Detailed Reviews
We had a room on the 2nd floor - I think there are just 4 of these in addition to studio and one bedroom options. The room was basic but clean and comfortable - a small refrigerator, a table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was also clean and had a good shower. We used the a/c at night but during the day the breeze made it very pleasant to sit out on the balcony entry outside the room.
The hotel felt very safe and though there were no safe boxes in the room we left our valuables with the office.

Great value for your money. A perfectly located accommodation with a nice atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and hospitable, can recommend to anyone! Across the road there is a little storage to wash and store your dive gear (for the divers among us). In short: perfect stay!

Been on several venues around the world.
But I must say that The Hut and specifically Lucas and Natalie give you a great welcome and stay!
Their service is outstanding and beyond. After my accident Natalie really helped me professionally and genuinely kept interest in my recovery.
The private courtyard that is used extensively is a real eye catcher. Especially the large palm tree in the middle. As a point of attention: the external tiles can get slippery after a rain shower - be careful.
Recommend highly to stay here. Meet Bonaire!

The Dive Hut is exactly what you need in Bonaire. Clean and comfortable and close to everything. Irene is one of the owners and incredibly attentive. I would strongly recommend the Dive Hut. The accommodations are basic, and perfect. We loved having a small kitchenette to make breakfast each morning. And the pool is very serene.

Arrived late however we were warmly welcomed, and allowed to grab a quick dinner from their awesome on Mexican restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and awesome as well! A short walk into the town center makes it a consistent location and I highly recommend this place!

The location was perfect, quiet, but within walking distance from the center and the beach. The studio was clean and equipped with (almost) everything you need during the stay. The staffs were friendly and helpful. There are also a small pool and Mexican restaurant on site.

What a nice reception by the owners of a long flight from the Netherlands!
They were waiting for me with a drink and even my name was on the welcome sign! I told them about my missing suitcase and that I only had my hand luggage. The owners gave me everything to borrow. So nice!
Later in the week they trembled involved and asked if I had my suitcase back yet.
The stay was TOP. Neat and cared for. It was a great holiday. Get away from it all.

The Dive Hut was perfect! Close enough to dive spots and walkable to town but not on the main strip. The room was cozy and clean and we loved our little patio. Irene was incredibly friendly and hospitable and made our stay that much better! The outside pool is perfect for lounging and lizard watching. Nice to have a Mexican restaurant right across the street. Would definitely stay here again!

I had the best time on this trip... and did a LOT of diving. Dive hut was a good place to stay at a reasonable price. The food was surprisingly great - the first morning I was there, I had breakfast there, and it was terrific. The coffee was the best I found on the island, with the coffee at Gio's being about the same. To share why I felt this place was so great, I must tell you first that Roland and Irene are great managers. They are happy people, who have passion for what they do, which carries over to the service their employees provide. Everyone we met who worked for DiveHut did anything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I will be back without a doubt, and next trip, I will stay and eat at DiveHut. I spent a few hours on a few of my days here trying out different restaurants for breakfast only to find none of them any better than DiveHut's... trust me on this. Another Cafe in the City wasn't anywhere near all it was supposed to be per other forums I'd read prior to my visit.
My room was a one bedroom apartment, worked out great, had an ample sized bedroom with two cozy twin beds, great A/C, good cable television, etc. The kitchenette/living area is perfect place to unwind and write reviews at night, call home, etc after a long day of diving. The WiFi was perfect for my needs, strong signal in the room. The kitchenette has a nice sized sink, small but ample gas stove, pots/pans, silverware, a microwave, and a decent sized fridge that met my needs just fine. There was a bookshelf for storage, as well as shelves and closet in the bathroom, also worked for storing drying clothing and other toiletries. Just outside my room was a nice lounging area with a hammock and some tables and chairs, very relaxing. Just across the street was where I parked my rental pickup, directly adjacent to the awesome storage building where our diving gear was cleaned and stored after each day. The next day I would go to the storage building, load my gear in the truck, grab fresh air tanks (empty's are replaced each day by WannaDive, an awesome perk) and I was back on the road to dive again.... after a cup of their awesome coffee and a quick breakfast from DiveHut, that is. All in all, folks, you come to Bonaire to DIVE not to spend all your money on the fanciest place you've ever stayed. DiveHut is where the bang meets the buck.

Bonaire is a wonderful island to visit if you're looking for a hide-away with amazing weather, great snorkeling, good dining options, and no crowds. I stayed at Irene and Roland's Tropicana Apartments several years ago and was happy to stay with them again at the DiveHut (their new property). The apartment was comfortable, close to the town and the ocean, and it had a very safe feel to it. The staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and fun. I hope to be back very soon!

Hi. I was on my own and had no vehicle so can't answer your question, sorry. You should write to The Dive Hut directly to check that price. I believe I heard that if you book the Dive Hut WITH a vehicle, you get some discount on diving with Dive Friends, but perhaps this isn't for tank rental alone. You could check their website or write them directly. Good luck!
Yes, They have a locked building to store all your equipment with a rinse station. The apartments also have hangars to hang your stuff up outside. It is a great place to stay. We recommend them highly.
wind surf, beach time, nature preserve
