Well appointed resort in a quiet location. Great restaurants and a complete dive shop that is well stocked and very friendly staff. It is not super fancy but we always felt safe. You were well taken care of with the fast shuttle that took you to the resort, to the speedy check

The apartments were nice and included a kitchen and a small covered patio. Breakfast is included every day and is really excellent. The dive operation was OK, but their rental equipment was substandard. It is easy, however, to get as many tanks as you want whenever you want.

This is a nice place for scuba diving. We stayed for a week and their system works well to coordinate staying at a convenient property and scuba diving. The check in system is woeful. They are unorganized and slow. After traveling a long time you just want to get to your room.

Location is good, parking not great (for shore dives) No real beach. So if you are a diver and want to pay for a boat dive package, then this is great .Great facilities and people good boats. However, if you are an accomplished diver, it would be a lot cheaper to rent a truck

I wanted to answer my own question, after spending 8 days there. My studio as perfect for me. There is a little dining table for two in the kitchen, and another table for two outside on the patio. There was a window in the bedroom (I think it was #610?) the kitchen as not unusually tiny, and it had everything I needed to do some cooking and keep some good food ( go to the big Dannish supermarket, well worth the trip and lots of great produce, even organic foods!). They did not provide paper towels in the kitchen though, so I had to use their towels for a spill.... If you feel that you'd like to have a cough to hang out on, then you would need to rent the one or two bedroom units. I felt very safe, though I did keep my door locked to be careful. Had to rig a small towel in the window of the shower, for a curtain, as I realized that other rooms had windows from which someone could look in to mine, if I showered with the lights on! I met lots of very friendly people, no trouble finding buddies to dive with.

I attended as a solo diver. I stayed close to the instructor for the 1st couple dives and then as I got to know more people that were there for the week, I dove with other groups.

Does BD have a beach?
Although there isn't a typical sandy beach on the ocean shoreline, they do have a sandy area where lounge chairs are set up.

You can find everything from grocery stores to expensive restaurants. Buddy dive has a kitchen with cooktop microwave and standard size fridge. So you could cook your meals yourself and save a lot. Sorry for the delay. I just saw this.
