Lovely hotel, great facilities and pool, the food is excellent and very friendly staff. The complex itself leads on to the beach which is a nice touch especially to catch the sunrise and sunset. Really enjoyed my experience.
we stayed here, our room was always clean, and a very beautiful view of josone park We were in the all-inclusive at Cuatro Palmas, but if you want to be close to the hotel you should buy a STdandard room in Cuatro Palmas, I don't recommend elderly people to be there, it's a bit far from the central resort My wife and I are very grateful for the service, the staff, Elimay Sosa, thank you for your attention and kindness.
the hotel is very clean and all personal are nice ! And you are the possibility to take the ultra luxury hotel with spa just next to the big hotel... I love spectacles in the evening because the dancers are professionals and exepcionals and I was a dancer 30 years ago ..! And a big than you for the director/manager who is very very nice and speak very well french ! ;) Kristine-seguier@gmail.com. Photographer pro. kristine.seguier. (instagram)
My wife and I booked this hotel for our first day in Cuba and our last day after touring Cuba. So the positive was a good choice for breakfast, that is the ONLY positive. So I was expecting to be part if the hotel amd complex however was treated as a third class guest as we were not all inclusive. Firstly they will not accept ANY Cuban Pesos anywhere and want Euros, dollars or credit cards. We ended up being sent to Las Palmas apartments down a side street away from the hotel, more like $20 motel room. The shower dribbled on full flow, the mattress was dirty, the safe did not have a door, main door nor patio door could be securely locked. The TV has barely any signal and could not be watched. When we arrived on our final day they would not check us in until 4pm after a 4 hr journey. We finally got our key from reception and had to wait for the Concierge who was Awol and we were kept waiting 20 mins, then the receptionist managed to walk 10 metres and open the door to retrive our luggage. So facilities very poor for us, unhelpful staff and grotty rooms, stay away!!…
Beautiful location and helpful staff, lots of activities during the day for all the age, and for the night as well. Every one is there to help you. Also lots of choices for the extra activities outside the beach
Hello loved it great service food was very good .what's nice walk out the front door right in the city. I traveled at least 14 years met such a nice woman from Ontario but all I have is her first name. Hopefully sum how can see her again? Thanks for my vacation even though I was not feeling well ..everyone made my stay a vacation I won't forget grazis thks
This was my first time in las Palmas which is part of the starfish Quatro Palma resort. It is located on the 60 th street which is about a 3 minute walk to the main hotel. I had 2 nd floor room (top floor) which was very clean and the ac was excellent. The service was great and a had 24 hour security for added safety. The location is excellent as there is the calle 62 club as well as the La cumparsita night club just at the end of the street if you enjoy night life.I have been to Varadero 14 times and stayed at different resorts every time. Las Palmas is the best location of all of Varadero. The beach is excellent as well as the nightly entertainment. The food is (6 out of 10) but no one ever goes hungry. It is Cuba. If this is your first trip to Varadero The double decker bus is a must $5 for an all day pass (hop on-hop off) and take the sight seeing tour around the town and see all the resorts as it stops at most of the major hotels. Stay on the bus as it will bring you back where you got on.It takes about an hour for the complete ride. Some of the nearby restaurants can be a bit pricey especially at the park, but it does give you an experience if you are not on a tight budget. There is also a place similar to McDONALDS where you can buy burgers/fries beer etc. for very cheap prices. The locals eat there mostly. It is around the middle of town 30-50 th street.Look and explore as things may change in the next few months with the CUC being discontinued. Enjoy and be safe.…
After booking we were kind of worried about what to expect, mostly due to some negative reviews of other guests on TA - but guess what - our stay there was absolutely marvellous! We were so glad we had chosen this hotel - upon arrival we upgraded to all inclusive at their mother “Cuatro Palmas”, with the friendliest staff we could have imagined, service was excellent from beginning till the end... could not have asked for anything better... they tried their hardest to make your stay as enjoyable as humanly possibly... well, perhaps regular tipping is the driving motor here, but hey, what the heck, live and let live, win-win for all... we will be back for sure!
The bungalows are more private. Seperated from the associated hotel QUATRO PALMAS. Other than the lack of hot water, common in the older hotels, my complaints are with the associate hotel and Sunwing tours themselves. I will not stay here again because of those other linked businesses. Tripadvisor and Quatro Palmas do not want my complaints on the review of Las Palmas but they are part of the experience and cannot be avoided. Very unfortunate. Read my reviews of the others.
Our 2nd floor room was within a couple of minutes of the main hotel Cuatro Palmas. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. All meals were served on time at Cuatro Palmas with a choice of buffet in the dining room, 2 a la carte restaurants, and a beach snack bar. Lots of choice of delicious food and drinks. The Main Desk staff, porters, security, and cleaning staff were all so charming, friendly, efficient and helpful as were the servers, bar tenders, and pool/beach attendants. The animators, dancers and musicians were out-standing as usual: so much fun, full of energy and smiles. It is obvious they all love working there and that good feeling is infectious. Lots of things to do: ride a sea kayak, join a dance class, dance to live music, join in a beach game, take a Spanish lesson, enjoy nightly entertainment…or just sit under a palm tree with a free mojito or walk for miles on the perfect white sandy beach. For me, this hotel has all anyone could want in a tropical vacation and it’s improving all the time.…
