This I think is the 7th visit to Windhoek, and it never disappoints. You wake up in the morning to the sound of tropical birds. You walk out to the beautiful pool and you spot humming birds, if you're lucky a tiny iguana / lizard.

If swimming in the pool in the afternoon you have dragonflies flying above you.

Even if full, this place "hides" the guests behind stunning tropical trees / plants / flowers. I've hardly ever heard another guest except having a friendly chat around the pool.

Super comfortable bed, and nice ensuite shower and toilet. Cleaning staff can't do enough for you .... lovely ladies.

So many good places to eat within walking distance (no restaurant on site) for both breakfast and evening meal.

Also like the very well facilitated kitchen, and that combined with a trip to VDT supermarket has lead to some lovely tropical evenings cooking fish / meat with a nice glass of something and the tunes playing. You've got toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer, dishwasher, induction hob / oven, fridge and small freezer, every pot / pan/ utensil you could ever need.

There is an "honesty" bar, so you will never run short of soft drinks, beer, wine, and on top of that an ample ice machine.

The advice from the girls at "the front" second to none and nothing is too much trouble.

Never had one but I'm told Sas's massages on a Tuesday are legendary.

You won't regret a stay here.

Wish we could have stayed longer. This resort is so relaxing and luxurious. Our one-room villa was fantastic. Clean, a wonderfully comfortable bed, fantastic shower. My only suggestion for improvement is to find a place for the safe that is not so low down. I was recovering from a knee replacement and it was hard for me to get down there.
What truly makes this place special is the relaxed atmosphere. Our hosts greeted us warmly, showed us the grounds and were so helpful anytime we needed something. This is not a large place but you have the choice to be as social as you choose at the lobby bar or remain to yourselves at your villa. The pool area is amazing. So comfortable, so quiet, and for those of us who burn easily...had loads of shaded areas. The kitchen is well outfitted and there is a supermarket just a five minute walk from the resort. That made relaxing breakfasts at the villa easy. We only had two nights so perhaps next time we'll arrange to stay longer.

Windhoek Resort on Bonaire is a quiet, relaxed and private resort with all comfort within reach. The 1 or 2 bedroom villas are build around the central lobby and bar area and the swimming pool.
Well designed villas (design by Dutch architect Piet Boon). Lots of green around the houses. Your car you can best rent at Windhoek: great service and flexibility. Bar has the essentials.
Location near good beach clubs and not too far from Kralendijk center

This was our second Spring break at Windhoek. My family and I absolutely love it. Roan and his team are very professional, courteous and friendly. The setting is amazing with a fabulous salt water pool surrounded by Palm trees and very tasteful villas, each with their own privacy and amazing outdoor living space.

We stayed at Windhoek for 12 nights and we really enjoyed it. The resort is so beautiful and the staff makes it feel like home. We stayed in an one bedroom villa with our 8 month old baby and it was perfect for us. We spent a lot of time in our outdoor living room and even though it’s next to another villa it felt very private! The pool was amazing too and not very busy. Every Monday it’s possible to get a wonderful massage and every Tuesday night there’s an awesome women hosting a dinner club at the resort. It was so delicious.
The service was excellent. They cleaned our room everyday and we even got a late check out for free because our flight was in the evening. I truly recommend staying at Windhoek!!

Our stay at Windhoek Bonaire was absolutely perfect. The facilities that are at the resort are simply everything you could wish for. The swimming pool has the perfect temperature, there’s a little shop that has convenient products like sunscreen and mosquito spray and, there’s a self service bar with fresh cold drinks. There are also things that are so good, you didn’t even knew you need it, like an ice cubes machine, cool boxes to take with you on trips and snorkeling gear. All free of charge. Also there’s a pool table, magazines and games you can lend.
Then the apartment. It has everything you could need in an apartment and more! The bed with mosquito net is good, the shower is good, the spacing is great and the kitchen is perfect. In the kitchen you have everything you need. Even a dish washer. Also get housekeeping and fresh towels for in the appartement and the beach.
When staying on Bonaire, Windhoek resort is the place to stay!

Charming quiet small villa hotel, near but not on the beach. Great design for comfort, small but really helpful and delightful staff. The gourmet dinner with Carli and friends on Tuesdays is so much fun and helps you meet others in the resort. Loved the place and loved Bonaire...wish we had stayed another 2 weeks. We'll be back!

We have been coming to Bonaire for years and this is absolutely the nicest and best place on Bonaire!
The welcome and hospitality exceeds expectations. The houses are perfectly situated, so you have a lot of privacy and you can also enjoy the fun at the beautiful swimming pool and the “main lodge”.

Highly recommended!

We stayed for 15 nights in this resort together with our 4 year old son and had a great time! The house we had was clean and everything was new. A next time we would ask for a house not next to the road as this can be quite noisy. In addition the outside 'living room' was hard to sit in in the evenings as there were a LOT of mosquitos. Overall service was perfect and the hosts were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again but in a house with 2 bedrooms.

Dear Ingrid, Pieter and Olivier. Thanks a lot you for your enthusiastic review. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us! We try to limit the mosquitoes as much as possible, unfortunately you cannot always escape them during the rainy season. But... we now have fans on all the porches of the villas, which helps enormously! We are looking forward to welcome you in the future. Sunny regards, team Windhoek

We had a very nice stay at Windhoek. The villa was a good size, with a spacious bathroom. We especially liked the patio. Large terrace with sofa, table and hammock. The vegetation in the garden makes it feel fairly private on your own terrace, despite the neighbors. Also rented a car from Windhoek, everything went smoothly.

The only downside for us was that the towels smelled very musty, even when they had been washed.

In conclusion, a nice stay in a good location if you like to go to the beach/kite spot. We will definitely come back!
