My wife was hospitalised off our cruise ship in Bonaire, whilst she was getting treated I was booked into this hotel only a short walk from the hospital. Larimar the manager was the most helpful person you can imagine, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was spotless and modern with a near silent a/c unit. The room had a balcony. The TV had many English channels and the WiFi was excellent. There is a free coffee tea machine in the foyer.
This is a budget hotel with 5 star credentials.
There is no restaurant at present but a cafe alongside is being refurbished and should open shortly. There is a large supermarket opposite.
There is a modern lift as the hotel has two floors.

The room was very clean and modern. The front desk staff was super helpful. After Diving my wife needed some ear treatment. The front desk guy walked with me to the pharmacy also helped me get what I needed as most the stuff was in Dutch. It was a nice facility with balcony. Wild life in the trees right outside our room if you enjoy bird watching! Highly recommend this place for an affordable stay on Bonaire

The hotel is well located, but it is quite strange. When I got there, there was no one at the reception. I had to contact a number that was posted on the door of the establishment in order to look for information to check-in. I was informed that check-in would be at 3pm (I arrived at 10:30am), but they would try to bring it forward for me. Given the delay, we preferred to go to the beach and leave check-in until after 5pm. When I returned to the hotel, I met the receptionist, who was not friendly at all, who carried out the long procedure. He didn't explain much about the hotel, nor about the entrance card and key. Pillows are like pillows: small and hard. I needed help twice because of the room key, however, there were no staff at the hotel. I contacted them via WhatsApp, but the receptionist was not around. In fact, I only saw the employee at check-in. In other words, if you need help, it will not be possible to receive assistance. When checking out, I just left the key and card at the reception desk and left.

The whole experience was disappointing. On arrival we were not welcomed. It was immediately indicated which defects were in our room. The toilet didn't flush, the sheets were torn, and the room wasn't clean. We have repeatedly tried to contact you to obtain another room. The reception was unmanned, and when we finally got to speak to someone, there was no other room available. The employee was indifferent and rude. He indicated to inform management and come back to us, but we have never heard from him since.

No person at the reception, no breakfast at all, curtains that do not close, a shower head that keeps coming down. Yes, the location was alright, not minding motors and cars blasting at the street, which cannot be blamed to the hotel. The mug for coffee had not been washed up. I could not complain or ask for a different room, there was no one at the reception ever.

Arrival was marred by a mix up which to be fair was sorted quickly. Rooms spacious, clean and great a/c. Bit of mould in shower and hot tap very loose and didn't seem able to dispense hot water but bathroom very big. Try to get a room at the rear as whilst I was there there was a lot of car and bike racing on the street till early hours. Location is great for walking into town for dinner or drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fridge in room very useful for cooling drinks - nice touch

A small hotel, centrally located in "playa", a 3-minute walk to the hospital. Various restaurants within walking distance, in a safe area. The rooms are spacious enough, with a balcony. TV with many channels (including Dutch channels) free Wifi, safe and fridge. Absolutely clean. Small bathroom with hot and cold water. Breakfast is included and very extensive. Very friendly staff who also acted appropriately.

One of the best hotel owners I've met in years. Richard is a great person who cares about the place he lives and wants to show it off. The Central Hotel is centrally located with a grocery store across the street and plenty of dining options within 3 blocks walk. They serve a great breakfast and coffee, the room rates are modern and clean, albeit a bit small. Parking is plentiful on street. This hotel fills a great niche in Bonaire if your not looking to stay at a expensive dive resort. We will be posting more on Destination360 with photos and a 360 virtual tour.
