Best place and hotel, staff is very friendly. I would like to go back there again. Recommend 💯 Food and restaurant blue is delicious seafood. Beach is excellent you can snorkel so close and see a bunch of fish.
Let's start with the location, this hotel is located perfectly, not fart from the airport and between the cruise port and the famous Mambo Beach. Talking about beaches, you don't need to go anywhere, this hotel have an amazing beach, actually two private beaches that are gorgeous and calm, thanks to the rocks that prevents rough sea water from coming in. The rooms are great, bed is cozy and comfortable, and I had small balcony. The restroom was clean and you have everything that you need. The hotel complex have two restaurants with amazing food and two bars with happy hour during the day. There is also live music. You will have beach towel and free sunscreen. The stuff is amazing, full with smiles and they will take care all of your needs at any time. They kept my luggage safe after I checked out, they let me stay at the beach for free, they called and scheduled taxi for me and when I locked the safe by mistake they immediately took acre of that as well. Get the breakfast in the hotel, there is variety of delicious food and bottomless mimosas and white wine. Also, the coffee in the room is amazing. If I even go back to this paradise I will only go to this hotel, its everything that you need.…
Room with a view at sea. Good breakfast and beautifull privat beach. Lot to see in the vicinity. Temperature seawater is pleasant. With a rental car there’s lots of possibilities to discover the island, e.g. beautifull beaches.
The hotel has everything a guest could wish for. The personnel is extraordinarily frindly and helps wherever it is possible. We've felt really welcomed since for example even the hotel manager had a little chat with us when he saw us. We had some issues with noise around our room because of a construction site but the management found a fitting solution for us which was very pleasing. Nevertheless, there are some things that could be improved: We often had to wait at the towel hut because the same person serving the towl hut was also responsible to serve the guests on the beach with drinks etc. For the next time we would expect some more stuff here. Also there are no signs in the room which you could hang outside the room saying things like "please do not disturb" oder "please make up the room". Thus, we never knew, when the housekeeping was coming or it came when we were still asleep. Something quite unhandy is the fact that one cannot adjust the temperatur of the air conditioning but only the intensity. So you had to go to the reception so a technician could adjust the temperature. If we'd be staying again in Curaçao, we'd surely chose Avila Beach Hotel again.…
We had an incredible stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to future guests. The beaching and lounging areas were great, plenty of shade and loved having service directly at my lounger. The rooms were a great size and the wifi worked extremely well throughout the resort. All of the amenities were top notch and so were the various employees working throughout the hotel. The hotel had all the amenities you could need including a shop, multiple restaurants, spa, gym, tourism desk, COVID testing onsite, etc. The location is a short 15 minute walk to the downtown and there were a number of great restaurants around the area as well. Any time we had a question or ask it was immediately actioned. When we visit again we will absolutely stay at Avila Beach Hotel again. We loved our stay and you will too!…
Our family visited Avila Beach Hotel during a stop in Curaçao on a cruise. We purchased day passes with lunch. This also included a free smoothie and bottle of water for each of us. Definitely worth the small cost! My kids also appreciated the free wifi! Hopped in a taxi at the cruise port for a short 10-15 minute drive to the hotel. The hotel and private beach are beautiful! We were able to use paddle boards and beach chairs at no extra charge. We also rented snorkel gear for about $8, which was quite reasonable. The staff were kind and helpful! We’d love to spend a week here!
The Avila Beach hotel has a long and rich history on the island of Curacao. We have been visiting the hotel and the beach for many years and are glad to say that it is still a unique in all aspects! <3
The location was great. Nice walk to Willemstad/Punda, a handful of restaurants just a short walk from the resort that were delicious with excellent service and the resort itself was beautiful. We enjoyed a couple beach days. Wonderful. I rated it a 3 because of customer service though. The restaurant there was awful. We waited 45 minutes for waters and almost a hour for someone to take our order. They messed up our bill and acted like it was our fault… the word sorry or any acknowledgment of mistakes by them is clearly not their way. It’s disheartening and they were a bit rude. We were wondering if we were just unlucky and then we met another family who had the exact same experience. Beautiful place but a smiling face and friendly workers would have easily bumped this to a 4 or 5. I shouldn’t feel like I’m an inconvenience……
I must say it was a great vacation staying at Avila. Even though we paid for an octagon room with a beach view we would up with a garden view. The locations of the rooms are very convenient to everything. The infinity pool is great and having access to both beaches makes relaxing super easy. There always seems to be plenty of beach chairs for everyone. No hot tub at the hotel. The food is ok for breakfast and lunch while enjoying a relaxing day at the hotel. But there are some great restaurants walking distance (kome, Serefina, ginger, mesa/canna to name a few) that you should check out for dinner. Also downtown williamstead is walking distance. They do have a few bus from the hotel that will drop you off and pick you up. There are 2 times that you can go or come back. The blues restaurant is not open every night of the week, Thursday they do have live music there. Saturday the Pen restaurant does a BBQ cookout. Wdays at 530am they do spray for mosquitos with backpack blowers so if your have a ground floor room it will be annoying sounds for 15-30 minutes. The gift shop is open until 9pm every night and has drinks, candy and snacks etc. Overall it was great and I definitely would come back. …
Wonderful hotel in a great location. Service is outstanding, room was a big and modern. Conveniently located within 20 walking minutes from the city center. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Breakfast buffet was totally adequate to the price. Highly recommend.
