Casa Cristo Colonial couldn't have been a better experience!!!. Jeiver and his wife were very welcomig and made our stay in Havana a great experience. Since it was our first visit in Cuba, Jeiver helped us with things to do in Havana and gave us some tips about the area too. He was the most useful and smiling person and helped us also in arranging the transportation from/to the airport as well as the taxi collectivo to our next destinations. I deeply recommend Casa Cristo Colonial as central and walking distance to all the main sites. ,The room was extremely clean and breakfast more than generous. I would certainly go back.

We were in Casa Cristo Colonial during our honeymoon and had a great time. Great location, near many resturants, bars and the wifi park. Jevier and Belkis were super nice and helped us in everything we needed, the breakfast was very delicious. I would absolutely recommend this amazing place for everyone who wants to have an unforgettable vacation in Havana, Cuba.

(NOTE : I accidentally wrote this same review on Casa Colonial 1715, when it was meant for Casa Cristo Colonial - I have tried removing the other review but have had no luck) We came to Havana for 4 days of sightseeing and wanted to choose a casa rather than a generic hotel room. The central location, option of a fresh breakfast every day and good reviews were why we picked this one specifically. Fresh breakfast every morning was amazing! Freshly prepared juices, salads and jams along with coffee and eggs have never tasted soo good! Well worth it. Javier gave us a very in depth briefing starting with finding out our plans to help plan out routes and making suggestions on food and activities nearby. Any questions we had he would go out of his way to provide answers to the best of his ability and we very much appreciated all the help. The house itself was spotless, very spacious rooms and breakfast area, fans everywhere to keep us cool and we were offered to have our rooms cleaned and clothes washed every day. When it came to arranging travel to Matanzas, again, we were given suggestions and alternatives along with some more advice before heading out. Halfway through the 2 hour drive I realised that I forgot a valuable piece of jewelry on a shelf. Contacted Javier as soon as we could only to see he had actively been trying to get through to us to get our address back in the UK for sending it via post. Long story short: The location itself was great in all aspects, our hosts went out of their way to make sure we were happy at all times and through their actions in returning my item shows that they are genuinely nice people! I already know where I'll be staying next time I fly for Havana.

Havana old town streets are wonderfully chaotic where front rooms and residents seem to tumble out onto doorsteps in the evenings and your next house might be a cycle repair workshop or woodwork business or derelict fall down house. Hidden behind a sturdy door and a stairway was a family home with a lovely courtyard and dining room for guests and family. The children were well behaved and quite used to opening doors for guests with a smile. Lovely fresh made breakfast fruit smoothies and more. Worth paying extra for breakfast. Our Spanish was hopeless but our hosts made us very welcome without being intrusive or pushy about other tourist products. Air conditioning worked well in the rooms, but would have been quite cool with just the fan. Tall celings and elegance. We are sailors who had been on a working sailing ship for 10 days without air con, so we were easily pleased....but it was a shame we hadnt learnt more Spanish to show our interest in the country more.

This was our first stop on arriving in Cuba. Stayed 3 days and liked it so much we returned at the end. Friendly team. The owners weren't there for the first stay but the team were really helpful in sorting our transport and onward stay. Great breakfast. Nice clean traditional rooms with ensuite. We found it perfectly located to walk everywhere for the main sites being in the old town but close to central Habana.
