We spent 2 weeks in villa 22, a villa without a private pool. A beautiful villa with all the amenities you need. The park is beautiful, modern and clean. The staff is professional and friendly. The location is perfect, near the airport (15 minutes walk) and near Kralendijk (5 minutes by car).
I would definitely book a villa here again next time.

We traveled to Bonaire to dive with our family of 5 (2 college students and 1 HS). Sometimes we need to search to find all of us accommodations that fit us all. After much searching, the Grand Windsock provided us with everything we needed at a reasonable cost.
We like the 3BR unit, with a full Master bath and separate toilet and shower rooms off the other Bedrooms. Bedrooms were spacious, very comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The Bedrooms were also air conditioned, but we choose to close them off and keep the very large sliding doors on the main rooms open to the covered deck. Even as U.S. Midwestern folks coming off of cold winter months, we were comfortable with the nice breezes coming through the house.
The covered patio is where we spent the most time, lounging by the pool, or in the shade, also the large table for all of our meals. The private pool added to the ambiance and fun, but there is a very large pool available as well. A BBQ grill was brought to us as well for outdoor cooking.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for meal preparations. Other espresso coffee maker, which is new to our US standards, we were impressed with the very usable kitchen
We also liked that we were close to town. Some of the other rental houses we looked at were way out of town, but this made groceries, going out to eat or other and short trip. Also, the Wannadive shop on site was very convenient for preparing and coming home from diving each day. There is a cleaning tub and storage area for dive gear in the villa.
Also, we were pleasantly surprised by Management's commitment to checking on us, making sure our needs were met and being service orientated. They even transported us to and from the airport, and rented us a dive truck from the resort at very competitive rates.
Certainly, it would have been nice to be "on the ocean," but for the advantages of having a new spacious house that fit all of our needs, quick access to the dive shop and committed service it was well worth being across the street. Take a good look at the photos, as they are very representative.
We highly recommend the Grand Windsock.

Highly recommended!
Last week we stayed in apartment B08 of the Grand Windsock Bonaire resort in Kralendijk. This very convenient and stylishly decorated apartment has 3 bedrooms (sleeping at least 2 each) with very comfortable beds. All bedrooms have both airconditioning and ceiling fans. The 2 separate bathrooms suited our family very well. Towels including beach/pool and kitchen are provided.
Kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, large refrigerator/freezer combination (including ice cubes/cold filtered water tap), kettle, 2 types of coffee machines, toaster and a multifunctional oven.
WIFI throughout the entire apartment.

The balcony has a large dining table and faces the ocean with stunning sunset views. The other side faces a large pool which is non-chlorine filtered.

The resort is very well maintained and last construction work is almost finished. We didn’t notice any inconvenience. On-side restaurant wasn’t open yet, but across the street, right next to the waterfront, “The Beach” restaurant/beach club provided all we needed.

We enjoyed our holiday in this apartment very much and we are thinking about visiting the same apartment another time soon.

What a great holiday!

At the airport the friendly staff of the Grand Windsock Resort was already waiting for us with our rental car that we also booked via the site of Grand Windsock. This way you don’t need to go to a rental car agency after your flight and all insurances are included. Once arrived, the air conditioning had already cooled the villa and all kinds of discount vouchers were ready in the apartment, including a welcome drink. We stayed in the Turtuga villa number 30 which is fully equipped and has lovely private pool. The villa is brand new and even includes a laundry room with washing machine.

The large swimming pool of the resort is around the corner and has relaxed sun loungers in the water, to chill down. During the entire holiday everything was arranged perfectly thanks to the good service at the reception of the Grand Windsock resort. In addition to all the other nice trips on the island, we also relaxed on the beachclub of Grand Windsock and enjoyed all the delicious food there. Unfortunately, the new beachclub was not open yet when we were there but we are already looking forward to that as we will definitely be back in the Grand Windsock Resort to enjoy the great island and the friendly people of Bonaire.

The resort itself is very clean, and top notch. We rented a 3 bedroom house with pool and everything was wonderful, plenty of dishes and they supplied towels, toilet paper, and even coffee pods & Outlet plugs since the electric was different there. People all very friendly. Definately need a car to get around island. Only downflal was there was no beach by resort and even bar that they show is across the street, there is all rock and nothing for kids to swim. Island is noted for Diving and Snorkling so bring your water shoes. They do have a bar at the pool where they serve drinks and lunch foods.
Beds were wonderful, couches in living room area were not comfortable and need to be replaced. We will definately be back again some day. Had a great time.

We stayed with 4 friends in the very cosy B14 appartment. Already on arrival we experienced the warm welcome of the Grand Windsock facilities and pool but especially the appartment. The view over the ocean is fantastic and makes the time in the appartment very special. When sitting outside, the road in front of the facilities produces some noise from time to time but we found this not disturbing anymore after one day. The environment (like the Beach, Ocean Oasis) provides ample opportunities to go out for a drink or dinner looking over the ocean :-). GWB has a good car rental service and with a car you can drive all over the island to experience the warm sea with its sea life and wonderfull corals. You will encounter mules and goats wandering around the island creating a very rural experience wherever you go. There are ample shops for when you need something or just want to go shopping. All in all a great holiday and we will never forget great underwater world and experience @ GWB.

This was the perfect spot to use as a home base for our family of four to enjoy a week of diving on Bonaire. Our teens got certified right on site with the great folks at Wannadive, and our 3BR/2BA 3rd floor apartment was clean and bright (and air conditioned!) and had everything we needed in the kitchen, plus a lovely balcony to watch the ocean and enjoy the (strong!) breezes. Beautiful pool area with a bar, although we spent our non-diving time at the beach club across the street, where there is great swimming and snorkeling and good food and drinks. Truck/car rental is a must if you want dive and go into town (which we didn’t realize), so we used the on-site rental from the resort and managed to get one at the last minute (it was a manual shift though!)—which also allowed us a free transfer to the airport on the way home. Grocery stores and lots of dining options easily accessible from the resort’s central location. Lovely, helpful staff. A special place on a special island.

Great apt for us to stay.
Unfortunately we came and stayed for 3 out of the 5 days that was booked.
There were all the amenities provided for a comfortable stay.
Please note- Airport shuttle is not free. 25$ is the charge.
So please keep that in mind.
Also the hotel restraraunt Bloom timings are all different.
They mention 11 am for lunch to begin, but actually starts from 12pm.
Transportation is a hassle unless you choose to rent a car which requires min of 3 days. Other options is to rent a scooter.
You can get taxi services to get you to destinations but one way trip is 20$

This was our first time in Grand Windsock in the 15 years that we've been guests of Bonaire. We chose this resort, as we prefer the privacy of our own villa, but without the hassle that often comes with renting private homes. Grand Windsock hasn't let us down once in assuring us an hassle-free holiday. We were picked up from the airport by Ryan, one of the friendly staff members and after a 3 minute ride arrived at our beautiful villa, where our rented pick up truck was already waiting for us. It literally took us only 15 minutes from airplane touchdown to entering the villa!

The villa itself has all the luxury you want and more: ample space, excellent kitchen, tv set, free wifi and great beds! Having your private pool is very convenient to cool down after a long day of diving, snorkeling, windsurfing or whatever you decide to do under the Bonarian sun. We've also used the large central pool on the resort everyday to swim laps.

We have stayed in this beautiful resort for two weeks. Initially we booked for one week, but decided to prolong our stay, simply because we didn't want to leave! The resort management was very helpful in moving us to another villa the second week. Marjorie at the front desk is the friendly face you want to keep coming back to for clean beach towels :-).

The resort's layout is spacious with beautiful landscaping and the plots offer enough privacy for discerning guests.

Will we be coming back to Bonaire for many years? Absolutely!
Will we stay at Grand Windsock Bonaire? No doubt!

This is a great place to stay at. We travelled as “extended family” and really enjoyed our stay. We rented car through the resort as well as dive equipment for two divers. We had a large house with room for us all - and a small pool to the delight of the youngest generation.
Before our arrival we got frequent standard emails with e.g. offers of rental cars that were already fully booked and also some offers only in Dutch. This was a bit irritating and resulted in some unnecessary correspondence. Also, we were promised free transfer back to the airport, but when we asked about this we were told that we would have to pay that ourselves. After som discussion and a phone call, this was changed to “Get a receipt and we’ll pay you back afterwards”. This worked smoothly, but still… My impression was that what help and answers you got at the Reception depended on who was there at the moment.
Anyhow, it was a great place to stay at. And , I nearly forgot, when we were picked up at the airport, there was cold beer in the minibus!
