This is more of a hostel than the privacy and intimacy of a casa. Not realy near the centre and in the darkness of the evening quite scary neighbourhood. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Parking under the building in locked garage. Difficult to find - no name on building. Not worth price we paid through Dutch travel Agent.

As well as enjoying our very comfortable room, we loved the seating areas on the balconies which were festooned in the most beautiful plants. It was like being in the countryside rather than town. Miriam was a kind and helpful hostess and provided most delicious food. A great place to stay. Thankyou Miriam Miriam

Wonderful welcome, Miriam is kindness itself. The Casa is absolutely spotless and we had a lovely triple sharing room with efficient new air con and comfy beds. Private ensuite bathroom which was brand new. Best breakfast in Cuba as well - everything freshly made and fantastic fresh juices. I hurt my foot while I was there and couldn't go out... More

The rooms are excellent, exceptionally there is storage space for your stuff, hanging sace with hangers too! Beds are fine, en-suite bathroom fine too. Air-con and fan. Fridge with water/pop/beer. Miriam is a delight! She is friendly, helpful and easy to get on with. Be warned...breakfast is huge so, if like us, you eat on the light side let Miriam... More

Stayed here twice on this trip to Cuba. On the way to Santiago for 1night and on the way back to Havana for 2 nights. From beautiful, comfortable rooms to the best food we've eaten in a Casa. Huge, filling and delicious breakfasts and dinners. (More than we could eat!). I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay with Mirium... More

Miriam's House was a real surprise, as was Camaguey. We arrived by car. When we first pulled up, we were concerned that we would be too far from the old town. The walk was only about 20-30 minutes to Trabajadores Square and a full hour to the San Juan Square. So this may be something to consider. It did not... More

Casa Miriam is in a nice, safe-feeling, quiet neighborhood a 15 minute walk from the Centro Historico. It was a quick walk, and we liked being in a real neighborhood a bit out of the tourist fray. We stayed just one night, but would have loved to stay longer. Our room seemed like a great place to settle into. It... More

Had a lovely two night stay in very comfortable, clean, neat, air conditioned rooms. Both rooms were stocked with fridges with reasonably priced drinks. Nice bathrooms, water pressure &tempreture not bad for Cuba. We had hired a car and off street parking was available opposite behind an enclosed gate for 1CUC a night. The accomodation is a little way out... More

Where to start, This house is BEAUTIFUL. Both rooms are completely outfitted with all your needs, so clean and neat. Quite a bit of storage for long time visitors, a magnificent roof top patio scattered with beautiful pink flowers and unique pottery. Surprisingly quiet location. Not too far from downtown and plenty to see, minutes from a beautiful park and... More
