All the prior reviews are correct- for $45 CAD a night, you get what you pay for. Cost me $30CUC for a taxi from the airport and took approx. 40 minutes. I arrived early at noon and had to pay another $40CAD to check in early. I thought that was crazy but I really had no choice (with all my...

Was a power cut when I arrived, but guess that's Havana for you. Even though the power was down at reception there was still lights working in the room. Receptionist was good at englis speaking so easy checkin. Room was a good size, clean and with power sockets. The bed comfortable, which I found from staying at a few other...

I was in Isazul Caribbean for 1 night in January 2nd to 3rd with a friend. I am not a picky person in terms of my expectations. I knew what I was getting into when I paid $45 cad for a night. I always tell people who complained if you want a 5 star hotel, pay $200 a night and...

We used this hotel as a base during a two week trip of Cuba. It was very cheap compared to other hotels in the area and the location is perfect. On a good street, which had an art sale at the weekend and was a stones throw from the malecon and the main Havana thoroughfare. The hotel itself was quite...

Location is good. it is 5 min. walk to Capitol Hill and 5 min. walk to Malekon. Breakfast consists of juice, omelet (1egg), 2 toasts, pieces of butter and jam. This is was the first time I saw rusty knife at the restaurant(: . Room facing main street was not ready upon our arrival and they just let us have...

We booked this hotel online last November. After trying a lot of hotels that had no vacancies we eventually got into this one. The staff are helpful and friendly. As another review remarked they are doing the best that they can. The breakfast is variable - but then this is Cuba and it is obvious that getting food is not...

Location if great if you want to spend all of your time in Old Havana and if your expectations are realistic. Its Cuba and you will be in a great area for daytime sightseeing. Breakfast is OK..You will get whatever they have that day. An egg and toast and coffee, maybe a small muffin and fruit. Rooms, if they have...

This hotel is in a prime location on the Prado. Close to everything. Very clean. We had room with a balcony. Can be a little noisey at night but worth having the view. The first breakfast was bad but it was quickly fine tooned to my liking. Bottled water at the hotel is 1 CUC and beer is 1.25 CUC....

If you are looking for luxury accommodations do not choose this hotel. If you are looking for a clean, safe, and perfectly located place to sleep and see Old Havana, choose this place. If you cannot get into the main hotels like the Inglaterra, or the Park Central, consider staying here. Remember that it is a budget hotel. The staff...
