We visited in January and stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. The rooms are spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Lots of open air space with a great covered porch area looking out on the ocean (but not on the ocean). TV and internet are excellent and speedy. Air conditioning

Dear David, thank you so much for giving us a 5 star or in this matter, the full five green dots of TripAdvisor! We loooooove them all. And we always feel humble when we get them. Thanks on behalf of the team of Delfins.

Delfins Beach Resort is the perfect beachfront location to rest, relax and feel the warm breeze envelop your body (if you enjoy that sort of thing). The views from the beach are stunning. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath, 2nd floor, ocean view apartment. It was

We spent the week of Christmas 2018 at Delfins. We had a wonderful vacation and chose a great resort. Overall we had a great experience and would go back. Property/Rooms: The property is small, for now as an expansion is underway and will be completed soon enough. Very, very

Dear guests of Delfins! Thanks so much for your extensive review. We really appreciate it you taking the time to write a review. We have had a wonderful X-mas together with our guests and then it is good to read that we have done good in the end. Although there are points of improvement. Just a few remarks back on our side. Our security officers are present at night and on Sundays. On Sundays as we want the resort to be only for our guests of the resort. So everybody else is being asked to come back any other day of the week. On daytime we are with around 40 of our staff everyday so we have a lot of eyes during daytime to warn us of suspicious things. Our restaurant has been in high demand during the X-mas holidays. Although we have reserved a lot of spots for our Hotelguests, as our guests started booking too, we ran out of places for other guests. Because of this, we have already had bookings for the resort, the restaurant during X-mas as well for New years eve coming in already the day after X-mas! So our suggestion would be to reserve in time to make sure that there is a spot available. The service of the rooms should be done way before 17.00. Because of the busy period unfortunately this was difficult to maintain as we cannot upscale our staff very easily during X-mas seasons. Island thing. We do apologize for that! This year we will discuss the cruises coming in our resort. we have noticed the busy periods and also people that lay down their towel to 'reserve' a spot on the beach. This is something that is hard to understand and we are looking into ways to deal with this. You may find next year a VIP area where you will need to reserve a spot. There service will be given. Thanks again for your kind words! We hope to see you next holiday season!

I was only 2 hours at the Delfins Beach resort as we were part of a 4h organised cruise tour - south island & relaxing at a modern beach club. As it was the day after new years party, I thought this would be an excellent choice, promised a free drink and a sun bed + umbrella.

I write this from the perspective of a very well-traveled American, but still an American. As some reviewers have noted the Delfin is a mixed bag. Some of it seems to be management choices, others of it are just the nature of Bonaire. As others have noted it’s clean, pleasant,

Hi Michael, thanks for your time to make this review. I had to look up the term idiosyncratic. I thinks it is a compliment on its own! As wikipedia says it is a contrasts with a systematic regularity! We do things a bit different. That is what we stand for! Thanks for the compliment. Christmas period is the period that we have a mixture of guests and yes we do have a lot of kids too then because of the holiday season. We love them! As you can imagine the dive vibe comes and goes with the weeks and season depending on what are holidays and which dive groups we have in. So again idiosyncratic! ;-) As we have built our pier I think the feel of being a dive resort will be more present if the dive boats will leave our pier with all divers! We start finalising it somewhere in Januari, hoping to have finished in February. In about two years we will have built another restaurant to the resort so you may have more options for dining. So we are developing the property further! Yes we are a bit further from Kralendijk, and so a 10 minutes drive further to the other restaurant choices. As we do promote having a car, most of our guests use this to enjoy our other beautiful restaurants on the island! Again thanks for your review on behalf of the team Delfins! Renting a car is really advisable to best enjoy the island. There are many places to see the flamingos in their natural habitat. There is an area south of Delfin called Peklemeer where there are many but all along the south shore, one can see the lovely birds plus other water fowl.

There is a food truck (Blue Cactus) that serves Lion fish burgers that are great. She usually hangs out on the road by the airport. Also, there is a restaurant called Cuba Compagnie that has great food and fun atmosphere. Karel's is great for a sunset dinner as it is right over the water.

Hi! We do not have subs on the resort, but we may arrange one for you if you would like. You have an apartment, so you may consume your own drinks at your apartment. In the F&B areas ofcourse this is not allowed. We hope you will enjoy the hospitality of our Bar and Restaurant. Kind regards David

Is there a fitness room in this resort?
In the plans for the near future (2-3 years) we will have a resort with a spa/welness/fitness. The plans for this are almost ready to go to the built phase. So for now I have to say no we do not have a fitness at the resort. We do work with Bon Bida as they have these facilities, but it means that you would have to travel.
