’t use it. The rest I’m gonna break down in pros and cons: Pro 1. Although it’s a large property, nothing is really too far. 2. I found select staff to be amazing and really went out of their way to make sure we had a nice time. Big shout out to Miguel, Rey, Edwin, Carrella and Denise at the beach kitchen. 3. The cigar lounge is very nice and comfy. They have premium liquor (for a fee) and a nice selection of cigars. 4. The pool is lovely in the morning. 5. The beach is okay but small. It would be better if they had servers taking drink orders. Con (This list is long) 1. The bathrooms do not have wash clothes, Kleenex, and other amenities most “resorts” offer 2. You can order the same drink from 3 different bartenders and it will never be the same. It will always be missing something or a additive that shouldn’t be there. They really need more experienced bartenders. The bar gets very crowded so be prepared to wait. 3. This hotel accepts day camps from local schools. This is not indicated and surprising to see. This was the worst part of the trip. It was pestering and no one was controlling their wild play. They should have security monitoring the pool since there is no separation for adults and kids. The kids really were wild and it was extremely annoying. The constant diving and splashing when grown ups are trying to relax was frustrating. It was like being in a amusement park. 4. The food is not good in the buffet and most gets recycled into other meals throughout the days For example, the breakfast potatoes seem to become dinner potatoes if no one eats them in the morning. Even the specialty restaurants are just the food from the buffet dressed up. 5. Staff is selective with who they chastise for not following Covid protocols. If you’re one type they say something and try to embarrass you and if you’re Dutch suddenly they don’t see you getting food without gloves or not wearing a mask at the buffet line. 6. Alot of the staff have attitude problems. They are not friendly and very rude. This was great for me because I didn’t spend as much money tipping like I would in other hotels. The resort isn’t terrible but it’s definitely not for me. They need more help and quality control. In any event, I would never stay here again.

Rooms are nice, pool is okay but too busy, main food court has decent food but is messy and sometimes dirty, and the restaurants are booked out several days in advance. The biggest problem is that there is not enough staff. There are queues for EVERYTHING: Reception, guest services, coffee bar, pool bar, regular bar. The current staff are lovely but they simply can't handle the amount of people.. The concerning part is that the hotel is apparently only half full! There's no way this place maintains 5 stars at this rate. We're only a short stay into our trip and I hope something changes, but if you're thinking about booking here then my advice is to look elsewhere
