Hotel's Favorite
Amazing location, food and service, but mostly super safe now during COVID. Great safety measurements and everything is still open! No face masks and just the perfect, relaxing holiday with 2 (or 3?) amazing pools! We all had to do a test right before flying, so this holidays feels safer than walking om Central Station in Amsterdam! Rooms are amazing, ocean views are really oceans views, but ocean front is even better. Everything is super clean and after many times on this island I really should say the crew is the kindest one of this island. We went to many other hotels, but here there are professional and kind in the perfect way. From the restaurant-staff till the managers or the owners; they all make sure this holiday is perfect and safe. Maybe its because we came out of quarantaine, but really; food at Hemmingway was surprisingly good. Its so nice to sit at the restaurant, on the beach, with so many different quests; families, locals, couples, people travelling alone. I didnt expect so many quests already! Made no pictures, too busy enjoying this amazing holiday.

The people at the resort were super helpful and welcoming. They accommodated for a very big group of us for 2 weeks. Our stay was amazing. Erica and her team were fantastic and we would love to visit again. The location is super, divine views and close to all the little beach bars, restaurants and shops. We are so pleased to have chosen Lion's Dive. Also very reasonably priced.

There are so much great things to say about LionsDive Resort. The variety of restaurants were great and varies with cuisine and service. The daily shuttle bus to town was a great convenience. That allowed us to go to town a few times. Also the hotel was a stop for one of the large supermarkets. That allowed up to easily purchase food and other items for or week's stay. The long Olympic size lap pool was amazing. The smaller pool were great for kids. The best part of the resort is the fact that it is protected by a long rock barrier which create a fantastic pool of water that is calm and not pounded by heavy waves. This also allowed for great snorkeling to see the coral and tropical fishes. The overall staff service was good, however, the only thing I would like improvement on is getting consistent coffee pods for our room to use with the coffee machine. I had to go to the front desk request more coffee pods. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.

After staying at The Royal Sea Aqurium Resort (See my review) it was finaly time to stay at Lions Dive Beach Resort. We stayed here for 10 days a enjoyed our stay. The staff was really nice and helpful. We even got our room 5 hours before we was suppose to. The Room: A nice at beautiful room (Run of the house). I guess we were lucky to have an little extra privat balcony from our room. Other rooms just had 2 chairs in the front, this was like a hallway terrace, without separation from the other rooms. Not a lot of people used this, but we did. We had 2 queen size beds witch i thought was a little small, but we managed. Cleaning every day and capsels for coffee was given to us every day. There was also tea. When the hotel area stops, Mambo boulevard starts. So if your room is close by there would be a lot of noise in the evening. But as our room was in the main boulding above the reception the only noise er had was from the birds and motorcycles on the street, but nothing that bothered us. You can drink the water from the tab without worry.   The Hotel: There is an ice machines in the hotel witch is very nice. Ther are a few nice restautants at the hotel. we do not think it is more expensive than the ones on Mambo boulevard. So we reccomend trying the different restaurants. We didn't stay at the pool areas, but it looked really nice. We spend the most of the time at the beach witch was really beautiful and perfect for snorkeling. On some days the different bars have happy hour but its ony on selectet items. The hotel has a dive center Ocean Encounters, they were helpfull and i has some great dives.   Surroundings: You can take the free bus to the supermarked, but if you dont want to wait for the daily bus or just missed it, there is a local supermarked 30 min walk from the hotel called Boulevard supermarked. We used this marked because a little walk is good for the health :-) We walked to Willemstad, it about 1 hour walk. You can also take the local bus for a few USD. A taxi is USD 20 each way. If we had to choose from LionsDive Beach Resort Vs. The Royal Sea Aqua Resort (witch was more or less the same price) Personally we prefer LionsDive even thougt there is more noise and no kitchenette. But there is more life and the beach is fantastic. But if you want a quiet place with a kitchenette and the beach is not that important The Royal Sea Aqua Resort is the place to stay. I would recommend to get a room faving the pool, here you have the best view both pool and ocean.
