NH Capri stands out for its vibrant atmosphere, with guests often enjoying the live music and commendable service, although the pool can sometimes be a bit bustling. The hotel's cleanliness receives consistent praise, with travelers appreciating the spotless rooms and meticulous common areas. While the amenities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a pleasant pool and cozy rooms, some visitors have noted that there could be improvements in maintenance. The rooms offer comfort and space, alongside beautiful views, but not without occasional maintenance concerns. The staff's attentive and caring service frequently earns accolades, and the hotel's proximity to local attractions and the Malecon is a highlight for many, despite a few guests finding it slightly out of the way.

The hotel is excellent, specially the personnel services beginning from the custodian, to the clerks at the reception as well as the workers in gastronomy. Assistance was given any time we requested. Bedclothes were changed daily and so the beds were made and the room cleaned. No reason to complain. Dayami and Yamilin were there for us 24/7. I truly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to all the sights and it’s very close to the iconic Hotel National de Cuba, which is a must see! The staff are amazing, especially the front of house/reception, the pool staff on the roof deck, and the ground floor bar staff who were all friendly and helpful. I used the gym and the pool, was both a good experience.

The breakfast was a good variety of local and continental options, buffet style with a range of drinks/juices.

Taxi from the airport to hotel and return to the airport cost me £10 sterling each way, but of course the taxi guys do try to charge double that, so negotiate amicably and pay a fair price!

I had a slightly scary experience on my final night at the hotel, when a strange man entered my room at 11.30pm! I had to chase him him and report him to reception downstairs. I was told he was the maintenance guy who accidentally went into my room. I was not given an apology by the manager nor offered any resolution, as I wasn’t able to sleep that night due to anxiety etc. Imagine if I had been a less able man, or even a female, I dread to think what could have and would have happened! The matter was reported to Trip.com who apologised but it should have been the hotel manager who spoke with me, and I felt disrespected that they still to date have not bothered to contact me!

Overall, the hotel is nice, but it was just my end incident on the final night that messed up my experience. Barricade the door from the inside with a chair and the cupboard door, just to be on the safe side, as anyone can enter the room when they want, any at time!

Okay, first things first a massive thank you to Hugo, Avianna, gretel and George at the nh capri. You made exploring Havana easy and exciting. To be honest all the staff at the Capri were amazing!!! They were so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about organizing activities and places for us to visit.

The hotel gives an international vibe in the lobby and restaurants but old-school Miami vibes in the rooms! The rooms may need a little refresh but they suited us fine. We stayed on the 15 floor. It was clean (cleaners came once a day) towels were changed regularly (you hang them up to signal you are happy to reuse them). The beds were SO comfortable, we had the best night's sleep here!
We had the breakfast option and were completely happy with this! There was a lot of variety and food was regularly topped up. We loved the French toast!
The wifi was temperamental and the best connection was in the lobby but your in Havana, go outside!!! You get 5 hours worth of internet and it can be topped up for free when it runs out.
We did try lunch and dinner in the hotel, these were table service and offered good options for a reasonable price.

The hotel was a short taxi ride to old Havana with a couple of good restaurant to eat in surrounding it and a small shop a couple of meters up the road.

All in all we had a great stay!!!

Hotel with dilapidated rooms.
Reception and ground floor redone and very modern, if you try to book a room that is not one of the few suites that have, at a disproportionate price, you find yourself inside a 70s room.
Not to mention the food... Booked with half board, the dinner available was a handful of white rice, a piece of chicken breast and I had asked for boiled vegetables, they brought me pumpkin past that I had expressly refused when they proposed it. Quality of hospital food...
Restaurant cleaning non-existent...
During the breakfast buffet, qualitatively poor, quantitatively pure...
There were cockroaches happily strolling by the bread baskets...

I think for Havana this hotel is a fairly good standard. A little dated but over all clean. Food in the restaurant is affordable and the staff are attentive. We ate breakfast downstairs the first two days but upstairs the second two which was much nicer. The cocktails are good and only cost a few dollars. The pool has a good view. The reception lobby area is a little sparse but they often had live music on which was appreciated. The location of the hotel is good, you can easily walk into old Havana along the sea front in 30 mins or so, and we were glad to be out of the centre. Also the restaurants are better value in this area than old Havana. We spent 4 nights in this hotel in Havana which was more than long enough.

The experience from the first contact q s made x via telephone was excellent care. All information with every detail of the services they offer. Upon arrival at the hotel at the reception we were greeted with a welcome cocktail. The very comfortable rooms with a whole team of necessary appliance effects make the stay easier. The different areas have a nice setting. The gastronomic service is quality in the preparation of food and treatment.
Overall I recommend the installation as an excellent option to enjoy as a family. You won't regret it. My highest congratulations to the hotel team.

The rooms are extremely dirty. We found dirt on the sheets and on the towels as well as hair on the floor when we arrived. The hotel needs alot of maintenance and to be disinfected. We ate lunch once in the hotel and it took almost 1 hour to get the food that was very bad and not the food we ordered. Extremely disappointing. We crossed the street and went to eat at another restaurant. The breakfast is boring and the majority of the food is dry.

There is a lot of staff in the hotel but we felt like none of them knew what they were doing. The few times we asked for help they either couldn’t help us or they lied to us.

Staff are friendly and communal areas are ok ie the AC works, sort of. Buffet breakfast had a nice range to choose from. Ate at the Italian restaurant one evening, unfortunately most of the menu wasn't available (we can live with this as we know there are supply issues)...it may just be easier to have a 'todays availablity board' instead. The food we ordered was nicely presented. The rooftop pool area offers great views, but doesn't have enough shade. It's great if you're lucky enough to get a chair under the concrete canopy.
We had 2 rooms on the 12th floor and one was particularly poor. In neither room did the AC work well...it managed 26o at coolest and was very noisy. Our room smelt damp (so we didn't unpack) and the room didn't feel particularly clean. The shower in particular could do with a good scrub. The mattress in our room was uncomfortable (daughters room had good mattress and no damp smell). In both rooms we experienced cockroaches sneaking out at night. The whole corridor smelt dreadful with damp and the carpet looked like it was the likely cause (visible mould). The hotel is a (very) good walk to central Havana ie not much fun in high temperature and taxis are around £20 each way. Suggest it's better to pay more for your hotel for a more central location in order to lose the exhorbitant taxi costs. We definitely wouldn't stay at this hotel again (primarily based on AC, smell and cleanliness issues with the room).

The NH Capri Hotel located in the heart of Habana overlooking the ocean and the Hotel National mixes old school charm with modern amenities and highly industrious and friendly staff. I visited during the start of the COVID lockdown and if I miss my flight today... I may be stuck here for a while. Anyway, the Capri has got to be by far the nicest place I've ever stayed. Room service is great, but double the average price of the handful of resturaunts nearby, however room service is 24/7 so that's a huge advantage during lockdown. The views are spectacular and the location superb. I came here just to get some rest after suffering a serious concussion. I met my Cuban friends/family complete with Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, little ones, Brothers and Sister and they were able to help me when my brain wasn't working. The General Manager Juan Amer is an amazing man who makes the hotel run much more smoothly. And, who could forget about Sunian who ensures that every detail is just right and Yanara our breakfast cook who makes the best fried eggs, bacon and pastries. Everything that they do and the cleanliness of the place along with spectacular views makes this special treat of a hotel the destination of choice for those who appreciate the finner things in life. Now my only complaint is when I tried to exchange money at the front desk and they shorted me. When I pointed this out the added a 1000 Pasos immediately. Not sure if this was a mistake or intentional, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Please, take the time to see Habana it all its charm before progress comes along because if there is one thing that never changes is change and this city is about to change. You can feel it in the air.

Spending a day with family, partner or friends is certainly an option that we always consider, but often we do not know where to go. This year I decided to come to the NH CAPRI hotel and I have sincerely felt more than satisfied every time I have come. It has a very professional team, in any of the facilities you will find wonderful attention that makes you feel special. The gastronomy is excellent, with a menu of haute cuisine , offer both national and international dishes that allow us to taste very characteristic flavors of different countries. In the hotel swimming pool we can enjoy wonderful views of different parts of Havana, as well as having excellent service by the workers who are always attentive and very helpful. For all this and much more I give it a 10 out of 10.

In Cuba, the electrical outlet is of the American type, that is, TYPE - A. Likewise, the voltage in the rooms is 220 V although in the common areas of the Hotel it is 110 V. Thank you very much for your interest.

Dear Users, All our visitors can go to the neighbour bank offices and exchange their currency at he official exchange rate. Also, if your are registered as a guest in the Hotel, you can change your currency in our Front Desk at a preferential exchange rate slightly lower than the banks' rate but more convenient for you. Thera are also ATM machines around the city and close by of our Hotel that will dispense Cuban Pesos from your credit card account (only Visa or Master) provided that your bank is not linked with American banks. You can walk through the Malecón to the Parque Central Plaza within the range of 25 - 30' minutes. Hope to greet you soon in the NH Capri. Kind regards!
