Lets start by saying in 2015 I fell in love with the Dreams brand. I was excited to visit this property as I thought my prior experiences would be matched. The room was fine, the beach was small but fine BUT the price per person that we pay should be refunded to me. There were 3 restaurants including the buffet in which were not always open at the same time. The buffet which I thought would be my savior was not. The selection was small and the food was always cold. I visited the italian restaurant and ordered lasagna. The lasagna had no cheese and was 3 lasagna noodles stacked with hamburger helper. The saving grace was the 2 times we ate hamburgers at barefoot grill. The coco cafe is stuck in the gift shop and has little to no selection. The money that I paid dreams to feed me was wasted as I had to buy EDIBLE food off resort. I am not one to leave these sort of reviews but listen to me when I say I will NEVER stay at another dreams resort.

We went for a same sex marriage. Everyone was extraordinarily welcoming, supportive, engaging, attentive. Drink bars only had one frozen (ice crushing) machine so obtaining frozen drinks was only available at one location, overwhelming bar tenders. A machine at each location is needed.

We went to this resort for a special occasion and spent a lot of money for an all inclusive resort and we got nothing of that sort. We were 6 people total cost 15000$ to leave rent a car and go out to eat and drink when we had paid for us to eat and drink. I would never go back again I hope unless you pay 1000$ then perhaps it’s fine because the island is so beautiful and has amazing beaches to see and good food outside at fair prices

Do not waste your time or money at this “all inclusive” resort. There were only 2 restaurants open each night and we were turned away from one the second night we were there. Horrible service, the staff are miserable and rude, the website falsely advertises that they have multiple options for food and restaurants but they are never open (perhaps there’s a staffing issue… I don’t know). The only nice thing was the pool, but there’s no swim-up pool bar (another falsely advertised thing on their website). The beach is small and rocky (bring water shoes). Knowing what I know now, I’d save money and stay somewhere else that isn’t all inclusive and closer to town (walking distance), since that’s where everything is… In all honesty, we don’t plan to return to Curaçao. We’ve always loved Aruba and thought we’d give curacao a try, but the people are not happy on this island like they are in Aruba. We will stick to Aruba 🇦🇼 our “one happy island” where they appreciate their guests and make you feel like family. But to each their own..

My travel agent told me it was a new resort. After checking in and seeing the condition, I googled it. Dreams Curaçao may be under new ownership but there was nothing new about this resort. There was no sign of construction. I think my family all felt dismayed by the condition. Here are notes from some of our discussions: 1. Mold on the ceiling 2. Musty rooms and hallways 3. Dirty sheets 4. Mold around the rim of the sink, housekeeping tried to clean it but that was there for too long 5. Dirty walls in the rooms 6. Damaged toilet seats and flush buttons were either broken or nonexistent. 7. Water leaking from the ceilings 8. No hot water in the shower which was temporarily fixed and started to run cold again. 9. Ragged window curtains. For curtains to be frayed and have holes, they must not have been changed in at least 20 years. 10. The meals were horrible. Basically, they served the same recipe of the fish, chicken and shrimp. During family style dinners, there was never enough to share at the table. My husband said this is the first all inclusive that when he returned home he had lost 1 lb. I saw the kitchen stay serving special dishes to their visiting friends. However, Diego in charge of the concierge group was amazing. I can go on but I think you get the point that unless some upgrades are done, you should skip this resort.

Nobody took the blame of the missunderstanding that the staff got! I booked to spend my whole weekend since friday & the next saturday morning they asked for me to leave because the hotel was full & they needed rooms ,but the night before they confirmed with me for the whole weekend TOOK my money for not even 24 hours in THAT place! I couldve gone to a whole lot of other places most expensive ones i dont care to PAY but i dont like ABUSE & misstreatment & missunderstanding. But i would not recommend nobody else this place. For the first time ive gone through this! I’ve been around the world but at this place? The service i got? NOT FOR ME ANYMORE!

Had a great stay here, no issues at all. If you plan to travel make sure you rent a car to get around the Island (not a scooter) it's way cheaper anyways. Beaches are beautiful, people are great. Watch out for begging people downtown they will ask you for money or to buy them a drink, but overall you will have a great time here

Dreams Curaçao has much to go for it and a couple of rather frustating flaws. The building and the landscaping all look very good. The beach is small but still very pleasant. The pool was slightly warmer than the ocean, but the ocean water is so crystal clear that it is hard not to spend the day in it. The lobby is welcoming. There are plenty of places to sit and relax and plenty of towels available throughout the day with no annoying sign-in procedure. There is a lot of shade--both from canapies with palm fronds and from the many trees on the property. But... First, for a resort of this quality the dining selection is limited, particularly at dinner/supper time. There are three restaurants which basically have the same menu every night, so over the course of a week most people will end up eating the same thing at least twice. The food is good--well prepared and well-presented. The service is somewhat slow in all of the restaurants; staff are friendly but very laid back. On one occasion there were only two servers in the Portofino restaurant which was almost full. Needless to say service that night gave slow a whole new meaning. Housekeeping was a bit spotty. The public areas were well kept and frequently cleaned. We had to ask to have housekeeping our first day and we never got the nightly turn down service (which didn't really fuss me as I don't need a turn down to be able to get into a bed). The rest of the time the daily housekeeping tended to happen quite late in the day. Perhaps the most incredible "but" is the total absence of anything other than house wine. There is a common wine list for all the restaurants; it is incorporated into the on-line/app-based menu. On our second night we wanted to order a bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc in Portofino. This caused our server a degree of angst and she told us she would have to get the in-charge to come and talk to us. He told us that there were NO wines available off the wine list and that the wine cellar was--and had been for some time--effectively empty so he couldn't offer us an alternative other than the house wines which were really nothing to write home about. We spoke to the General Manager the next day who claimed not to have been aware of this situation--that it and of itself almost beggars belief: if I was the GM and my food and beverage manager had not told me that there was NO wine in the wine cellar, my F&B manager would be looking for another job today.

Food and drinks were horrible.Staff not friendly and not knowledgeable.Some things on ground were broken & lobby bathrooms smelled. We paid for all inclusive and most nights some restaurants were closed, they tell you that you can get room service but after a certain time (12:00 am) the I pad doesn’t work for room service and when you call it doesn’t even ring so you can’t get room service all night and it f you do get it it’s not what you order.
