The modern lofts form quite an impressive contrast with the rest of Havana and particularly with the direct neighbourhoud of "Habana Vieja." It is a perfect base for individual tourists who would like to discover Cuba's beautiful capital city by foot.

A very nice place to stay. Newly modernized rooms, very clean, friendly staff, good and varied "continental" breakfast. In general, you just feel welcome. Close to Plaza Vieja and old Havana in general - walking distance to a lot of sights.

The perfect spot to stay for exploring Old Havana. Situated at the east side of the city, next to the harbour, with great views. Great hotel, spacious room with multiple levels. Good breakfast at the rooftop terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Note that the ‘free WiFi’, which is a luxury here, is only available during breakfast hours. Between 08:00 and 10:00.

This is a weird place as it is not a real hotel but more of an annex to a main hotel. The impression I get is that there is a hotel called the Loft which has too many bookings so it has rented some additional floors and rooms in a nearby building and uses these rooms to cover the additional bookings. There is no permanent desk or front office here, but there is usually a person on the ground floor who tries to assist but mostly at a basic level. There is no bar or lobby apart from some chairs in the entrance /stair areas and don’t expect any services or amenities after hours as they don’t exist in this building. Breakfast was on the roof top terrace which had lovely views of the harbor. A bonus for Cuba was that the hotel provided free Wi-Fi for guests for 2 hours in the morning at the roof top terrace but like most of Cuba, the internet was slow. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Our room was nice and spacious. Location was good, slightly outside of the main areas (so not as crowded or noisy) but a 5 minute walk would get you to most of the old Havana landmarks. There is a small park / square in front of the building so there are taxis and old Havana tour cars always there and it is quickly accessible from the airport or other locations around Havana. Overall a nice enough place but not value for money for the price we were paying. i believe you could get better accommodation for the same price so shop around and see what the current offers are providing

First of all I see a lot of reviews on here that the people must of only stayed for 1 night or maybe 2 because I stayed in Havana for 5 nights and thank god only 1 of them was in this disaster of a place. Our first 4 nights we stayed in an airbnb for 35 cuc a night and i would suggest that anyone who is thinking of staying in a hotel or this place even go over to airbnb and do a little research and you'll find something there for a fraction of the price and on another level from this place. Firstly i tried to cancel my booking when i was in Havana so i called down to loft habana to talk to somebody face to face to find out that they don't have a reception and trying to ask the staff was next to impossible as they didn't seem to know anything about loft habana never mind Havana itself. When I got an email address for a lady i found out that an outside office handles the bookings so i wouldn't be able to see anyone to just call her which i did and explained that I would like to cancel my booking, the lady said send me all the details in an email and lets see what we can do. I sent the email to this woman and called her back to see did she receive it and she wouldn't answer the phone to me again. HILARIOUS The woman finally emailed me back after about 5 days saying that because i booking the ticket on special off (the room was 250 usd but was on sale for 130usd) i couldn't get a refund. Anyone who would pay 250 usd to stay in this place is out of their mind. When we arrived at the loft for our stay we were told that early check in was not possible because they were fully booked which i thought was funny considering we were told there was free wifi only to find out that it was for 2 hours and only on the roof. When our room was ready we were marched down the street to another building and told our room was inside, just completely unacceptable that we now have to walk back to our hotel for breakfast and for access to the "free wifi". The room stayed in had a broken window so we heard absolutely everything that was happening in the street from the drunks singing to the men collecting the garbage at 5am. What a lovely last night in Havana we had. When we checked out for our inconvenience we were given a free bottle of water. Check airbnb before you think of booking this place.
