What a lovely place. Located on the outskirts of Kralendijk in a residential area, there are no shops or restaurants at walking distance. The island is small, though, so you never have to drive very far. In exchange you get a very quiet, relaxing atmosphere, with a beautiful view towards Klein Bonaire.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. Kim is a very welcoming host, who is always happy to help with any request. Even when we lost our key and she had to come back to the property, she was super nice about it.
In the morning, there is also Yvonne who cleans and prepares breakfast (if you order it in advance). Breakfast was usually too much and we couldn't finish it, with different items every day. Very tasty!
During the afternoon and the evening, there is usually no staff present. You can use the kitchen and you get your own shelf in the fridge. You can lounge around on the sun beds or the hammocks, and splash around in the pool, or go explore the island.
Also, because this is a small property, there were hours where we had the place to ourselves. It was all very relaxing.
This is our fourth stay at Goood Resort and it retains the standard and staff support that first attracted us to it. Besides the lovely pool (there are now two), the other huge plus is not only that you can cook for yourself (and the kitchen is well-stocked not only with an array of cooking utensils, plus a good collection of herbs, spices and oils available for guests to use) but there is plenty of fridge and freezer space for supermarket shops. The hill location is superb with glorious views of the island and across to Klein Bonaire, not least when watching the sun set across the sea. Our room ( we always stay in 'Cloud Nine') was huge with twin basins, a shower and bath, a walk-in closet and vast bedroom with excellent air conditioning. Above all, Goood Resort is ideal to relax and wind down and the perfect base to take advantage of Bonaire's amazingly good snorkelling - the Resort supplies swimming towels. We still fail to understand why so few British people holiday here. Thank you Kim and Yvonne for looking after us so well and making our week with you so memorable.
We were very pleased to find this hidden gem in the center of Bonaire! Having stayed at more expensive place on the water, this was a refreshing change - and at 125/night, so reasonable!! The hotel has only 7 rooms, and us up in the hills of Santa Barbara. As Bonaire is so small, it was just 10 minutes from the main town or to the beach.
The room was comfortable, and well appointed, plenty of space to hang up clothes and store luggage. The bed HUGE and and the bathroom was clean and had plenty of space for toiletries. The food very fresh and abundant - order one breakfast for two people!!
I loved that we had a dedicated shelf in one of the 4 fridges to store our own food, and 2 very well equipped kitchens and outdoor Big Green Egg for grilling at our disposal! They even have "mini bar" treats available - sodas, beer, wine and snacks with an honor system for reporting. Very Friendly!!
Two swimming pools and two kitchens for just 7 guest rooms made it very comfortable and cozy. We met another couple and shared a table with them for breakfast several times during the week we were there.
HIGHLY, highly recommend the Goood Resort!!!
Kim could not have been more accommodating with a late check out at no extra charge.

The Goood Resort is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay in Bonaire. The grounds are stunning and secluded, giving you the feeling of having your own villa in a tropical paradise. Kim, the inn keeper, is professional and friendly and truly cares about the quality of your stay. The rooms are clean and cool. I highly recommend the Goood Resort!

Our stay at Goood was more than Goood. Very nice atmosphere and looks better in real life than on the website photos. We even extended our stay to enjoy and relax a bit more. Very helpful staff as well. Doesn’t matter if you are looking for a diving spot or restaurant, they guide you in the right direction. Will definitely come back.

a couple with one 12 yrs old son. we spent 13 nights in April. For us it was an extremely pleasant stay. The resort is not perfect in the sense that some maintenance is needed here and there (for example a lose tile or warm water taking a bit to arrive etc.) but it's not the kind of things that for us make a difference. You will need a car to move around and go eat but in Bonaire you need a car regardless. There is a furnished kitchen and you will be able to cook for yourself. You can park inside the gate. There are only a few rooms which for us is a plus. There were mosquitos but this is not due to the resort of course. the wifi was a bit weak and spotty. thank you very much Kim and Maria for a very pleasant stay

Goood Resort is a great place to spend a day, a week or a month… the latter which we did…(and this is our third visit there!!) If I were a devious person, I would say it was dark, dank and dreary….so tourist visits would be minimal and we’d always be assured of having the place to ourselves!! THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! GR is under new ownership and Joost and his wife are extremely graceful hosts. They have hired a new manager Kim, who is extremely conscientious and ensures that your stay is as pleasant as possible. The location is high on the hillside overlooking Kralendijk and Klein Bonaire (a smaller island reserve less than 1 mile to the west of main island of Bonaire.) The resort is quiet with virtually no traffic noise…this is not your place for ‘nightlife” !! The resort consists of 7 rooms, each with a full bath and most have king beds, two pools, a separate structure that houses a dive locker for each room (along with large wash basins to rinse one’s gear) and an open air (fully equipped) kitchen. There’s a large, off-street parking area to park one’s vehicle. In addition, set on almost an acre of land, a large colonnade runs along the edge of a spacious courtyard. Below hangs 5 double size hammocks and above is an open walkway with extensive views of the entire western side of the island ( great place to do your morning exercises). A new “Green Egg” barbecue sits at the end of the colonnade under a shelter that covers a table large enough to sit 8 guests. For us, one of the best features is the open-air kitchen…it’s a great place to meet other guests….but even with the resort fully occupied, there’s minimal competition for counter space. Folks eat at different times, some have light meals, some not and some eat out during their entire stay!! This may not be the type of resort for everyone, but it surely is for us!! FBA…

For those looking for a truely relaxed place, to unwind after a day exploring the island or for those who just want to chill out for a few days and enjoy a great pool lined with hammocks/lounge chairs and admire stunning views. The small resort is quietly situated on a hill, away from the 'beach hussle and bussle', but is in proximity to everything you might want to visit or do. Clean rooms, great beds and a fully-equipped kitchen. The welcoming and 'homey' vibe created by the staff and owners makes me definitely want to come back next time!

We stayed at Goood Resort for 7 nights with our kids of 5 and 7. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the place is tranquil, has very comfortable beds and a/c plus kitchen/fridge facilities are really good which made dining at home a very good option. The location was great. Bonaire is a small island and all day trips are within 20 minute drive. It felt great to come back home where the altitude and slight breeze made it more comfortable than elsewhere on the island. After a day trip a dip in the pool was very refreshing. Rooms were cleaned every day and were consistently spotless. The hosts were very welcoming and helped us with tips and tricks almost every day which made all our day trips a success. The hosts are involved in nature preservation, which we admired, we even joined a beach cleanup they organised!…
