A good hotel at a extremely beautiful environment. We arrived in the afternoon and the well was to dry for a swim. It was very hot, so we decided to look for horses to visit the well in the river for a swim. Just a few minutes to the farm a bit higher on the mountains we were received a...

This hotel is beautifully situated in the middle of nature. Despite this, the rooms are very nice and clean with a hot shower. There was a waterfall were it was possible to swim however there was not enough water coming from this waterfall anymore. The hotel offers walks trough the nature. Food was very good compared to other venues in...

Natural refreshing surrounding but without the mosquitoes. Fresh delicious food, excellent service. Air con is new, worked well and quiet. Massage was only 10 cuc for 30 mins, no frills traditional sports massage (kneading, cross friction etc) but good after trekking. Guided tours was informative. Loved it!

This hotel is not a hotel as you would think it is. When you see the last bit of road that brings you to it, you'll understand. Nothing impossible, just involves some driving skills :-) The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere, totally calm and quiet (we were there in off season, actually there must have been 4...

Once we had managed to arrive at the hotel (hard to find, the last 3 Km of the road are unpaved), we were informed that the waterfall and the natural pool had dried up several years ago, so there was no possibility to swim. The room was spacious, but rather old-fashioned and had an unpleasant smell. The refrigerator was dirty,...

We stayed here for one night on 2nd June 2015 as part of a tour of eastern Cuba. I thought we would never get there as the approach road has washed away in places and unless you had very accurate directions you would never find the place. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Prior to our arrival we had...

We stayed here 4 nights in late February. We had booked this place and paid for it because of the beautiful pictures of the waterfall and the 3 natural pools that we had seen on the internet and on youtube. When we got there,There was hardly any water in the fall and the so called natural pools were almost dark...

If I remember correctly, this hotel/resort used to be a retreat for party members. It certainly still feels like a retreat situated next to a gorgeous river, in between to mountains and covered with lush green jungle. It's like a little haven to relax and unwind. The beautiful area is really stunning. The little village just down the road doesn't...

Enjoying a beautiful mountain valley setting, this hotel is located at the end of a 70 mile drive from Santiago de Cuba, or 85 miles from Bayamo. The hotel consists of 4 apartment blocks, each containing 7 apartments. Each apartment is reasonably spacious with a veranda overlooking the river valley, and contains a good sized WC & shower room, air-con,...
