Wow, if ever "don't judge a book by it's cover" applied, it would be here. We tried 17 hotels and many Casas without any luck for 2 rooms in early December. Then came the email from Cuba Booking Room, saying that the rooms were available at Casa Habana. Checked the comments and photos, and said OK. Well, I have been in...

We arrived quite late for our stay in Casa Havana, the stairs are steep but we were helped with the cases up the stairs, the accommodation was clean and tidy with a pleasant atmosphere, the staff were very helpful for our whole stay. Breakfasts were served each day on two tables allowing you to discuss your days with other guests...

Average casa. This was the first place we arrived in Cuba (booked through a travel agent) and it didn't feel particularly warm or welcoming when we arrived. Staff we're ok but not overly helpful (although the manager who arrived Monday was more forthcoming). We had to help an elderly couple with their bags down the very steep stairwell as the...

The accommodation is split between 5 rooms on the ground floor and heaven knows how many more (a lot) accessed through a separate street door and up over 50+ steps. The upstairs has very narrow access gallery to the rooms along which it is almost impossible to walk with a suitcase. How it gets such good reviews here is a...

We stayed in Casa Habana for a week during a photography tour. The rooms are rustic by American standards but I think that added to its charm. Our room was ready on arrival. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is great. It is in the middle of old Havana. There are several restaurants and things to do...

This was in an excellent location very Central. Interior of the building was lovely but as for comfort was very basic and I found a little uncomfortable. Staff are pleasant... The breakfast was very nice but had to keep on asking for more coffee as one small espresso isn't enough for me. I tasted my fair share of Mojito whilst...

We arrived late after a delayed internal flight. We seemed to have been given the two worst rooms. They didn't have enough tables for every guest to have breakfast. The meanest breakfast on all our time in Cuba. Good location but didn't seem to be run by the owner and staff not as enthusiastic as in others

Great place. I think we actually stayed in the casa owned by the same people upstairs but they are the same as far as I could tell (I booked this one but we were taken next door and upstairs). The rooms are nice with lovely artworks and French furniture everywhere. The only down side was the lack of glass in...

We were booked in Casa Habana for three nights and only stayed there for two. Upon arrival for the first night we were informed that our room was "still occupied by a sick woman" and that we would have to stay in another Casa some three streets away. This is not what you want after a 12 hour journey but,...
