The 'outdoor' living room with wooden sliding doors and shutters that completely fold back, allows the outside to come inside. The 2-bedroom apartments (75M2) have 2 bedrooms with AC and a spacious bathroom with 2 wash basins, a living room and a large outside terrace. All apartments are fully furnished and the kitchens are well equipped. There is free WIFI for our guests. Djambo is located between Flamingo Airport and the center of Kralendijk, which is only a 10-minute walk. Also, supermarkets are nearby. The owners live on site. We welcome only adults from 16 years and older, because we would like everyone to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday

Detailed Reviews
Bar none, the best place on the island to stay! We’ve stayed with these two couples that actually live there, half a dozen times now and are in the process of booking Christmas 2020!
We spend a week at a time and we are there to dive, they cater to this activity and have a secure dive locker for all your gear. They dive as well and can offer tips on the best things to see and look for. They have a big chalk board for everyone to share their experiences.
Downtown is within walking distance to all the finest restaurants and no need to even start a vehicle. Groceries stores are all very close as well in case you prefer cooking in the very well equipped kitchenette that all rooms come with. In fact we do breakfast and lunch at Djambo and only step out for dinner, saves $$$ and any special dietary requirements can be better kept this way.
This adults only facility has become our home away from home and why mess with going anywhere else when you will just end up comparing it to Bonaire and Djambo! Just don’t get too popular so we ensure we can always get our room at Christmas, cheers!

We have had a 10 days stay ad a four persons apartment. It is a very quiet en excellent stay. You can walk to Kralendijk. As soon as you are entering the complex, je think you are on an island at Bonaire. A big swimming pool, surrounded with a nice garden and beds to sit or lay into. There is enough privacy to relax. You can change your handtowels as often as you like and the cleaning of your apartment is often enough. The kitchen is good and there was a large refrigerator with freezer. The owner are living next door so if you have any question they are very willing to give you the right answer. We think Djambo is a must.

The accommodations and the people at Djambo exceeded every expectation, every time. The rooms were welcoming, spotless, and inviting. Private apartments, full kitchens, a lovely outside space, and friendly people everywhere. The pool is beautiful, as are all the grounds. It is obvious that a lot of planning and maintenance and pride goes into this hotel. Even the laundry facilities and places for washing dive gear were spotless and complete. All your needs have been anticipated and provisions have been made. Easy walk into town, but far enough outside to have quiet. And the owners, who live on-site, are some of the genuinely kindest people I have ever met. Many people are return visitors, as I will be next time I visit Bonaire. I would consider no where else! We stayed for a month; I wish it had been longer.

For the 5th time we stayed here and the layout of the site is just perfect for relaxing, socialising and just enjoying your stay. At a walking distance of 10 minutes from the nice town center with all of its restaurants and shops the location is great. They cooperate with AB Car rental and AB dive and can arrange all you need for a perfect scuba diving holiday. Mostly visited by Dutch and other European people.

My wife and I stayed here for a 10 day dive holiday. Djambo is clean, quiet, friendly and relaxing place to stay for a dive holiday. This was our 4th time in Bonaire but first time here. As divers, we are not looking for the amenities of a 5 star resort or a place to party at night. We liked the proximity to shopping, the ability to cook in a lanai setting, or the option of walking into town for a restaurant meal. We'll definitely be coming back. Thank you Martin & Ilse for making things easy!

We were in Bonaire for a diving holiday and found Djambo by accident. The complex is fabulous. The room design is amazing and features an open air kitchen and dining area which was very useful. We even had a small room to store suitcases. I would thoroughly recommend and we’ll be back on our next trip.

The days spent in Bonaire from Xmas 2020 to early Jan 2021 were a ray of sunshine in a very dark period for the whole world...
It is our 3rd or 4th time at Djambo and it is just great to come there a feel at home from the very first second!
We love the Island for its quietness, far away from the very touristic Caribbean destinations we visited before and of course for its beautiful nature.
And we adore Djambo as it provides all the comforts, peace and easiness you could wish for.
You wake up in the morning, listen to birds singing, and see butterflies and hummingbirds fly in the beautiful garden. Get a beer in the evening at Djambobar and look at the stars from the pool chairs, all by yourself!
It is our “sunny home away from home” and no doubt we come back to this great location each time we go to Bonaire for our winter vacations.

Djambo is a small but beautiful resort within walking distance of downtown Kralendijk. It is runned by four friendly, helpful people and everything there is clean and well maintained. Definitely a must!

Our idea of paradise is to sip our morning coffee watching exotic coloured birds going about their business amongst the flowers and shrubs right in front of us. If you agree, then look no further than Djambo.
The peace and quiet (but only short walk into town), the beautiful pool, the lovely owners and Djambar to socialise from time to time with like-minded divers and /snorkellers..... we love it!..........so much we've been four times and we'll be back!

I recently travelled to Bonaire on my own and spent a week at Djambo. The property is a complex of 17 or so apartments with a swimming pool and a drinks bar that opens most evenings. The apartments are quite large and very well maintained with a full size kitchen and a large balcony/patio.
The location is great – not sea front but it only takes two minutes' walk to the shore. There is a small supermarket nearby and a big one about 10 min walk away. There are also few restaurants nearby and it only takes 10 min walk to the town centre with all the shops/cafes etc. The surroundings are safe, I felt very conformable walking on my own.
The owners, Ilse and Martin, are very friendly and made me feel welcomed. While most of the guests are Dutch, I had no problems socializing with everyone in the evening. I do not speak Dutch but they speak very good English. Most people come to Bonaire for diving so there is a lot to talk about over a pint of beer.
Djambo works closely with some dive shops. I dove with VIP Diving (highly recommended) and received a 20% discount voucher. You just need to ask the owners for the voucher and they will give you one straightaway. I really had great holidays staying at Djambo and diving all week.

I don't know the exact size of the bed, but it was large enough to sleep in with 2 adults and our 2.5yr old son. So quite large.. Al the windows were covered with mosquito screens. We mostly used the fans during our stay (one above the bed and one on the porch)
