Stayed here for a long weekend with a girlfriend. The hotel was beautiful and everyone working there was really nice. Daya at the front desk was AWESOME and a really joy to interact with. I love that it isn't a resort, but has the amenities people want when taking a short relaxing vacation. There was no pressure to eat/drink in the restaurant or sign up for un-needed services, but the restaurant itself had very nice meals at a fair price. The pool was pretty quiet all day long (a few kids, but none were loud or stayed all day) and there was plenty of room to relax in it or next to it, while overlooking the canals. The room was clean and everything was attended to perfectly. There were people staying in the rooms next to & over us, but we didn't hear them at all. Well built. Smaller hotel, so overall really slow and easy place to stay. The gym facility exceed expectations - treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, benches, yoga mats and medicine balls.

This facility is clean and utilitarian. Nothing fancy and seems to really have some wear given its fairly new existence. The rooms were clean. The furniture looked worn and several chairs were actually bleached from something. One back window was cracked and another is very gross between the panes. One day they completely forgot to clean our room. This is not a resort. It has a small pool that is only 3.5 ft deep and closes at 7 pm just when you might want to use it. It is not on the ocean but in a little back canal. It is very close to the airport so you will hear planes coming and going. More than you would think. It is in a reasonable location but you will need a car. They have a shuttle for a few things but leave you for a long time if they drop you off before getting a ride back. It is about a mile each way to the grocery store. The room is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. The bar sink is so small that the plates they provide get stuck in it. There is not area to wash dive gear except maybe in the shower. The dining is ok. They messed up our order one night. Gave us very sticky alfredo another night. The best thing the whole week were giant mozzarella sticks. Drinks are weak depending on who makes them. One petite lady did an amazing job but several didn't seem to even know how to fix the drinks on their menu. The breakfast was way overpriced for what you got. We tried it one day and passed for pastries from the grocery store. It is a chain and not outrageous but don't think it is anything great nor a resort. We have stayed at much nicer Courtyards.

Hi traveltime92, Thank you very much for your generosity by dedicating your valuable time to write us your review. We are very grateful for all the content of what you have written. Although each experience is very subjective, we have a little bitter taste because we do not succeed in conquering you in this opportunity. We just want to point out something very important; Our hotel has a very complete dive center, which among other things gives all our divers the chance to wash dive gears as many times as they wish. It is true that our suites do not have a suitable place for it, however, our new villas, to be inaugurated in December, will provide greater comfort to all our appreciated divers. We hope to see you soon. Kind regards, Nelson Ruiz

Our room was well furnished and modern. The bed was comfy! We enjoyed our interactions with the staff throughout the week. We used our Marriott points to pay for this trip and couldn’t be happier with the redemption. The dive friends shop on sight was a convenient base for our shore diving adventures. We could rinse our gear and get it hung up/put in lockers at the end of the day there. We didn’t do any boat dives but it seemed like their boats had an efficient process setup. You will need a car if you are planning on going from here to do shore dives. We recommend Telerin car rental for a dive truck since they don’t require CDW and accept AMEX. We had dinner at the restaurant several times and really enjoyed our server Dirk. Each time he went above and beyond to make our experience memorable!
