We stayed in the lovely garden apartments for 3 weeks in June 2021. The booking process was really smooth, the owners even sent me the original floor plans of the building to choose the garden vs penthouse apartments. They also provided us with a great car to drive to the kite spot and venture around the island (national park, etc).
Simone/Jeroen (property managers) picked me up from the airport on day one and also dropped us off on the day we left. We got a free late checkout as well, so we had a full day extra to pack and relax. They also have a boot rental service, so you can visit Little Bonaire (Island), Snorkeling and watch the sea-front villa's. When needed, Jeroen or Simone would also reserve for us in restaurants (to save costs on international calls). Service was really good. Nice people and dedicated to giving you the best experience.
Like all other reviews mention, the apartments are really new, clean, well decorated and have all the amenities you can think of. You can literally live there for months. The pool is perfectly clean as well. Suited to do laps or just cool off. Once a week cleaning is done of the apartments, it's as clean as you just arrived :) The beds sleep comfortable, they have a soft top, which I prefer for my side sleeping.
The location is perfect, about 10-15 minutes away from the city center, far enough from all the noise of the motor/drag races. 2 minutes away is "Bachelor's" Beach, one of the few "public" sand beaches. You can snorkel there as well and see millions of white fishes surrounding you. For lunch, try the hamburger food truck that is there. You will love it! Driving to the kite spot is 1 straight way and takes about 10 minutes. Windsock (beachfront) is around the corner, 7 minutes walk, amazing food!
Snorkeling, sub surfboards and weights are also free to use during your stay,
I'm looking forward to visit again. The island life is really relaxing!

We came out to Bonaire for a diving holiday, and we booked Isla Bonaire Penthouse due to the location (South of the Main town and also Airport). We prefer smaller hotels/appts rather than big complexes and this did not disappoint!
Location : The Appt is walking distance to 2 beaches that you can snorkel and dive at. There are food trucks are both beaches too.
Apartment: (Penthouse) have sea views on one side, and for us plane lovers, airport views other side, the top floor (living area) is open plan from balcony to living/kitchen and the through breeze is so cooling. The kitchen has all the amenities you could ask for. Down stairs in the bed rooms there is aircon and both rooms were well appointed. The whole apartment was clean and freshly done up, and they even supply beach towels, chairs, cool box and ice packs (for cool box). Outside there is a beautiful pool and lounge chairs, and you can rinse and safely store all your diving equipment in the outside storage lockers. The host, and the site manager Robin, were all very helpful and we also arranged to hire the car through them which just made the whole stay just that much smoother. We would absolutely pick this apartment again! Thank You

We had a wonderful stay at Isla Bonaire, the property is extremely well taken care off and decorated with an eye for detail making you feel at home. The terrace is amazing, spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, just all very comfortable! The couple running the property is always available to share tips or answer questions. Also the location is perfect, we can recommend anyone to book a stay at Isla and enjoy a wonderful holiday.

We stayed at the Island Penthouse and Garden Apartment for 11 nights. The apartments are located just a few minutes south of the airport in a quiet area off EEG Blvd, the main road south. We appreciated the close proximity to all the southern dive sites and the Wanna Dive dive shop, which offered apartment guests at 10% discount on gear.
With only six apartments on property, Isla Penthouse feels private, intimate and secure. Due to the length of our stay, our reservation was split between an upstairs penthouse for 5 nights and a downstairs garden apartment for 6 nights. We liked them both. The penthouse is split level with two bedrooms on the second floor and kitchen/living area/balcony on the third. While the number of stairs was not a problem for us, guests with mobility issues might find them challenging.
While the first floor Garden Apartments lacked the view from the balcony, it more than compensated with a larger floor plan, including two large masters with en-suite bathrooms and a nice private patio area.
Overall, both units were spacious and clean. Apartments include both a clothes washer and dishwasher and modern appliances. The host included nearly every amenity we could have needed, plus some. The shared pool area was a very nice bonus, perfect for a morning dip or afternoon swim. The apartments also provides locked storage and rinse tank for your dive gear.
Our host Robin was very communicative and helpful, including picking us up at the airport on our arrival. Overall, it made for a perfect accommodation!

We experienced a very pleasant stay. How the building is situated is perfect, a very nice view to Kralendijk en incoming Cruiseships on one side and a nice view to the ocean on the other side. The appartment feels like home. Everything you need is present, its clean and the garden with the swimmingpool is very pretty.
Beside the nice appartment also a big shout out to the owners Inge and Jan who gave us a warm welcome and they were very thoughtful and always available for questions.
PS. I would recommend to rent one of the SUV's available at the appartment, when driving around the Island you will experience why ;)

We stayed at Isla Penthouse & Garden Apartments for the second year.
Last year we had the Garden Apartment and this year the Penthouse.
Both are very comfortable, clean and offers the same appliances.
The Garden apartment has the plus to be on one floor, few steps from the shared swimming pool and surrounded from nice palms.
The Penthouse is upstairs on two levels: bedroom and bathroom at low level and kitchen and open living area on the higher level. From here you have the view over the ocean, nice cooling breeze and you can enjoy the sunset.
The resort is small and secure, and you feel like at home.
Something that we appreciate, and lacks in other places, are the cooling box with the ice packs and new from this year the foldable beach chairs!
The resort is in a quiet area. The dive shop Wannadive is just around the corner and all the southern dive sites are very close.
Of course we will be glad to go back again!

Staying at Isla Bonaire feels like home on your holiday destination. The apartment is modern, warm, luxurious and has everything you want in a holiday home, ánd more. All the details make it the perfect place to stay at Bonaire. From the possibility to rent a car/scooter, use free snorkelling gear, to your own milk foamer and washing machine. All the details are covered and make the experience extra special. Also, great communication and personal service. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Isla Penthouse & Garden apartments in early and the apartment was so comfortable and breezy. So wonderful on warm days. You have a view of the ocean and great pool to swim in. Robin was always there with any questions or items we may have needed. I definitely would stay here again when I return to the island.

Staying at Isla Penthouse and Garden apartments was an absolute dream! The allure of this beautiful two-story apartment began with its seamless open-concept design, which merged indoor and outdoor living. The terrace became our favorite spot to unwind, offering panoramic views that made each sunrise and sunset a spectacle to behold. What's more, the absence of pesky mosquitoes made our evenings truly tranquil, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the island's natural beauty. The privacy felt like a true escape, and the well-maintained swimming pool was the cherry on top. With excellent air conditioning in the bedroom, cooking amenities in the kitchen, and a thoughtful, attentive manager, our vacation in Bonaire couldn't have been more perfect. Our only regret? That we couldn't stay longer. Highly, highly recommended !!

Isla Penthouse and Garden Apartments is very very high standard. The rooms are very clean and decorated so nice and up to date. The kitchen is equipped with all the things you need. The terras was great and relaxt to stay. I can recommend these apartments.
