We stayed with Marta Feb '16 and had a wonderful experience. Marta runs a tight ship and provides a wonderfully consistent breakfast with delicious coffee every morning. Her eggs are perfection, too! Every aspect of your stay with Marta is great. The entire floor is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated, clean, nice linens on the beds, and fresh towels. The... More

Staying here is such a novel experience, because it feels so luxurious for Havana. Breakfast with a view from the 14th floor apartment is a good reason to be here. The room and attached bathroom were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Marta responds very quickly to emails but I would suggest reconfirming your arrival again nearer the date if you... More

We booked a room at Casa Marta in Havana because of the good reviews on both Tripadvisor and Lonely Planet. We even received a confirmation of our booking. But when we got there the woman greeting us told us that she didn't have dates for our booking, and that all their rooms were occupied. Marta was not there to meet... More

After staying with my friend's family and another casita in Santiago for a few days, I truly appreciated the amenities and serene atmosphere at Marta’s place. The apartment is beautiful; Well decorated with fabulous view of Vedado, the ocean and Avenida de Los Presidentes. Marta made sure that we were comfortable by giving us a room with two beds even... We booked to stay at Marta's Casa about a month and a half before visiting, and confirmed when we arrived in Cuba that we would be staying with her, but upon arrival we were taken to a different casa 'Suite Caribe' (which I will review separately). We had a very late flight from Camaguey to Havana (which we informed Marta... More

We stayed at Marta's B&B for our last night in Cuba after travelling around various places in the country. The room was large with two good beds and a spacious bathroom (good shower!). Her apartment is beautifully furnished, and the view from the balcony over the whole of Havana is tremendous. The street (Ave de Los Presidentes) is also very... More

Marta is a wonderful hostess - best in Cuba! The views from her casa are spectacular - a 270 degree view of Havana and the water. We took advantage of the breakfasts several days with a healthy start to our day with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and toast. The coffee was delicious and helped start our day. Marta had great... We were a couple traveling 6 weeks through Cuba and luckily I choose a great place to stay for 4 nights in Havana . Marta was a very gracious host and her apartment lovely . We loved sitting in the enclosed balacany watching the waves crashing over the Malacon, and feeling so far removed from a big city. Great place... More

I spent 4 nights at Marta Vitorte´s Casa Particular in Vedado and the place is outstanding. Big room with fridge, aircon, TV, bathroom, safe box..all very clean and secure. Located at the 14th floor , the views are expectacular. The neighbourhood has some well known restaurants, Anthony Bourdain´s favourite Paladar Los Amigos, a jazz club, cafes,.. I attach some photos... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in November at Marta's casa. Upon entering the 14th floor space, we noticed the very elegant furnishing from the 1960s in the main living space as well as the amazing wrap around balcony that offered views of the Malecon and much of Vedado. Marta was friendly, but all business. She served us... More
