OMG was in Room 104, I knew it was a special room when I couldnt find the door. All thr others room had a single door with the number of the room. Well My room had Four yes 4 glass doors and the room number was off to the right side. Once I realized that was my front door and entered, OMG so beautiful, so large, so everything right. In the picture its behind the fountain. I did not find out it was the Presidential suite until I checked out the next morning, when the clerk said, :you had the best room in the hotel" your 2nd president stayed in that room while visiting from the USA. I learned it was Jill Biden who slept in the same room as I. we only stayed one might but it was nice. Breakfast was many foods to pick from as well as eggs your way. The waiter was very nice and made a picture of Art with whip cream in my coffee, so nice I didn't want to drink. but I did after taking pictures first. I did not get a chance to use the sunroof but it seem nice. I would stay but only if I could be in room 104 again. lol

Our tour spent a few days in Camaguey. Our hotel was beautiful, marble floors, fountain in the main courtyard. Although it was an older building we found it to be very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attended to all of our needs.

If you want to experience a close up look at how Cubans live, you will need to get away from both Havana, and the All-inclusive resorts.
Meals and accomodation are all “quite” basic...to say the least. Walking the town is both safe, and a true cultural experience. The population congregate in the center square, for access to basic Wi-fi.
You’ll be disappointed if you looking for Western style food, accomodation, or shopping, but not if interested in experiencing the actual Cuba.

Our group of 14 was re-directed to Hotel Sevillana after two other hotels in central Camaguey said they did not have room for us despite our reservations. Lucky for our group, we found Hotel Sevillana to be just fine. Had a room on the first level in the courtyard that featured high ceilings and windows. It had the charm of a historic structure but all the modern amenities (good functioning, adjustable air conditioner, armoire, good toiletries, etc.) Love that breakfast was served rather than buffet style in lost tourist hotels, added a nice touch. Only area of improvement: Didn't really seem to have a formal front desk. There was a staff person who literally sat behind a desk or table. But to be fair, the two staff members we had (one in evening and the other in the morning) were both cordial and efficient. I wish we had stayed more than one night.

Customer service was great, felt like home! The rooms were clean and renovated. Excellent location to experience the beauty of Camaguey. The food at the hotel restaurant was simply amazing, one of the best ones during our stay. Can't Wait to go back!

This hotel has been recently renovated and has some great features and updates. This colonial style hotel is centrally located and walking distance to all major squares. It has one of the best restaurants in town where the food was simply exceptional. The rooms were clean, updated and beautifully decorated. If you have time, visit the jacuzzi at the top level and enjoy the wonderful view of the city.
