I just came back from a week at Captain Don's. The staff took great care of us from the very first night. Our plane arrived late and when we got to the front desk they suggested we stop at the restaurant to order some sandwiches and then check in. The restaurant staff was stayed late to accommodate us. We stayed...

The property is in decline. Rooms were clean. However, on the couple of nights when we had rain, the roof to our bungalow leaked with water dripping on my head while I slept. Grounds once were well kept but beds are full of weeds though some staff was beginning to clean the beds near the end of our week long...

We stayed next door at Buddys Dive resort on an RCI timeshare exchange so we could not stay at Cpt. Don's. Prior to the trip I had heard great things about Cpt. Don's and the history of Don and the resort so I knew I wanted to check them out during my stay. I checked the ala carte prices for...

This is our third visit to Bonaire and first stay at Captain Don's. We are here first and foremost to dive--with that said, the dive shop and staff were excellent. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and genuinely wanted to ensure we were happy with our dive experience. The room was adequate--dive simple--but housekeeping lacked in that our coffee mugs,...

Our flight got in late and most restaurants were closed in Bonaire. Capt Dons restaurant had been closed for over half hour but the manager saw that we were really hungry and cooked a wonderful pizza for us. It was the "Parma" and was delicious. Over the last 20 years we have never been disappointed at Capt Dons, always tremendous...

Dove with Captain Dons for 15 boat dive trips over 8 days. Overall - very professional and organized operation. The BOATS are exceptional. Only reason why not a 5 star rating was that the boat size does allow a number of divers to go on each dive. Can be crowded on full boats. The staff - what can I say...

Really enjoyed our time here. One could not ask for a more convenient diving experience. The reef is 75’ or so off shore and one can just strap on a tank any time they desire and go dive. The tanks are always staged down by the pier and the lockers are also right there. We did a boat dive but...

My wife and I recently travelled to Bonaire for the first time, and elected to stay at Don's for a full week. We are both certified scuba divers, but will typically only dive one or two days on a week-long trip for most of our island destinations. We are definitely NOT "hard core" divers, but just enjoy that as one...

It was my first time staying here. Our dive group was well cared for and the food is excellent! The rooms are nice and plenty of space for drying wet gear. Our room did not have a tub, but soaking our gear was easy in the big tubs down by the lockers. I would stay here every time I come.

I went to Captain Don's Habitat with a group of 33 other divers so we stayed in a variety of cabins and condo units. No one complained about their accommodations. I certainly enjoyed the three person cabin with full kitchen, sitting room, great porch, and two bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The daily breakfast buffet was always ready...
