Nora arranged a taxi from the airport for us which was very helpful because it is very busy when you come out of the airport, we were greeted by Nora with a cold drink. We hd breakfast each morning served by a sister of fruit and eggs cooked anyway we liked, coffee was great. There was water in the fridge every day. Central Havana is rundown but we felt safe all the time even late at night. Nora showed us the difference between the 2 currencies before we went out which was very helpful. We had the room at the top of the casa and it was worth climbing all the stairs, we had the use of a terrace and we could people watch in the evening when we got home. A great place to stay
Very friendly and professional hosts that give you all the information you need. Clean rooms with AC and good breakfast. The area is pretty ran down, but the property is at walking distance to all the places you might want to visit. Also, the internet connection offered is so slow that you basically can use it only during night.
The owner is juste so nice and has the sense of welcome. We can feel sincerity and investment for their customers. Rooms are good, Clean, water in the fridge, air Conditioning, soap in the bathroom ( soap is not everywhere in casa particular), wifi. Food are good as well.when you need something,Léo is always here to help you. We slept 4 nights. You feel like at your home . Muchas gracias por Todos!!
When we booked this B&B it was initially for one night, because we did not really had our things planned for our whole trip. Nora offered a taxi to collect us from the airport, which we refused. We wanted to see local and be local. Upon our arrival we were greeted very friendly and Nora explained to us the difference between the monies Cuba have. THANK YOU, I think it saved us quite a bit, because we wouldn't have known that the bars and the ice cream man gave us the wrong change if she did not educate us! The house is clean, organised and you feel at home. We checked out to visit Valadero, and upon our return decided to check in with Nora and her family again! This is a great place to visit. In the heat the rooms has working aircons, fridges, fans and en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast we had was fresh and the coffee great! When we ever visit Cuba again, this will be our first stop!…
We didn't had the chance to meet Nora but we were very well welcomed by her sisters and family who were lovely, we were given a lot of information about Havana and advices on what to do (and not to do). Breakfast was delicious and in very nice environment where we were chatting and discussing as friends. The casa is pretty well located, at walking distance from almost everything. It's also very nice that we could have drinking water for free anytime needed. The casa is also very clean with we need, AC, hot water, plugs 110v and 220v...
