We stayed at Casa Onelia for 4 nights in May. The house is lovely with its tile work, antique furniture and gardens. It feels clean, and fresh. Onelia and Rodolfo are very social and enjoy chatting a lot with their guests. They had helpful tips about restaurants, sites and transportation. The house set-up and styles of the hosts didn’t allow... More

We went to Cuba for our Honeymoon, when we looked for a hotel room in la Havana, everything was sold out, and someone told me about the "casa particular". Casa Onelia is amazingly beautiful, and so well maintained. The room we had was great, very cosy and super elegant. But the best thing ever was definitely the hosts, Onelia and... More

Onelia's home in Vedado is beautiful. She and her husband, Rodalpho, are great hosts (if you speak Spanish, she will talk to you all night). If you do not speak any Spanish, bring a dictionary and you'll be fine. Overall, the beds were comfortable enough. Our room had poor water pressure, but this seems to be Havana wide. Onelia was... Beautiful colonial house in Cuba. Best breakfast during our entire stay in Cuba. Onelia and Cholio are incredibly welcoming. They treat you like family! Their house is clean and full of gorgeous tile work and antique furniture. We'll be back for sure.

The house is amazing, bright, nice and well conserved and of course clean beds and bathroom. Onelia take care of all details, I think she was a designer in other life. It is well located in Vedado, near to the malecon and to the 23, where you can take taxi, colectivo or guagua. There is a park with wifi in... More

Onelia and her husband Chollo are probably the nicest people we have met in Cuba! They took care of us so well that we actually booked another night with them at the end of our trip because it was so amazing. In the quieter, leafy suburb of Vedado, this casa is the perfect place to stay. Onelia & Cholo are perfect hosts and their son Rudolfo (who speaks French) went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed. Even though they don't speak English, it is still easy to communicate. Nothing was a problem, everyone was extremely... More
