First thing I didn´t like ' the late check in (16:00 h), but this is normal for Cuba. The receptionists are not the nicests persons you will meet with the exception of 1-2. We stayed on the 4th floor of the main building ...for a night ...1 out of the 3 we were going to spend there. The room was...

Great rum, food, and location. It is not the Raddison and hardly expected it to be, you are in Habana. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. There are fancier places on the hotel row but it had hot water, clean bedding, and a huge delicious breakfast. Jury is out on the bartender, she was wonderful to us...

Me and my family have arrived at this ''4* Hotel'' at around 09PM to wait around an hour more for check in, as there was just one person at the reception trying to just distribute the keys to our bus group. We have booked two rooms and asked the reception if we could have them at least near each other....

Overall experience: mixed Lots of the promised services (e.g. Shuttle into the city centre, airport shuttle) do not exist (!!!), the receptionists are either helpful nor polite! The rooms (older bungalow area) are ok (very big, but old fashioned) and rather clean (room service is ok and friendly). The beds are very hard... so we did have some nights waking...

This is a nice, larger hotel situated on what one could describe as "hotel row" west of central Havana. It is about a 10-15 minute drive between Havana's historic district and the hotel via a pretty route that includes a 2 mile long sea wall and embassy row. The hotel is oceanfront, with a small artificial beach and a protected...

The hotel, as such, is pretty much what you might expect as far as general appearance goes. Problems start as soon as you go beyond that. Water in your tap is something you expect in any hotel, much more so in 4 or 5 star ones. But don't get your hopes up too high, as any water is a luxury...

If I could give this place a .5, I would. When I got to the hotel @1pm and I had to wait 3 hours before I was able to check in. There was only one rude lady checking in over 20 people. There was no organization to checkin process. People we just walking up the front desk and going through...

I recently spent 3 weeks at The Comodoro Hotel, staying in a bungalow. It was an excellent 3 weeks. The Comodoro under the watchful eye of Director Jose Louis is undergoing a considerable amount of work and upgrading. The hot water issues are resolved. Painting, air conditioning, landscaping work, road paving are some of the improvements. A large new canopy...

We spent 4 nights in early November here. In spite of warnings we ended up in rooms without hot water for the first night. Beware of rooms in the 700 block. We got moved as soon as we raised a concern and the rest was ok for the price. It is a long way from downtown though. The staff were...

My wife and I spent 11 days staying at El Comodoro. As seven days of our visit were for a work meeting we had no choice in where we stayed as it was booked by the Cuban organisers. I had checked the TA reviews of the hotel beforehand and was very apprehensive! Some described it as the 'worst place they...
