#27 of 1,531 B&Bs / Inns in Havana
Casa 1932 is the most recommended and referred accommodation in all of Cuba. The house has been painstakingly restored back to the 1930`s era charm and character, and the decor is like stepping back in time. The house is affordable, comfortable, secure, and well located. The location is only 50 meters (150 feet) from the Havana seawall "Malecon Habanero". From this house it is only a short walk to all of Havana's most popular attractions; Malecon, the Prada, The Capitolio building, China town, shopping, restaurants, and nightclubs.Your host, Luis Miguel, speaks fluent English and loves to share Cuban culture with his guests. He is avid collector of antiques, a history buff, and a lover of architecture, design, and decor. This house stands above its competitors by offering authentic Cuban meals prepared by a personal chef, a full time driver on staff, a concierge, and full time cleaning staff. The property is meticulously maintained and operated, and was one of the first private Casa Particular properties in Havana, now with years of experience and satisfied customers. Casa 1932 is consistently top ranked by travel professionals and is currently recommended as #1 by most professional travel guides. As a result of our popularity, we regret that we are near 100% occupancy. Please contact us, should we be fully booked, we are happy to recommend other nearby options which we believe offer similar level of service. *As of 2015 we have been voted the #1 Casa for American Visitors who wish to see Authentic Cuba, experience history, and feel truly welcome.

Our whole experience at Casa 1932 was simply fantastic. At the heart of La Havana, the rooms were quiet, clean and confortable and the breakfast was plentiful with delicious fruits. Luis, the owner, was great at indicating us all the best places in town (sightseeing, music and food). We visited Cuba for our honeymoon and we definitely know where we would love to stay if we come back to Cuba!

We chose the place based on a review in a magazine and we were not disappointed. One would never imagine that such a place exists when walking on the street. But once inside, it is like a mini heaven-on-earth. Small, cosy, quiet - seems like time has stopped. We stayed one night - and appreciated every bits and pieces: friendly people, amazing breakfast, very clean and beautiful antiques pieces. Ultimately a true Cuban experience.

Dear guest: His words about our establishment fill us with joy. The criteria that specialized magazines and travel pages issue about us are precisely due to the wonderful experiences that our visitors live at Casa 1932. Stop time in the 1930s; keep the quality of our people as the main attribute; incredible breakfasts and antique pieces of unparalleled value will continue to be the premises of our house. We invite you to return to Cuba and choose us again; to continue showing you the beauty of our Cuban experience !!! Regards; Public Relations Team of Casa 1932.

Chose the Casa 1932 over the majority of government owned larger hotels and pleased we did. A true Cuban experience in the heart of Havana. The room was large and complete with both a fan and air con. It also has a safe. As a boutique hotel the environment is very much home from home. The spacious bathroom includes a refreshing waterfall shower. The courtyard is a great place to sit and relax. Breakfast is a feast and will likely take you through to dinner before you need to eat again. The customer service is better than anything experienced around the world. The owner, Louis, is hands-on and ensures your comfort and wellbeing throughout your stay. Cuba has its challenges but being here really matters to the local people and they truly appreciate it. If you have the opportunity then do try the traditional evening meal at the Casa, lovely food and very well presented. Literally a minutes walk to the promenade, here you can catch the Havana hop on hop off bus (£10 person for a day ticket). From the hotel you can arrange classic car trips at no difference in cost than in the rest of Havana. Walking to the centre of Havana from the hotel takes no more than thirty minutes at an easy pace.

Dear Mark: We appreciate your words and we are happy to have given you the experiences we describe in your comment. His detailed explanation of the nearby places, as well as the forms of transportation around Havana, serve anyone whose expectation is to know Havana. Maintaining our customer service, as well as the high problems of satisfaction and careful attention, allow us to invite you to return to our house in the future, where you can have new wonders of a city that is soon to turn 500 years old. Thank you for your words and we will continue to make Casa 1932 a home for everyone. Greetings, Public Relations Team of Casa 1932.

I loved this place because of the warmth of the persons and the beauty of the antiques they have. I wanted to book but the place was sold out, nevertheless I visited them three times to know the place and enjoy breakfast. Their rooms are nice and have private bathroom.

This funky little place was a great base for our stay in Cuba. The host was very helpful and arranged transport to and from the airport. We enjoyed the walk to and from the centre city watching the locals go about life. One little tip would be to advise guests that breakfast and water is not complimentary - no biggie but we only just had enough cash to cover this on our last day.

Dear Lazeris: It has been a pleasure to have them among us, their opinion makes us happy and shows us that our home can be pleasant and well enjoyed by all tastes, even funky lovers. We also invite you to visit us again and to know more beauties of our city of Havana. If you wish to book breakfast in our house in the future, you will find Breakfast Included offers that will be cheaper than paying for breakfast in cash at our accommodation. However, you can enjoy some delicious breakfasts, which are the enjoyment of those who visit us, along with the decoration and treatment of our staff. Greetings, Public Relations Team of Casa 1932.
