we spend four days at this hotel ,staff is very friendly and helpfully. my special thanks to lisney our hostess for doing such a good job on taking care of us .lisney is a true profisinal who goes out of her way to help the guest .only one thing about this hotel there are no guests welcome to your room .
My experience at this hotel was mostly great . Specially at the pool deck. The waiters and bartenders were really great. Daniela, Maura, Yalende y Maydel. Were all awesome. Super friendly and very attentive. Drinks and food were great with the exception of a lot of things not in stock. No cokes, no sprites, no tonics, no hamburgers. For a 5 star plus just shouldn’t be. But service was really good.
Claudia Claudia Claudia! If it weren’t for you my stay would’ve been sh**t. Thank you so very much for turning my experience around. Very smart and a beautiful (!!!) girl. With a very, very good - infecting!!!! - positive energy! Keep up the good work girl. You’re a true 5* hotel employee. Other than that that the hotel itself is quite decent. Steel & glass. Very modern. Defo worth a stay
I'm not quite sure what her job is exactly is - concierge, phone operator or whatever. The most amazing smile the best energy cuz at 11.30 pm she'll 'infect you with the right attitude and you'll go upstairs to the the gym and do your workout. IBERSOSTAR gte more people like her and all your reviews will be 5*. Thank you so much your Majesty Princess Diana!
It took me 20h to get there. The second I entered the hotel, my frustration, exhaustion and all the bad energy went away instantly. If you're arriving at night - DARIN is your guy (I think he only does night shifts). He'll make your check-in as smooth as possible, will answer all of your questions ( had about hundreds of them) and will put a smile on your face immediately. There's also Zarabeth (night receptionist too). Both of them are like a dream team!!!! Thank you both so much for making my horrible trip/flight (LOT + CONDOR -> NO NO NO) turning into a wonderful stay. Also, a big shout out to Luis Enrique Diaz - so cute, so smart and so pleasant to deal with. Keep it up Iberostar Grand Packard! You're amazing. P.S It's not to show off but I've been to 56 countries, worked for Sofitel and Sheraton for 4 years all together (various departments) and also worked for LRA as a mystery hotel guest so I know what I'm talking about. Looking for a goof experience? Look no further! This is it!!!…
I spent 7 days in this hotel for a business trip. The hotel is very modern and up to date. The external view is very attractive and the indoor even more. The lobby is wide with several attendants at the front desk (some of them are not very skilled in english and do not fully understand what you need) . The hotel is very clean and thanks to the colour of the floor tiles it shines. It has multiple elevators that do not do the interfloor movements a slow process even during the rushing hours (i.e. Breakfast time). The room is very modern and confortable with several commodities but what is missing is the coffee machine (should be compulsory in a 5 stars hotel). The fridge is present but empty. One big flaw is the internet connection. It crashed suddenly and is not fast. It might be enough for turists but not for business. The gym is very nice clean and very well equipped. The breakfast is on buffet. The food is various but i would have preferred an higher quality especially of fruits (often unripened). There is missing of diet food, as all is added with sugar (i.e. Yougurt). The waiters help you coffee and other beverages that makes breakfast relaxing but an issue if you are in rush. I would have found an automatic coffee device for who as me is always in rush. However waiters are super kind and despite overwhelmed with work they looked after of me (they spoiled me and I felt as a specisl guest). The pool is panoramic and that spot is amazing. The restaurants are 3. I ate in that at the 6th floor. The food is nothing extraordinary, the helpings small but the price super high (1 cup of plain rice, roasted chicken breast, salad with boiled egg and caned tuna, half liter of water..... 62 Euros). The hotel policy is that all the transictions have to be done by credit card and not by cash. This means that the used exchange rate is the official 1 euro to 25 pesos. However the "black rate" is 1 to 150 or even 1 to 200. This makes the prices to 6 up to 8 times higher than normal or at least what you can have in the restaurants using cash. I asked for 2 more hours behind the check in max time and the hotel offered it for 33 euros. 😳 I found it a bit offensive as i lodged here for 7 days. In summary this is a good hotel but in some aspects it needs to be amended to respect the standards present in other 5 stars hotel all over the world. The worth for money needs to be increased.…
This modern hotel is ideal for exploring Havana. Close walking proximity to all the main sights. The rooms are brilliant and the pool and bar facilities are great. You have to pay by card and is pricier than bars around the city but you are paying for the pool and barside views overlooking the bay and castle. Staff are friendly.
Very impressive 5 star hotel. The hotel appeared to be quite new and well kept with attentive personnel who were professional and always willing to assit you with a friendly mannerism and disposition. We appreciated the security at the main entrance however was irked on a couple of occasions when on duty staff seemed to question/hesitated with my husband and I upon entrance after a day/evening of being out. We appreciated the manner in which several concierge staff, in particular Alain, was always extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests. He always seem to go out of his way. My husband and I truly appreciated this.
Very expensive hotel but super nice and fancy. Great pool, even if a little windy. Very well located. Sergio, Alan and Jose were super helpful. Make sure you book online in advance and include breakfast, otherwise it’s super expensive. Jo & Carlos
We had a lovely time at the packard hotel with the staff what a lovely experience!!!! The pool is amazing 😍 cold but just what you need for a hot day. Breakfast is fabulous plenty of fresh food. Perfect holiday for a family
