Many reviews you read about this property will inform you of how wonderful the foyer is and the central location. These observations have merit and when you walk into the hotel for the first time you will think "Oh Bliss" an old world 4 Star property - that is where it ends. Customer service was dreadful: In the 4 nights...

We spent 3 nights at the Mercure Sevilla at the beginning of our trip in Cuba and then we decided to go back and stay one more night before going back home! The building is old with sometimes some small inconveniences but never painful but also with lots of charms. The staff was nice, the room was large and well equipped....

We were not expecting much from the Hotel, it was as expected, nice looking, old and quaint and in a great location. The rooms were very tired and shabby, the water leaked from the shower and the sink, thankfully the toilet didn't leak. One of the lifts was out of order for the 3 days and there are no stairs...

I loved this place from the minute I walked in the door! There is a big breezy lobby with live music coming from the patio bar and a friendly helpful staff--especially Anabel! She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect with tours. The beautiful tile and old photos throughout gives this 100 year old heritage hotel...

My daughter and I spent 3 wonderful nights at the Mercure Sevilla. The hotel is quite a beauty. It is old, but it is still a beautiful building. Renovations are going on, but we never heard any noise. It has a lovely lobby and a 24 hour bar that has music every day. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast...

My husband and I just returned from visiting family in Havana, Cuba, and one of the highlights was staying at the Sevilla. The lobby was beautiful, the entertainment top-notched, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. All other positives aside, the greatest asset the Sevilla has to offer is it's incredible service. Everyone who worked at the hotel went above...

The hotel has a fantastic location for those who want to take on Havana, it is right in the middle of everything. Great room, great ambiance, great service -- especially from Geraldo Souto, the Director of Operations. We would definitely return.

This hotel is a super, colonial-period building. It's exciting to visit, even if the facilities and plumbing are run down. It has an old-fashioned swimming pool. Although it carries the "Mercure" brand, it's basically government run. For what you get, it's very expensive. Casas particulares are much better value. They have a nice patio with salsa bands most of the...

I had an incredible experience at the Hotel Sevilla and 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Havana. I traveled to Cuba with three friends and stayed here for four nights and loved every second of it. The service is incredible, everyone is very friendly, welcoming and professional. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere with several unique areas - my favorite...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Sevilla as part of our honeymoon and awaiting us in our room was a note of congratulations and a bottle of rum which was a nice touch. Accommodation in Cuba is on a different scale to that to be expected in other countries yet when comparing the room to others in Cuba, even...
