We found Casa 'Cary y Nilo' on a website and this was just the best choice we could have imagined! We stayed at the casa for a few nights after arriving in Cuba and also returned to the casa at the end of our trip. The casa has a colonial touch, is very quiet yet not far from popular places...

Our decision to stay at Cary y Nilo's casa was a real jackpot win. Surprisingly warm welcome and their readiness to assist all the time was astonishing. Cary helped us a lot, including booking casas in other destinations all over Cuba and giving valuable and vital advice where to go in Havana and how to get there. In addition, the...

Cary y Nilo are a really gentle and warm couple. We (family of 4) stayed in an aparment close to their house, on the first floor (no elevator, in case you have some problem, tell her before). The apartment had two rooms, one bathroom, one living room and a small kitchen full of water, cups, plates and anything else we...

My boyfriend and I stayed in Havana for the beginning of our trip and was fortunately introduced to Havana through the charming couple Cary and Nilo. Our room was gorgeous, the old colonial decor that you envisage Cuba contain. Cary kindly called around all of the other casas in other cities to make sure we got a bed everywhere we...

Cary and Nilo are warm and charming and their Casa Particular reflects their personality, with a large salon filled with photos of their children and grandchildren, a passageway lined with beautiful plants, and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The little fridge held cold water and the beds were made up every day. Breakfast was a heaping plate of fresh fruit, eggs...

The colonial house is absolutely beautiful, in an excellent condition and immaculately clean. It's in a very convenient location right in the centre of Havana, only 2 blocks from the Malecón! Cary and Nilo are excellent hosts. They really helped us a lot during our stay and know every corner of the city. This is for sure one of the...

We had a wonderful stay with Cary y Nilo. The casa is beautiful, and it felt like staying as a welcome member of the family. Nothing was too much trouble - Cary even walked us to a wonderful restaurant with her umbrella - because it was raining and was worried we would get lost (we would have done!). Best fruit...

We loved staying here so much. We stayed with Cary and Nilo when we first arrived in Cuba and again at the end of our trip when we flew out. We were so well fed at breakfast time and looked after. The room was lovely with huge private bathroom and air conditioning and a fridge also which was great, it...
