We just returned from 3 nights at the Sevilla and it was delightful. We had a beautiful view from the 7th floor overlooking the El Capitolio. It was a pleasant walk along the Prado Parkway to Parque Central. After touring in the morning, we would relax by the pool in the afternoons. The pool area is like an oasis in...

Dear GambleOak, What a very nice comment, thank yo very much. I have shared it with my team as what a better compliment that "Gracious Staff". You are definitly right, what a better place than our swimming pool to relax after few hours walk in The Havana. As well as you said our lobby is perfect to enjoy a mojito...

We were fortunate enough to stay here three nights on the concierge level. The room was an amazing piece of history. It had tall ceilings, windows looking out toward the capitol and out over the sea. The size was what one would expect from a vintage hotel. The staff were very kind and attentive without being overwhelming. The concierge level...

Dear Andy W, What a great review a compliment to us, specially comming from a "proffessional Tripadvisor reviewer". I am always very happy and proud when guest are complimenting our staff. For $350+ (USD) a night, this has to be the worst hotel deal ever. Yes, the lobby is quite charming, but the charm stops there. The staff - perhaps like the rest of Cuba which isn't very developed in tourism - aren't exactly pleasant. The room is especially horrendous. The mattresses feel like they should've been replaced 10 years ago,...

Der HomelessSu, I can fully understand that you are not happy about your stay. What I do not understnad is why you did not ask for e or my assistant to try to make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel is 109 years old, it has some problem but we always try to solve them or to change rooms if...

Having stayed in four different hotels in Havana we founds this to be the best as a great location between the old town and central Havana. It also had the nicest room of all. Staff at reception and in the lobby bar were very friendly and helpful though staff at breakfast hadn't quite grasp the customer service approach. Hotel also...

Best hotel for a first visite to the Habana city. Perfectly situated, confortable, clean (European standard) and it keeps it's cuban atmosphere. The breakfast is marvellous, fresh fruits, diversified food (sweet and salty) and a beautiful view to start the day. I recommand this hotel to all my relatives.

We were staying in a hostel a block away. We hung out at this hotel that we found by accident located across the Museum of Revolucion. We ate at the restaurant at least 4 days on 8. The dinner restaurant and the breakfast restaurant had good food. They also had live entertainment every night with different artist that sometime sold...

Great introduction to Cuba: the wonderful authentic charm and the dilapidated conditions and faded beauty with free music and lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The Sevilla has hosted gangsters and diplomats and is steps from the Revolution Museum. On the edge of Old Habana, Sevilla is a great base for seeing the old city (we used the Bici-taxis most -...

My night in the nearby Hotel Inglaterra was awful so I moved to this hotel a block away. Although the room was still old-fashioned and shabby and very expensive, at least it wasn't filthy (it wasn't that clean either). Overall it was pretty nice downstairs - the little patio area is nice to have a drink in, but there is...
