The location was perfect, quiet, but within walking distance from the center and the beach. The studio was clean and equipped with (almost) everything you need during the stay. The staffs were friendly and helpful. There are also a small pool and Mexican restaurant on site.

We had a room on the 2nd floor - I think there are just 4 of these in addition to studio and one bedroom options. The room was basic but clean and comfortable - a small refrigerator, a table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was also clean and had a good shower. We used the a/c at night but during the day the breeze made it very pleasant to sit out on the balcony entry outside the room. The hotel felt very safe and though there were no safe boxes in the room we left our valuables with the office.

Arrived late however we were warmly welcomed, and allowed to grab a quick dinner from their awesome on Mexican restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and awesome as well! A short walk into the town center makes it a consistent location and I highly recommend this place!

Visited for three days in December. It is a nice place with a quiet atmosphere. There is an internal courtyard that each room opens too. Seems safe and secure. They have a pool and bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. They also have a scuba contract with wannadive. You can rent tanks and dry gear onsite for a small deposit. You get the deposit back after your trip. Close enough to walk to town or the beach. Plenty of parking for the rental car. Very friendly owners. It’s not a resort, it’s a place to rest between shore dives that is clean and safe. If you need fancy amenities, I would go to a name brand

Dive Hut is a great place to stay when you're in Bonaire. I surprised my Mom in Bonaire to celebrate her 50th Birthday. She has been there already many times and always stays there when she goes on her yearly dive vacation. As a diver you could not ask for a better place to stay, they have everything you need for your dive equipment to keep safe! Since I surprised my mom we were staying together in one room which was a room for one person and it was perfect for the two of us. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and had a little kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, sink and kitchen counter. All you need to make yourself food if you don't want to eat out every time. It was very comfortable. The owners Irene and Roland make you feel very welcomed and take really good care of everything you need! They also have a mexican Restaurant called El Bigote which is run by Derk and Harry, it's open 3 days a week and the food is just amazingly good and very good priced! I wish we could have eaten there every day! The location is also very central you can walk downtown by the water to other restaurants in a short walk. Supermarkets are very close as well it's a good central point to get anywhere around the island. I had such a great time and whenever I go to Bonaire again I will def. stay there, I highly recommend Dive Hut. I'm really happy my mom got to show me this beautiful Island and great place and great people and I got to meet Irene and Roland! Until next time <3

I'm in a standard studio which is supposed to contain a kitchenette. The room is ok size, very clean, nice decor, bathroom is nice, bed is comfortable, and the air con works. The pool area looks great. So what's wrong? The kitchen is only a sink, small refrigerator, and a four "burner" induction stovetop that looks like a camping stove (not built in) I wish it were a camping stove because then I could use it to cook or even heat water (because there is no coffeemaker or electric kettle provided.) And today, Sunday, no one was ever on site or at front desk after breakfast (which I did not have since I had my own breakfast things...eaten cold. I am so sorry to complain because the service when available is VERY warm, friendly and helpful! Other little nitpicks: only one roll of TP provided PER WEEK (really??), no dish soap (which accounts for sticky greasy glasses in cupboard. So, this place is very well priced for Bonaire and as a solo budget traveler I am grateful, but a bit frustrating because such little things are missing which matter.

I had a wonderful stay at The DiveHut. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but sufficient for me. It has an AC an refrigerator and a decent shower. They just installed a swimming pool I'm the weaks I was there and that is a great extra for this place. It is located just outside the center of Kralendijk but within walking distance. The restaurant has awesome food, great taste an and the portions are big enough. The sauces they supply with the food are really great as well. If/when I visit Bonaire again I will definitely stay at the DiveHut again. Thank you guys!

During our recent trip to Bonaire, we stayed at the DiveHut. We took advantage of the dive package they offered and it did not disappoint! The room was spacious and very clean, we even had our own little patio outside with a table and chairs. We loved this space to sit and unwind after a day of diving. A perfect respite to talk about the amazing things we saw underwater. It was even nicer because it was covered and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without staying in the sun too long. The dive package itself was super affordable and provided a rental truck and unlimited air and weights. It was a great way to experience all that Bonaire offers, particularly the shore diving. There is also a locked storage room that you can exchange tanks and rinse off and hang up all of your wet gear. Super convenient! The breakfast that was included in the package was made to order and the menu had a lot of choices. Always delicious and filled us up and got us ready for the day ahead filled with diving, salt water and sun! A combination that always makes me hungry. Irene and Roland, the owners are very gracious hosts and were so accommodating! Their dog Sandy joined us for breakfast most mornings and always made me smile. Also the kitten was super friendly and affectionate. I was able to get my pet fix while away from my own pets. Always a definite plus for me. We will definitely be coming back to Bonaire, sooner rather than later, and we will definitely stay at the DiveHut again! Thank you Irene and Roland!

Friendly welcome. Clean simple spacious self-catering accommodation, just what was required for our group of five divers for our two-week stay. Nothing missing in our little villa. Irene & Roland were very friendly and very helpful. The dive package, bottles and pick-up truck, worked very well, no problems at all to report - except we didn't get to see a manta ray, but that's not Divehut's problem :-} However we did see a quite a few eagle rays and lots of other small and large creatures of the sea. Corals were in good condition, no sign of bleaching. The shore diving was good fun and not difficult; first time we've done this of shore-dive trip. I'd fully recommend both Divehut and the shore dive packages. Toto-de-toulouse.

Bonaire Fun Apartments and The Dive Hut was where I laid my head between dives on this year's trek to Bonaire! Close enough to walk in to the city, and just far enough away. The afterglow of the Bonaire sun still burning even though I am back in Canada. Seems we brought the sun back with us! (The week before it was Brrrrrr.... ccccold! -30C cold with freezing rain) Having stayed with the gang at Bonaire Fun Apartments before I was looking forward to the fun times, sunrises and sunsets on the rooftop terrace. However, a two week stay there was not in the cards! Never fear... Roland and Irene worked their magic! We spent 1 week in The Dive Hut regular room and the second week in the splendor of our own apartment at the Bonaire Fun Apartments property. Thank you for the magic! The hotel room sufficed and was close to the breakfasts at The Dive Hut restaurant every morning (8am to 10am). There is a rooftop terrace there. My partner did the yoga thing up there each morning! Good place to get the wetsuit nicely dried Bonaire style (sun and wind!). The rest of the gear was kept in the separate securely locked dive locker on the property. Rinse tanks right there, along with an ample supply of gassed up tanks made for get-up-and-go diving every day! Also a big plus for those who might want to go night diving and come back to a nice warm shower. The site 'Something Special' is so close you can be back in minutes after the dive. Diving could not be easier anywhere. Use the dive guide, pick a site, look for the yellow rock, pull in, suit up, dive! Rinse and repeat! If it is rough or crowded at one site, another is just meters away. This year we had some great dives behind the oil tank complex to the north and in the national park. Seems to be more European discovering the island. Met many from across the pond on this trip. I am jealous I only know two languages. The staff were able to help everyone in their language I saw. The Dive Hut hosts a Mexican themed restaurant Thursday/Friday/Saturday each week. El Bigote did not disappoint. Hard work in the kitchen and bar made for a scrumptious culinary delight! Make reservations! Did the mandatory lunches at Rincon at Roses and Maiky's Schnack! Always good local food. Getting there from Canada was easy this time. No transfers from Aruba or Curacao this time. Sunwing had a direct flight. 4.5 hours! Loved it. More time for diving! Irene arranged a drive and dive package with Avis and Wannadive for us. It was seamless from the time we arrived at Flamingo International to our first checkout dive at Eden Beach with Wannadive. Thank you for the arrangements, always making us feel welcome and for the special touches! When you visit them, need anything, just ask. They always make it happen. Thank you Irene, Roland, Derk, Harrie and all the background elves for an enjoyable stay on the island. Looking forward to the next trip! By then the in-ground pool that just got started with its patio will be great to relax in after a day of diving!
