Roxana,a host, was very friendly, helpful and polite. All pictures are actual. Our room was in the back from the front of the building, that was good, because the street is noisy. There were no windows in the room. Important: Roxana, air conditioner MUST BE CLEANED on regular basis and change filters immediately ! Otherwise air conditioner will spread infection and cause disease of people. When we turned on air conditioner dust and bad smell spread in the room. I was sick for three weeks in Mexico, due to the same air conditioner. All other things were good. Breakfast was delicious. The area is very authentic and you would live among locals. Spend 20 minutes on the balcony in the morning and you'll see real Havana. No criminal. Anyway our guide recommended do not walk in the evening. Avoid staying in Old Havana.

Im a little late in writing this review i traveled to Cuba in February 2015, i spent 3 days at B&B Central Havana mid way through our two week trip. The casa was everything we hoped for, yeah its basic but the rooms are clean and the hosts fantastic! This was a perfect local casa which is walking distance to everywhere, we did not get a taxi once and felt very safe, you get your own keys so you can come and go as you please. Roxana was fantastic we didnt see any other guests as this was a base for exploring for us so we got up early in the morning then was out all day and eve, but on the day we left Roxana was extremely helpful trying to ensure that our flight was still running on time (internal flights are subject to change, they can bring it forward and unless you call the airport you will miss your flight) but Roxana did all of this for us, we could not have been more grateful. We really enjoyed Havana its a beautiful city and this Casa made it all the better.Thank you :-)

What makes B&B Central work so well are the two owners: Roxanna and Gabriel. Roxanna makes you feel very welcome and comfortable: "Treat it as your home" she says, and she means it. You can spend time in the living/dinning room and feel very comfortable. It is very clean and well kept, as are all three rooms. Roxanna and Gabriel will do everything to help you with your travel: call ahead to other casas for a room for you, help with the actual travel arrangements where she can, and be flexible with your needs. She works hard to remember what you like to eat, when, etc. the breakfasts are excellent. The only downside to the location, which is actually excellent, is the street noise can be a bit much at times.
I highly recommend their casa for your stay in Havana.

Roxana's breakfast is the best in all of Cuba! Mango juice, coffee, fruit cup, toast, scrambled egg, cheese and ham…
The casa particular has a very characteristic living room, the rooms acceptable for those with a spirit of adaptation. The air conditioning works very well except for some power cuts which however affect the whole city.
Strategic location for visiting the nearby Callejon de Hamel and then going to the other neighborhoods. Not recommended for girls alone as it is very isolated.

It's located in central havana and close to Malecon. Just 20-30 mins walk to old Havana and I am sure you will enjoy the walk with stunning ocean view. Most of the host of those casa particulars I have stayed in Cuba don't speak English at all but they are still very friendly and helpful, alas, those staff from B&B Central Havana are not so friendly especially those serving in the morning. As it's name explained, you would feel like living in a hostel rather than a casa.
P.S. The room is clean and big but the aircon is quite noisy. I can even hear it after putting on my earplugs.

I apologize if the staff in the morning it seemed impolite. Breakfast (apart from special needs to be given the night before) is served starting at 8 am. Will you woke up very early and the girls of the staff were employed in preparing breakfasts, maybe there was no time for friendly chat. Sorry about that even though we were not as friendly as you would have wanted. Regards Gabriele, B&B Central Havana

I just came back from a wonderful stay in this B&B. I was alone and felt very safe in the B&B and in the neighborhood. The rooms are very clean and very quiet. The a/c works well and the safety box is attached to the wall. The living room and the dining room are beautifully decorated, nicely furnished and very comfortable ( a/c now everywhere). The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I was able to have my private Spanish lessons in the dining room. They help me with taxis, guides, etc... The meals provided are excellent and the new chef (Japanese, his nickname) is very creative and more than willing to satisfy your culinary needs. Breakfast is huge and very good.

We had a nice stay at B&B Central Havana. The people were kind, the place is clean and the breakfasts were great. It is a bit far from Habana Vieja (you can still walk) but it's really close to Vedado, Centro Habana is an eclectic neighborhood and an interesting insight into Cuban life.
I got sick and Yanuel came with me and my friend to the clinic, wait with us, met the doctor and bought medication. I'm really grateful for what he did.

clean and simple B&B in a central location. Good base to explore Havana in authentic neighbourhood, close to the attractions and not in crowded Havana Viejo. Hosts were very pleasant and provided loads of information.

One of the better Casas we visited and would highly recommend. The room was very clean, with a private bathroom (hot water and good water pressure), small stocked fridge and safe. Little things that you will only appreciate once you stay at other casas. Roxana is a great host and makes a huge effort to mind her guests. Breakfast was very good and quality was better than you’ll get elsewhere. Location is handy for getting into town but be prepared that like most places in Cuba the street is quite rundown (we found it perfectly safe and quiet but it is a bit of a culture shock if its your first exposure to Cuba).

My boyfriend and I have just come back from an 11 day stay in Cuba, which is undeniably a fantastic country to visit.
Our first stop was Havana where we stayed with Roxanna for 3 nights and 2 days. We had a room to ourselves, with air conditioning and bathroom facilities. The room had a well stocked mini bar with very keenly priced beers which was great!
Roxanna cooked up a veritable feast every morning for us every morning with tasty ham, eggs, cheese and delicious bread rolls! We found the accommodation and food to be great value and it was really nice to eat in the light and open dining room, with a balcony looking out onto the hustle and bustle of central havana.
The casa is a little walk to Havana old town but my boyfriend and I preferred this as Old Havana is very touristy and we enjoyed sampling a more authentic Havana. You are also only a few minutes walk from the Malecon (sea front) which is gorgeous to walk along in the day. We also found several nice paladars and a cigar smoking club close by. This is a great base to explore the town from and if you can't be bothered to walk then you can easily hail a cab from outside. We went to an amazing night out in an old factory called Fabrice de arte Cubana - difficult to describe but a great night out and not far from the case.

El B&B esta situado en un segundo piso, hay que subir una escalera.
La Lisa esta un poco lejo de Centro Habana.
The address is far away, they are about 10 minutes by taxi.
I advise you to rent a property in the Miramar district.
Lo siento mucho, en estas fechas no tenemos disponibilidades.
