I won't deny the charm of a hammock facing a turquoise sea. Sorobon has this. But if you think the property is just for you and the other guests, be aware the hotel rents the umbrellas and chairs to anyone who wants to pay a daily rate. Be aware the air conditioning is only available 6p-9a, and only in the... More

I only came here for the beach (twice!) You can walk out forever and only have the water be waist high (I'm 5'4''). It's a low-key beach, pretty calm, and windsurfing is there if you are interested. There is a restaurant/bar there, but I didn't try it. There are lounge chairs that are covered, so you can relax and enjoy... More

You Need a truck! That being said if you love/live for windsurfing your right there! The food was great yet no gluten free bread options, still you can eat gluten free anywhere if you try. Beds could use new mattress but accommodation good. We are going back in May. The scuba diving off the shore, flamingo Bay and the food... More

We will be staying in this hotel for the 6th time this Christmas. So, it goes without staying that it is our favorite hotel in the world. And we do travel the world. Here are the reasons we love it so much. Bonaire is a remote desert island and marine preserve. tourism may represent a large amount of the GNP... More

The water was so warm and clean. Free wi-fi, no "vendors" to disturb the tranquility of the area. I will definitely come back to this area! Excellent for all ages. No cares, no worries, just pure relaxation!

This Beach Resort needs a different management, it looks like they try to make as much money out of this place as possible. So everything needs some investments. Chalet: the toilette looks like in a cheap Hostel. (incl. smell). AC runs just between 6pm and 8am. Otherwise you have to pay 15 Dollar per day. Everywhere some information regarding environment... We know Bonaire very well but as divers we never thought about staying in the shallow turquoise bay of Sorobon. This time we choose for a family trip and Sorobon Beach Resort is perfect for that. The villas are all right on the beach and so your barefoot vacation starts as soon as you step into the Resort. I am... More

You can walk for miles and the water barely reaches your chest amazing. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere and not crowded even though it was Sunday. Lots of ppl sailing and just walking and enjoying the beach. Being that Bonaire is mainly for diving it was really nice spending the day at this beach if you are just looking... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in Sept 2014 (our review is a bit late!). Now, this place is literally in the middle of nowhere, so having your own transport is key! Now, although I don't go to many exotic islands, I have to say this place was like no place I've been before - in that is was so... More

I'm going to be biased here as this is my first vacation trip an island and as such I have nothing else to compare it to. My wife and I wanted a place that was literally on the beach and thus, close to the water but more importantly, not some big, fancy resort overflowing with people. We got what we... More
