The view from room 302 is fantastic and looks over to the Museo de la Revolucion and the famous Granma boat. Rooms are however clean and water runs hot in the bathrooms.
However, in customary Cuban hotel style the hotel does have its problems.
Some problems with the elevator and hot water but the location was great and everyone was wonderful. The view from the restaurant can't be beat. The guided tour was so worth it thru the hotel and the Habaguanex state agency, ask for Giselle!

Hello. Actually Cuba has two - peso convertible CUC (for tourists) and peso noncovertible (for it's citizens). All prices for tourists (hotel, restaurants, souvenirs etc) in CUC. There is a currency exchange in Havana's aeroport Jose Marty so you exchange money just after your arrival. And I reccomend you to do so at least some of money because there are no many ATM and banks there. In addition there aren't many places where you can pay by card
