This property is gated and safe . Common pool is fantastic , even has waterfall . Garden villa surrounded by beautiful plants and animals .Yes it's close to airport but remember Bonaire is not Chicago international so not too many take offs and landings everyday . Besides easy to walk to and from terminal . Yolanda and Peter understanding managers... More

Waterlands Village is getting more beautiful every time we visit: the garden is really mature now, which means it's nice and cool. (As cool as can be on Bonaire!) The houses are very spacious and well equipped, with aircon and fans. Of course you have to be careful using aircon: although 48 % of the electricity on Bonaire is wind... More

After four hours of windsurfing, while I was relaxing on the lounge chair in the patio two houses away from the main road and the airport across the main road: My husband standing about 20 feet away from me: Honey, blah blah blah... Me: Sorry, I can't hear you. At that moment, a huge KLM plane was taking off. I... More

Just returned September 22-2012 from Bonaire. We had the pleasure of staying at Waterlands Village. We arrived on a Sunday night and were picked up at the nearby Flamingo Airport and taken to the cottage we had rented from Jolanda at Bonaire Comfort Rentals. She was excellent at arranging our needs and ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. We... More

Waterlands Village is a perfect place to stay when visiting Bonaire. We stayed here for 10 days the first time we visited Bonaire and I'm sorry to say we tried other places afterwards that fail in comparison. The outside shower was absolutely perfect for coming back from being out in the hot sun at Windsock beach and is what I... More

Wow! What can I say an awesome vacation. Our place was beautifully situated within the community. Pool was refreshing and enjoyable. The cottage is extremely comfortable with a beautiful Caribbean breeze throughout. Plenty of sheets, towels and blankets are provided. We liked the midweek exchange of towels and linens. The outdoor shower came especially handy when arriving back from the... More

My husband and I had our first trip to Bonaire at the end of February and we absolutely loved it. On other trips to the caribbean we have stayed at small resorts/bed and breakfasts, but liked the idea of having our own villa, so the Waterlands was perfect. It really is like having your own home while you are on... More

On our 14th trip to Bonaire we stayed at the new waterlands village. It is just an awesome place. The swimming pool has a really cool water falls that comes on during happy hour time at the swim up bar. Bring your own !!! There is no bartender. We went scuba diving every day and the dive sites are just... More

We stayed two weeks at this resort, which we found to be very pleasant. Very nice accomodation (self-service with kitchen etc., not a hotel!), nice common pool, pleasant distance to airport and the city centre. A reason to come back to Bonaire!

In May 2009 we again have spent our vacation at the Waterlands Village Resort. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and Indonesian styled and it has a nice swimming pool. You can choose cottages at the waterfront or situated in the garden. The houses are spacious and well equipped. The porch in front of the house is lovely and the... More
