First of all, when coming to Cuba I would recommend above all not to go into a hotel, nur to stay in a house with locals! In this way you can experience the real Cuba. However, what I can recommend you 100% is to stay in this place! The hostess, a lady with her husband are so so kind and warm hearted. They truly made our stay there perfect. You feel like home. She is a very special and amazing woman! Also the location couldn't be better. You can walk everywhere and it's very safe. It's the best place you can choose! :)

This is a very nice casa particular. It has 5 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. Every morning we were served a huge breakfast with fruit, bread, butter, cheese, ham, and eggs cooked to our preference. There were always fresh towels available. She also makes a great cup of coffee! It is just one block off of the malecon and is within walking distance to El Paseo. I will stay here again for sure on my next visit to Havana.

Agradable visita que hice a casa Aime de San Lázaro 109 en la Habana Cuba donde me hospede por 2 semanas en el mes de diciembre del 2019 con un servicio extraordinario por el precio que te ofrece casa Aime. con desayuno si así lo prefieres. Klimatyczna Casa w świetnej lokalizacji. Dwa kroki od Malecon, trzy kroki od starej Hawany. Bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna właścicielka. Pokoje ładne, dobrze wyposażone i czyste. Dobre śniadanie. Dla mnie nocleg bez zarzutów.

Chegando na madrugada,embora com tudo reservado e pago,como não faço,mas em Cuba é obrigatório fazer,a menina da casa disse que a vovó estaria esperando.Quando cheguei,apareceu uma velhinha sorridente,atendeu me muito bem,nos 6 dias em que fiquei,lá estava ela,andando com dificuldade por um problema de joelho,mas tratando todos muito bem.Só tem que o booking me forneceu outro endereço e as fotos não correspondem a casa dessa senhora,que fica no centro antig,na calle San Lazaro,atrás do mallecon.Quando voltar a Havana,vou ver a vovo outra vez,pois me senti como nos conhecêssemos há anos.

We arrived here after dark on a bus and had difficulty finding it, but, once there the lady made us so welcome and the little room was spotless. Its not far to walk into the old town and only just behind the Malecon, so the location isn't bad. The breakfast she served up was excellent and as its served up at one large table you could sit around and chat to fellow travellers (which would have been useful at the beginning of our trip). She was happy for us to leave our bags there for the day while we went for our final day in old Havana. We had a late afternoon flight and she let us reuse our room for a shower and change before going to the airport. We left a bit of extra cash for that as it made us feel so much better ready for the long haul flight and she had been so kind. The poor lady has terrible arthritis, so we hope she can keep going a while longer.
