Stayed for 2 weeks. Room clean, decent breakfast of eggs, small pancakes, local fruit, and a breads, and other items. There is a lot of construction going on across the street, which is fairly noisy, and a night club across the side street which also provides loud music late at night, but the in window air conditioner helps to drown... We had a good stay. A big room and breakfast was okay. If you're looking for a nice and cheap place to stay, take your chance!! All the sight seeings nearby. It was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to reach te hotel due to costruction works in the street.

A very noisy hotel, the sound from the street and nearby clubs kept us awake. The rooms are dirty, badly in need of a coat of paint and the security of the door locks was doubtful. We got to the breakfast buffet right at 7:00 and it was fine. Those arriving later complained about a lack of selection.

Our tour group stayed here, our only hotel stay of the 14 day tour, thankfully. I was fortunate, since my toilet flushed, sink had hot water, and the shower functioned as well as most showers do in Cuba. I was also lucky in getting to the breakfast buffet as soon as it opened at 7am--others who arrived later were left... More

I rarely write on "bad" hotels, and prefer to tell people where they should go. In this case, I feel obliged to warn people not to make the mistake of staying here. There is no swimming pool, no elevator, no bar, no working PC (they simply don't sell the cards to make it work...) and no mantequila with the bread... More

The hotel "Isla de Cuba" is a situated close to the Center of Camaguey. As in every city that we visited a lot of reconstruction activities were carried out. And of course, some of those activities took place directly beside the hotel. Luckily, it was a holiday. The work was ceased for the day and started just in the early... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Cuban Adventures tour. The hotel is in a convenient location for the town centre but it is on a very busy intersection of streets so is noisy in the morning while at night loud music from a nightclub across the street continues after midnight. Our room was a good size,... More
