We’ll make it very easy for you. You can discover the historic centre of Havana on foot, staying in either one of Iberostar Parque Central’s two hotel buildings. From the character of this historic building to its modern design, you can walk through a decorated tunnel that is like taking a journey through time. The hotel interior gives you more than five stars, as can be seen on both upper floors which house the swimming pools and sun terrace. Take a dip in one of the pools while the light floods across the dome of the Capitolio, and you will see that any description of luxury we give you falls short. As well as the facilities, which can host conferences and meeting rooms with all the necessary equipment, Iberostar Parque Central is also a benchmark for gastronomy in the city.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.

During our stay at the hotel, we were in the old wing, where we had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking a nearby boulevard. The room was comfortable, though the noise from the tiled corridors could be disruptive at night. The bathroom was well-equipped but lacked electrical outlets, and the room's European-style outlets made our converters unnecessary. The room had a refrigerator but no minibar, and while it included an iron, ironing board, and extra blankets, the air conditioning was set at a chilly 17°C with no apparent way to adjust it.
The hotel pool generally had a lifeguard, and snacks and drinks were available after 11 AM. However, the music played at the pool was of poor quality. The on-site restaurants offered a limited menu due to supply shortages, though the breakfast buffet was diverse. The cozy lobby bar had a small selection of drinks, and there was also a cigar bar, though we didn’t try it. Shopping options were limited, with no snacks or drinks available outside the hotel bar, and bottled water was costly. Sightseeing in Havana involved frequent offers for rides, and while the locals were friendly, the promenade walk was disappointing due to litter and poor conditions.

We stayed in this gem in the heart of Havana. We had a wonderful experience, the staff is most friendly. The rooms are classic, very nice with everything you need, hair dryer, bathroom amenities, large towels and very clean, there was special attention to the cleanliness of the room. The view of the capitol was a plus. The hotel is located very centrally, we could easily walk to the capitol, the boardwalk, the restaurants in the area, the historic center, the Bodeguita del Medio and the museums. The girl who plays the violin in the lobby is an excellent artist. We loved having a drink in the lobby bar and listening to the violin. The transportation was on time to take us to Varadero where we stayed 7 nights in another beautiful hotel, the Iberostar Selection Varadero, the beach is I N C R E I B L E, we had excellent weather. The beach is extremely white and the sea is transparent, we rode a pedal boat (free) and we saw how transparent the floor was. I can't wait to get back. Highly recommended

It was very thoughtful of leaving a hairdryer to use in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was incredible and very delicious, wide variety of choices including asking for eggs made the way you like right in front you and a lot of tropical fruit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room maintenance was always impeccable and they always left any unorganized clothing neatly folded right where it was left. Little thoughtful notes were always left by the maids which were very cute and always a genuinely nice surprise. The pool on the roof has an amazing view of the Central Park and of the Capitol, great for taking pictures and there is also a restaurant from which you can order to eat right by the poolside. They provided us with towels every time we arrived at the pool. The view outside of our room balconies was always an amazing sight to wake up to. The lobby is very nicely decorated, with different musicians, groups, and instrument players coming by to entertain all those in the lobby. There were opera singers, salsa groups, violin players and more. The lobby is always very well air conditioned and you can adjust the temperature of the AC in your room as well. Overall very good experience, would recommend and come again, thank you for having me.

The best thing: its location, just a few steps from Photo of the capitol and in front of Central Park. Breakfast buffet of the Hotel restaurant (El Mediterraneo) great! The extra 2 x 2 bed comfortable and the staff attentive and friendly at all times. The worst: The Lobby Bar (inside the Hotel) First your prices are not from this planet: For two normal burgers (see photo) a beer and a water 62€ ; (nor in Germany friends), when in The Hotel next door we ate 2 whole grilled lobsters, two beers and a water for 55€. And secondly, after paying by credit card "of course with pin" we were required to write down on the Ticket the Signature and _our Passport number_. After several attempts to tell them that we were staying several Days at The Hotel and The Room Number told us that they do NOT belong to the Hotel and that he does not have time to go check the Room data. Too bad that dazzles that magnificent Hotel and its service. Another thing, as soon as you set foot outside the Hotel (not even 2 meters) you will be approached to sell cigars, Ron and travel with convertible and ask for money and clothes. Many (most) are not certified and you may have bad experience; trust your travel partner.

We stayed in the Colonial section of the hotel. The room was quite big, with a King bed and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. The room was clean and in good shape. The windows do open and have incredible sound proofing because the noise outside is quite loud, but we could not hear any of it with the windows closed. The AC can not be turned up higher than 21C which made it a bit chilly some evenings, although we appreciated the cold when we got back in the afternoons. There is a minifridge, but no coffee maker or kettle, which was disappointing, because there is nowhere to just buy a cup of coffee/tea in the morning. The breakfast buffet is $20 per person and since it was not included we chose to eat elsewhere. The wifi was slow but ok for checking email or uploading a few photos to Facebook. I didn't try streaming, I don't think it would have been able to handle it. We were each given a password for the wifi, what they didn't explain is that you could only use the password one for one device, so my phone could logon and not my iPad all week. Rooftop pool was nice and the food was decent, although much better can be found with a 10-15 minute walk. There was entertainment sometimes, but there was no information about it anywhere. We just found out because we could hear it! There is currently construction going on somewhere in the hotel, we saw some people that were clearly painting and heard some hammering during the day. It was not at night, so it did not interrupt our sleep. As others have mentioned, there are some people offering taxi rides, money changing etc as soon as you step outside. This is true when you walk down the streets anywhere in Havana, I don't think you would find a hotel that this doesn't happen at.

The location is unbeatable for all visits to Old Havana. There are no better views of the Capitol than those that can be enjoyed from the hotel's rooftop, where you will find a small oasis like a swimming pool and numerous hammocks with bar and restaurant service, which invites you to relax and tan after a day of long walks around the city. the vibrant streets of the city. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is abundant and varied and the service exceptional. The managers are always very attentive to ensure that nothing is ever missing. It is a very cozy hotel. I recommend enjoying a coffee or a cocktail on the interior terrace past the main lobby, which is carefully and tastefully decorated, surrounded by exotic natural plants, and where there is never a shortage of talented local musicians who strive to make the stay pleasant and enjoyable. good vibes. Without a doubt, a hotel to return to again and again. Many thanks to all the staff for your professionalism and friendliness. See you soon.

A classic city centre hotel, well positioned overlooking Central Park and the Capitol area, and adjacent to the old town.
The hotel itself has an old and a modern section. We chose to stay in the old (or classic) part because it is more stylish and closer to the main amenities; the newer part is an annex.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bed and bathroom with shower and bath. There were no additional supplies, apart from large soap dispensers in the bathroom. So we had an empty fridge, 2 coffee cups and 2 glasses but no water or tea/coffee. The room was very clean with powerful air conditioning.
One safety issue: the hairdryer was plugged into a normal wall socket in the bathroom, resting on the surface next to the wash basin; an obvious electrocution risk!
Downstairs, there are a bar and two restaurants. The bar is adequate but you will need to use a smart phone to access the menu offline; nothing is printed. Service is fragmented but cheerful. They charge pesos at a 100 per euro rate, which is convenient to calculate but you should be able to get 120 elsewhere.
No one comes to Cuba for the food, but at least the main restaurant offers a buffet breakfast with an egg station. It does the job, that’s all to say about it. Don’t bother to eat dinner there: over priced, poor service, and poor quality.
It is worth noting that there is a significant language barrier here if you are not good with Spanish. Be patient and try to simplify requests where possible.
Overall, a competent city hotel that would rate 4 stars in Europe or America. Brilliant location, comfortable rooms, and satisfactory facilities.

Since we had already visited the Iberostar Parque Central once during Corona, we were even more disappointed by what we found. The pictures reflect the condition of the hotel. We left the first room straight away because it was very dirty, the wooden door to the bathroom already had an autograph from the previous guest (Paul) and the overall impression was appalling. The second room was a bit better, but we gradually found significant deficiencies there too. The overall impression was by no means as we remembered it. The hotel previously had three breakfast rooms, today there is only one room. This is too small for the mass of guests, the noise level is correspondingly loud, the chairs at the back are worn and dirty. The staff is friendly but not too nice. If guests come from the Spanish-speaking area, they are showered with attention. A special point should be the rooftop pool, in the new part of the hotel there is a rooftop pool with around 30 loungers.
There were 4 parasols for this area!! One was broken, one was needed by the DJ (for his incredibly loud music blaring from 11:00 a.m.) and there was a fight over the 2 intact parasols.
The parasol stands were broken and had sharp edges, the floor was even shabbier than the loungers themselves, which were also old and damaged.
There was hair and leftover food from the previous day/days on the floor.
The 3 existing wooden pergolas were also rotten and should have been replaced sooner.
The unbearable noise made it impossible to relax, and the pool was also closed at 7:00 p.m.
There are towels at the pool but no internet, although this worked well in the rest of the hotel.
The pool area is also open to non-guests of the hotel.
There is also no longer a currency exchange office in the hotel, and the laundry service has also been abolished.
The breakfast and food, and the drinks at the bar are good, but the service has become average.
When I asked the management about the overall impression of the rooms and the pool, all I got was a willingness to listen.
I don't accept the answer that we are in Cuba and not in Europe, there are international standards that must be adhered to, and I also find it a disgrace to have to find such conditions.
The 5 stars are exaggerated and belong to the past and are no longer justified.
The hotel is suitable for 1-2 nights

Spent 3 nights at this hotel, perfect location for exploring Havana. A very good hotel in a classic style. Rooms are a good size, large beds. Hotel food was good, breakfast was very good, slightly limited in so e areas but better than a lot of hotels. There is a rooftop pool and bar with views.
One thing to take into account is that Hotels seem to prefer credit cards whereas everywhere else is cash only and they want USD's, don't assume it is very cheap!
Get local advice on restaurants, we had good meals, not cheap and limited choice so take into account what they have locally and choose that, the fish was very good. Don't forget to take a classic car tour to see the sights outside the city centre.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, we asked to change rooms which was efficiently arranged by reception staff and porters. Ber staff were also good. Recommended for the staff and location.

Big hotel located in the centre of Havana, we arrived looking pretty dishevelled after travelling for 18 hours straight, check-in was OK, not much was explained and there was no literature, so dazed and confused we just went to our room 323. The air con was great, and having asked for a quiet room, we were overlooking the back of the hotel. The double glazing worked well, so there was little or no noise. The room was comfortable and really clean, big tv with one English channel. The shower worked really well. As others have mentioned, we were only given one bottle of water on our first night. We tried to buy some from a local shop, but there was none to be had. In the end we ordered water with our dinner and took the bottle up with us. The room had coffee cups, but no coffee machine, which was strange. Not really a 5 star hotel. The money exchange in the hotel was not available, and my partner was directed to a side street, where he got about 120 CUP to the €. One of the problems with the hotel was that as soon as you walked out the door, you were bombarded with people offering taxi, horse or bike rides, sightseeing guides, taxis, or money exchange, some could be quite persistent and it made for an unpleasant experience, I assume that the covered walkway belonged to the hotel, so I would have expected the doormen to make sure you weren't molested every time. The lobby bar was cool, and the service was efficient, as was the case with the pool bar, and the views from the roof were stunning. Breakfast in the Mediterranean restaurant was really good with so much choice and really friendly service. We had booked half board, and the food was ok. Cuba is suffering from the economic crisis, nearly everything is in short supply, and the hotels do the best they can, I was glad I booked half board as most of the restaurants and bars nearby were closed. Currency issues caused a big problem, the prices were all in CUP, but you had to pay by card in $$, so you were never really sure how much you were paying but the hotel exchange rate made things expensive.

Dear guest, Thank you very much for choosing us to enjoy your holidays in the capital of Cuba. We are happy to know that the beauty and comfort of our facilities lived up to your expectations. We take note of your valuable suggestions which we will immediately share with the responsible department so that further staff training actions can be carried out as soon as possible.
