The location of this hotel couldn't be faulted - within walking distance of the old part of the city - and the architecture and history of the building were fascinating. However, the fixtures and fittings in our room were well past their best with no lamp shade on the one bedside light and badly chipped furniture and the room had...

My daughter and I visited Havana for 5 days and loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The location was very central within walking distance of Havana's best sites and restaurants. The highlight of this hotel is the wonderful staff, the maids, bar and restaurant staff and the bell boys were great. Special mention for Francisco in the lobby and...

A beautiful old 1908 Moorish style hotel with lots of fascinating history - is quite central to walk into old Havana & down the Prado to the Malecon. Once " taken over " by Al Capone many interesting personalities have stayed here over the years - one room we stayed in ( after 1 shift ! ) had been occupied...

The hotel is quite beautiful, the lobby details were spectacular. There is an open air bar with a wonderful fountain and there was live salsa music a lot during the day and night. They also had a string quartet every morning in the lobby, nice touch. The bar service was terrible, the waiters were horrible you are better off to...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights to explore Havana and it was in a good spot, you can walk everywhere from the hotel. It is one of the oldest in Havana and has plenty of character. There is live music day and night and the open courtyard is perfect to relax and enjoy a drink. The breakfast was...

My son and I stayed at the Hotel Sevilla for a week in mid-March. This was our first trip to Cuba. For our first adventure to Havana we wanted a place that was centrally located (in Old Havana), not overly modern and provided assistance with tours, restaurants and attractions. I have to say that the Hotel Sevilla ticked all the...

I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel for the price it charges. We spent almost $600 per night here, as we went with a child, so they charged a huge surcharge for an one extra person. But even without that, it's just not worth the price of a room. Here's the good and the bad: The good: live music in...

Dear bucko26, I can understand that considering the price, you think the rooms are not at the level. All hotels have sen their price getting higher since a year since the demand is far higher than the offer. Nevertheless I am very happy to read that "the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially pool towel guy, the bell boys,...

Great hotel, good location. The rooms were on the small side but perfectly functional. The bathroom facilities were small but clean and there was a hot shower! The food here was great, we ate in the bar a couple of times at lunch. The breakfast was good also, lots of choice. The cocktails in the bar were excellent as well....
